I had a horrible experience with Dr. Oglesby. She was condescending and rude, as many of the other comments suggest (which I wish I would've read before going). Take this as your warning. I had stitches removed the Tuesday and could see my suture line opening, she talked down to me, pressed hard on the suture line and when I showed any symptom of pain (because she's pressing down on my stitch line) she got really aggressively upset and catty. This location needs a new doctor or they won't have any more patients! She was terrible. read more

Dr. Oglesby is the most condescending doctor I have ever met. When I asked her if my voice sounded congested, she said, "Well I don't know you and why would I know what your voice normally sounds like. I'm not your regular doctor. This is urgent care and we probably won't see each other again." Ummm...okay. I feel like a super congested voice is easy for even a non medical professional to distinguish from a non congested voice. Then she made me feel like a criminal for asking for an antibiotic. She asked me which antibiotic I would like her to prescribe. I named a few that had worked for me in the past and she told me why she wouldn't give me those. It was like a challenge. I would name an antibiotic- she would say no and then ask me to name another. Seriously messed up. She probably has to work in urgent care because no one in their right mind would go back and see her as their regular primary care physician. read more

If you are needing after hours care they are a real gem. They charge reasonable rates and do not gouge like many after hours practices. They are capable to quickly handle most emergencies and we've had a good experience every single time. They also conduct sports physicals for around $20 which is less than most others and have a walk in option. We have never waited long here and they've always been great. read more

My partner had a bad experience here and I should have learned. I went in and was advised to come back if I got worse or didn't get better. I told the doctor I could not get an appointment with my doctor or a specialist and they just went on to berate me for not following up with my doctor. I was trying to do that but I needed help with my earache now not next month. Totally rude and useless they begrudgingly gave me an antibiotic that is helping. I called as a worried mother because my little one woke up with a fever and gradually got higher, I gave him Motrin and by the time we got there fever broke. He started with runny nose congestion several days before, but his daycare class was closed due to another child having Covid. I originally called his pediatrician to have an appointment set for a Covid test and to see a doctor, it was not going to happen until much later in the day; let's face it no mom wants to see their baby suffer, so when this urgent care took us almost immediately, it was a huge relief. Everyone was amazing!!! Corrine at the front desk was very friendly and patient, as I was trying to juggle a crying LO and make payment. Ryan was personable and made my LO comfortable while taking his vitals. Doctor Sholeh was sweet and perfect while checking out my LO, and gave him a popsicle for his throat. Ashley, checked us out and gave us all the details we needed for a speedy recovery. Overall, a great visit to the doctor considering the circumstances. read more

Unfortunately I had a poor experience at this urgent care with both the doctor and the nurse and I will never be going back. It's a long story but worth the read. The nurse came in, took all my vitals and recorded my symptoms. When Dr. Oglesby came in, she had incorrect information on my symptoms and the duration of my symptoms (Communication issue?). I told her that I was having extreme pressure in my sinuses/ ear ache which felt like a sinus infection (Something I have had before). She told me that it was probably allergies (Something else I have had before here in Austin and felt very different). She continued in the exam saying that I just had allergies. I started crying out of frustration after she continuously kept saying that I had allergies. She asked me if I was having a panic attack and then TOLD me I was having a panic attack. I told her the reason why I was crying was that I had so much uncomfortable sinus pressure pain and that this isn't consistent with allergies that I have had before. I told her that normally I wouldn't come to urgent care if I knew something was just going to go away but that I was in so much pain that I decided to come in. I told her that I was taking BOTH Tylenol and Sudafed, but the pain was still there. She then started talking down to me saying that I shouldn't worry because this isn't going to be the end of the world and that crying isn't going to solve anything. She then told me that I wasn't going to die from something like this and said I was just having a panic attack. I told her for the 5th time that the sinus pain was very uncomfortable and that I was just here to get pain relief - I wasn't having a "panic attack". I wish someone was there to hear these comments being made towards me because I honestly couldn't believe how condescending Dr. Oglesby was towards me. After explaining my symptoms over and over, Dr. Oglesby decided to give me a steroid shot to relive the sinus pressure. She left and the nurse came back in to give me the shot. The nurse gave me the shot without wiping the area with alcohol first. Things happened so fast that I didn't even ask why she didn't wipe the area first. I was given paperwork then told to go into the waiting room. I went into the waiting room and read the paperwork given to me...What was my diagnoses?! A sinus infection + allergies. I read in the paperwork that allergies can cause a sinus infection. I read over more of the paperwork and found that my weight was inputted incorrectly, the side of my body the shot was given on was incorrect, and that.... I was prescribed medicine that I wasn't even told about.... An antibiotic for... A SINUS INFECTION. This entire time Dr. Oglesby told me that I didn't have a sinus infection only to diagnose me with a sinus infection. I felt like the entire time during this visit Dr. Oglesby was being condescending and gaslighting me for saying that I thought I had a sinus infection.. Only to be told that I did in fact have a sinus infection. I have never had a horrible experience with a doctor before but I guess there are a handful of bad doctors out there and unfortunately Dr. Oglesby is one of them. Save yourself some time and energy and find an urgent care where they listen and communicate effectively to you. read more

Tried to be their customer but couldn't, because when I called, their phone system put me in an endless loop. "Blah blah blah, press 0 to speak to an operator" (I press 0), "Blah blah blah, press 0 to speak to an operator", etc. This is the last kind of incompetence you want to have to deal with when you're panicking because you have a family member bleeding all over and you're desperately trying to verify that a facility is open during a winter storm. read more

Don't waste your time with this place. Had an online appt., filled out the online registration, was told to wait in my car to be called in. Never got called after sitting there for 45 minutes. Only needed a covid test. Finally went in and they flippantly told me "oh we're overbooked". No apology. No explaination. She said come back tomorrow. Oh and then"online registering" has to be done again tomorrow if I come in and it is a nightmare getting everything uploaded. I could have made an appt. elsewhere but now its too late. Coming to this medical facility and experiencing their professional, kind, clean and quick service, I have found our Urgent Care clinic! Definitely recommend I normally go to ARC but wasn't able to get appointment scheduled last minute ( what a suprise). If your need to see a doctor on short notice with no appointment I recommend for sure, they allow you to check in online and ask for your driving time to there office and they text you when you should start to drive there which is amazing. Dr.Oglesby was very professional and the entire staff were so nice which is a breath of fresh air compared to most urgent cares I've been to. read more

Came here because I got kicked in the leg by a horse and my leg is extremely swollen and I am in so much pain I can't put weight on it. while the attending was great when I was here and they did X-Rays and told me they would be sending pain medication over but that she was having trouble with the system. the next day the pharmacy doesn't have the prescription and so I end up calling them and this is where the trouble starts - the rude receptionist is extremly unhelpful and clearly did not do anything to ask the doctor or help get the prescription sent in. after several phone calls of being hungup on or put on hold for hours I am told that they can't get me a prescription anymore cause it's a different doctor. To treat your patients that are in pain with no empathy or follow through on the care you had claimed to provide is so disapointing. I can barley move my leg and it took a lot out of me to even make it to the office now I am left to just suffer in pain. Web checkin is a joke. I had to wait for more than an hour despite of web checkin(aka appointment). In this age of paper less, they expect you to carry paper insurance copy. Which, I am fine with since they have printer. But, at-least have an email address that's easy to type. It's a long email written on a sticky note. I made mistake twice. The front desk was like, it's pretty common and no-one gets it the first time. I mean, if you know there's a problem, just fix it. So, after going through all the formality, I just wait. Finally, they called me in. Did basic tests and made me wait again (this time inside a room). Anyhow, by the time I was done I spend 2 hours in the clinic. Out of which the actual examination (that I am aware of) was 15 mins tops. It looks like the clinic squeeze-in more people than they can see. They should have made me aware of their process before scheduling an appointment. That way, I could either plan better or find some other clinic. read more

Absolutely terrible experience. I do not recommend this location. After checking in myself online, I was given a wait time of 3 hours, told to go home and I would receive a text. After two calls (from me to them) and no correspondence coming from them over the next 6 hours, I was told they were closing in 10 minutes (2 hours before their marketed closing time). Luckily, Texas Med Clinic was still open and got me in within an hour. If I would've known I would be promised care and never seen, I would've gone to Texas Med Clinic much sooner. read more

Not really sure where to begin here... they overcharged my co-pay at the beginning of the visit, and while I was running a 103 fever the receptionist preferred arguing with me about it instead of looking deeper into it. Then, I'm fairly certain they botched my covid, step, and flu tests by barely swabbing my nose and throat. I mean BARELY. They only swabbed one of my nostrils which I've never experienced before or heard of. I trusted them though and assumed maybe the technology had advanced and gotten more sensitive. My mistake. When the results came back negative for everything, they gave me a PCR which took a few days (still barely swabbing my nose) to come back negative, and no one followed up with me like they said they would. So, I called them because I was still having symptoms 4 days later and it took them 48 hours to get back to me. Now I've been to an actual medical establishment where they actually properly swabbed my nose and I tested positive for covid and flu. I know tests don't always work, but I seriously believe I experienced some medical negligence here. I'll never come back and highly recommend you try anyplace else first if you can. read more

My friend took me here immediately after I got in a moped crash. I was in a lot of shock with some pretty bad road burn. But this urgent care was great! They fixed me right up. The bedside manner was so nice. They made me feel safe but were also super friendly and kind. I was in a lot of pain but they were careful and concerned, and did what they had to do with as little pain as possible. - (Stitches, Wound treatment, X Rays) They got me in right away and I was out in just a few hours. There was NOT a lot of waiting or idol time. I'm so thankful I went here instead of the hospital or calling an ambulance. Thank you! read more

This place is so clean, quick and professional. Portia was very helpful when it came to filling out paper work. Mary, my nurse there, was quick and to the point which I so appreciated. Dr. Miller was great, he actually performed an assessment on me which unfortunately, is sometimes rare at other clinics. It is rare that every combination of staff (front desk/billing, nurse/support staff, and docs) make a gloomy experience professional and more than pleasant. This group of professionals has been great. Visit 1 - flu (I had flu vaccine, but got it this year), Visit 2 - flu still but I was impatient and still found ways to care for me and ease pain. Visit 3 - freaked about traveling and/or being carrier of the covid (was sinus infection). This group of individuals are professional, timely, straightshooters, and incredibly polite and empathetic. I had to pay a significant amount for my visit in Mar. 2017 because the clinic could not verify my insurance coverage since it was a weekend. It is now Oct. 2017, and the clinic billing office STILL HAS NOT SUBMITTED THE CLAIM!!! I think that since I had to pay so much when I was first seen, they do not care to file the insurance (me thinks that my insurance would consider what the charges were, and apply the correct codes, and the company might not get the same amount of money that they made me pay. If you don't care about billing/insurance issues go to the clinic. The sad thing is that the doctor was very good, but the business office really sucks. Getting an appointment is easy. Good streamline online check-in. And I was able to fill out all the forms online so when I got to the clinic it was easy to check into. To be fair the medical treatment I received here while on a trip to Austin was adequate however the administrative help inputted my address incorrectly, despite having a copy of my license therefore I never received a bill. The office did not call or e-mail about non payment but sent me to collections who was also mailing things to an incorrect address. I would hope a medical office would pay more attention to details or have a checks and balance system to make sure their own error was not doing harm to a patients credit. With all the other options out there I would go somewhere else! read more

I absolutely love this place! My daughter got swimmers ear - on a Sunday afternoon, of course - and I was about to take her in when she wiped out on a scooter. Nothing ER worthy but all the scrapes and cuts just made the trip the the dr that much harder. The staff checked out her ear but also cleaned and dressed her road rash while we were there and were so, so nice and helpful the whole time. I'm always blown away when I'm here that it's not a pediatric facility because everyone is so great with kids! And I feel like I'm always in such competent hands.
