They have a clever system: Before entering, you check in at a computer kiosk outside of the suite by scanning your drivers license and then scanning your insurance card. The computer then matches you up with your appointment record and whatever test was ordered by your doctor. It also notifies the one employee that you have arrived. The phlebotomist who works there is really very nice, quite patient and easygoing, so she puts one at ease. I was the only patient during my late afternoon visit.

Sign in at the kiosk, sit down, go to the desk when your name is called. I had prepaid, so I handed Michele my paperwork. The phlebotomists moved quickly. When I was called, Michele, a woman of many talents, turned out to be a phlebotomist, too. I'm used to getting finger sticks for INR, but a venipuncture was required. I DIDN'T EVEN FEEL THE NEEDLE GO INTO MY VEIN, which Michele found on the first try! Usually, I'm like a pin cushion when others have drawn blood from me. SHE IS GREAT!
