If you are having a life threatening emergency please go to an actual ER. This took place in June 2021. I've been trying to see this in any way that would not make this "ER" look as terrible as it is. I have been unsuccessful. I'll make this as short as possible. My wife went in for severe stomach pain around midnight. She searched ER and this place was closest. They even have an EMERGENCY ROOM sign. She was placed in a room, nurse asked a few questions, then was left alone. A biller or front desk lady came in and said they know what it likely is but needed $800 before they could even say what she was paying for. She took my wife's cc (while shes crying in pain) and left. Card declined 3 times so she came in and asked for another. Baffled as to why an emergency room was holding life saving information hostage behind a paywall, I gave her the address to the actual hospital when she called me asking for $800, in pain, panicking, and sobbing. My wife left and drove to Christus Santa Rosa. There we learned her appendix was about to rupture. She had surgery that same morning. Something we paid for with heartfelt thanks. This Urgent Care let my wife leave without recommending she immediately go to the hospital, or asking if they could call someone, or helping in any way. If they would have done even that much i would not be writing this now. For all they care she could've died in the parking lot. We understand this is a business. They may have improved in the 5 years since this took place but I wont be risking my family here. This is a place you go to when your Dr. is unavailable. This is not a place to go if you're in an actual emergency. read more

DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE WE DID. Took my fiancé here as she had a small infection on her finger. Nothing even close to an emergency. I will preface by saying yes maybe it's my fault we didn't pay enough attention that it was an ER.... However, we were in and out in 20 minutes and out of those 20 minutes she was probably seen for 3-5 of those minutes. She was prescribed an anti-biotic and that's all we were looking for. To my surprise, and again maybe my lack of medical knowledge, they told her what the bill was and I about lost my mind. I won't get into details of the actual amount but let me assure you they bill as a full blown ER and are VERY proud of their service, by far the most expensive 5 minutes of my life. Again, all for a common anti-biotic. Can't blame them fully because maybe it's my fault for not recognizing that this wasn't really a med clinic but I can assure you I'll never make that mistake again and hopefully I can save someone else the pain(no pun intended) in their wallets. Referred here by my PCP as they have radiology services on site and bill on a sliding scale from urgent care to ER rates. Not true. They operate and bill as a full service ER. (I will advise my PCP's office). Nobody in the place, lot empty. Nobody in the waiting room. I was seen within 10 minutes. Baseline history, vitals, exam. Had a nasty slip and fall down a high flight of stairs less than a week prior and was still in considerable pain with little sleep. I agreed to be looked at to satisfy my wife's request. X-Rays confirmed no fractures, just deep tissue and muscle contusions. That was good news. Treated with anti-inflammatory and muscle relaxant injections. Sent home with scripts for the same. When being examined by the attending physician, the Q&A was a little disturbing to my self and my wife who was present. We both got the impression that I was being treated as a "drug seeker" since I had no physical injuries that were clearly visible or was not on the floor in pain a week later. I do have some pride as a man and will not whine about a 7 pain level scale. Closing impression: There are plenty of free standing ER offices in town, 2 hospitals, their own satellite ERs outside the hospitals, and numerous urgent care clinics. Judge for yourself after a visit or two. We have found both good and bad facilities. Some that treat your symptoms as real and some that dismiss them. I tried to see my own Doc on this one first. Next time, I'll go to the Hospital's ER instead. I'll wait for my insurance bill and see what they cover with this facility. I have good medical, it may still not get covered. read more

I came here thinking I had covid but it turned out to be the flu. I received excellent care by Dr. Brown and her staff. I had a short wait in the lobby before being seen. I was out of the ER in less than an hour. read more

With the Covid spike happening, we were looking for a place to get our daughter seen. We called this place and they were open and would see my daughter. The hour wait time was no problem. We drive to the location and when inside we were informed that my daughter would not be seen until all other ER patients were seen including anyone that walked in after my daughter. She was not a priority. This would be fine had they not said right after that they would still bill us for an ER visit. So, let me get this straight, she is paying the same amount as everyone else going there, but is not getting the same treatment or importance as others because for them her symptoms are not severe? WTF?!!! If I am paying the same price, then I expect the same treatment and priority. Will never go to this place after this. read more

If you guys are looking for a great urgent care, we went to the Riverside ER tonight on Seguin Ave. I had a great experience with my son. The front staff was so welcoming and sweet. The MA that took his vitals and swabs explained everything thoroughly to him before he did them to make my kiddo comfortable and even rewarded him with a juice when he finished. We saw NP Baczinskas, she talked directly to my son for the most part and asked him the questions about his illness and how he was feeling. (With my input as well, of course) She was very sweet to him and open to hear my concerns and thoughts. The radiology tech that did his X-rays was ALSO so kind, and talked him through every step. She even brought us over to show us the X-rays and show him his anatomy (which He thought was super cool, so did I) The little guy ended up having RSV and the start of pneumonia. Stinks, but man, the service was amazing, my kiddo felt so comfortable with the staff, overall a 10/10!! read more

Dr Nurnberg and the entire staff, from the front desk to every single nurse make difficult and stressful situations very easy. They make you feel like family and it really shows from the moment you walk in until they have you better to the door. This is the best Medical facility I have ever visited. From the phone call I made prior to visit to our arrival and then the physician and staff that took care of us. We came to be tested for the COVID and fortunately 2 days later we found we were negative but the whole experience was great. We will definitely go back if we need care in the future. read more

My 2 year old injured his finger today and was bleeding a lot. I was freaking out, so I brought him here to be seen. The staff was really great. The doctor and the nurse assisting him were SO patient and SO good with my son, who was hysterical to say the least. They remained calm and never got frustrated or flustered. They brought him snacks, and even brought drinks for my husband and I. Everyone there was really sweet and helpful, which I appreciated so much. read more

This is the best experience I've ever had at any DR/ER or hospital like environment. From the front desk to the DR I felt cared for and as if they genuinely cared about my well being. I came in the other night in sever pain and the doctor failed to listen to anything I said. She did an examination and caused me more pain than I have been feeling this far and prescribed me medication that has not helped my pain whatsoever. read more

This is the nicest emergency clinic I've ever been too. I was suffering from a major anxiety attack Sunday morning and went here because it was the closest one to my house. The doctors and nurses were SO wonderful and thorough with me. I even told the doctor I wish she worked out of her own practice because I want her to be my PCP! No stars, they are rude, and they don't explain nothing, my family member went in with a problem with their ear, then the rude nurse which was a male in his Middle Ages that's probably Why he was so rude, he literally Ripped out the earring stud causing her ear to bleed, she told him to stop but he didn't listen she even grabbed his hand but he didn't stop, he lost the earring, tore a bigger whole I'm her ear and then on top of that he didn't offer ad with the bleeding ear, just leaving her in tears, then the doctor comes in and my family members try's to explain what he did and instead of the doctor sympathizing, she instead tell me my family member that she doesn't know what she's talking about and she handed her the proscription and left, honestly the worse experience from this ER, 10 out of 10 don't recommend unless you love rude people then this is the ER for you, if not then my best advice is to never show up at this ER, they are going to have a lawsuit on their hands, sorry doctors now a days and don't blame COVID, these people haves been rude way beyond this shit ever starting, we've had issues with them since day one read more

The nurses, doctors, and staff at Riverside ER are amazing ... truly my angels! They are professional, efficient, knowledgeable, and most importantly, caring in ones time of need. I came in with what I thought was COVID ... fever, shortness of breath, weak, headache, cough, etc. The team got me tested and confirmed I did in fact have COVID. They quickly got my 104.5 fever wrangled, chest x-rays, medication and was able to help me get admitted to the hospital due to oxygen levels being subpar. All done within the 24 hours I was with them! If ever in need, I would highly recommend utilizing this ER. I will be forever grateful to them for their compassion and starting me on my road to recovery. Thank you Riverside ER Team!!!! read more
