This was my first time at Life Line. I had an appointment scheduled for 12:05. When I entered the facility, there was a room full of people waiting. I was told to just take a seat, and wasn't even called to the check in desk for 25 minutes. Once there, the lady apologized for the long wait stating that she had computer issues. She then proceeded to try to sell my husband on getting screened as well. It was then clear that they had been adding people to the schedule that didn't have appointments, (sales technique), pushing the rest of us way back. Once I was finally seen, the procedures were fine, and we moved thru the 3 stations in a reasonable timely manner. This is no way to run a business, since the rest of us had to make appointments in advance. read more

The staff was very friendly. However, this is my 3rd year with Lifeline and did not get all I paid for. They did not take my weight nor measure my waist line. They seemed to be in a hurry. The whole experience was much shorter than previous years. read more

My 2nd screening with Life Line. About the same experience as the first BUT they dropped one test for the same price. It still seems more like a production line to get people in and out for the next in line. Having worked in the medical field myself, it lacks that professional appeal. The lifeline screening went very well. I received a call about my interest for the screening since I did it a year ago. Since I had a dear friend pass away from a stomach aneurism with no warning, I believe these tests are worth the money. So I paid $169 for 4 tests. The next day I received a flyer stating that I could get the 4 tests plus the osteoporosis test for $159. So I called customer service and they returned $10 and included the extra test for no additional charge. When I arrived, they took me right away and 3 people worked on me at the same time completing all 5 tests in about 20 minutes. They explained each test as they were measuring them. They told me there was nothing needing immediate attention and that I would get my results in 10 days. It was quick, easy, and affordable. I would recommend it to anyone . read more

Had to wait 2 hours and I have appointment. ultrasound staff not very friendly. barely even spoke to me. Greeter commented that my list would mean lots of paperwork, guess he meant for himself. I had to reschedule couple procedures. Very unhappy with the treatment I received. read more

overall all was well but I did have to wait 30 minutes, hence the 4 stars. I did appreciate that they didn't push the additional tests. The results waiting time is ridiculous. The testing was fine. Lifeline should provide a hard copy at no charge. Testing is expensive.

The procedures themselves were fine. However, the check-in process was almost non-existent. Seems like they may have been short-staffed. I was a little early for my appointment time, even so I was out within an hour to my appointment time so I wasn't too upset. So my only complaint is the process of checking in, which left me and others who I watched wondering about the check-in process. read more

Complete waist of time. They told me 45 minutes to 1 hour to complete all 4 tests. The first 3 tests went fine in the first 30 minutes. I waited a whole hour for the final test which puts me at an 1 hour and 30 minutes. I finally had to get up and leave because I had to go back to work. They kept taking all these old people ahead of me who are clearly retired or not working. The guy that checks you in kept going back and forth checking people in and running the 4th test, that's why it took so long. When they finish the test they tell me everything looks fine, there is no print out of the results. I called to complain 3 days ago. No one has reached out to me. Definitely will be disputing this charge on my credit card and I always win. read more

I had to pay in advance but when I got there in May for my appointment they were charging$44.00 more as they said I missed my appointment in March. Obviously the person on the phone put down the appointment on the wrong month. I was always going in may with my wife appointment. It took about 45 min originally on the phone and then to find out they screwed up the date and wanted to charge more. What a mess! read more

My wife and I were greeted by a very friendly receptionist. That was the one pleasant engagement of our screening process. This testing was conducted in a very old building in Pleasant Hill, which is pretty difficult to find. The two "clinicians" that did our testing must have started their day with crabapple juice! They were not friendly, and it appeared that they really did not want to be at work that day. I get that it is hard to find good help in today's marketplace, but if you had other applicants, I would definitely give these two the boot!! read more

"A review of 19 studies involving over 68,000 elderly people found that in most studies, individuals with the highest LDL-C levels lived the longest. " True preventive "medical practices" would involve being honest with people and not just repeating an extremely profitable narrative not backed by legitimate science. read more

I had a 10:20 appointment to start my screening. I arrived at the site at 10:10. There were many people hanging around with no coordinator visible. Finally, someone came out to start addressing everyone there and finishing their registration. At 11:20, I was called for my first screening. The tech was not particularly friendly but I'm sure he was competent. 3 1/2 hours later, my screening was complete. I had not intended on spending my morning/afternoon getting screened. read more

it was fast and easy. The medical staff explained all procedures and would tell you right then and there if they detected any concerns from there end. all results will be sent to my email. I plan to share these results with my family physician . I am thrilled my cholesterol was tested and it's the lowest it's ever been in years. They test your blood for cholesterol levels. within 2 minutes I received a print i had a print out of my results. Keep in mind all medical procedures performed is based on what package you paid? The only complaint was the Hispanic lady that assisted with my wife's cardiology test was extremely rude and abrasive. No empathy no support very disrespectful. She needs to be working for a prison. No professional at all. I will not be utilizing Life screen Services ever again. Our encounter with the rest of the staff was exceptional. My advice, hire people that have a caring professional demeanor. read more

I am so disappointed with Lifeline Screening. I had it done August 28 and here it is September 13th and I have not heard a thing! I called two days ago only to find that they had problems posting the results on my portal and this not only happened to me but I was told it was a problem for everyone who had their screening done between Aug 20-28. I wasn't contacted with this information and wouldn't have known it if I didn't call on the 14th day of not receiving my results!! I debated having this screening done for years and finally made the decision to do it and even put the cost on my credit card!! I am so disappointed and would NOT advise anyone to have it done!! I even had a call from someone from Lifeline regarding yearly wellness Visits with Lifeline and I said I do that through my own doctor and the woman from Lifeline practically hung up on me!!! I waited 45 minutes past my scheduled time till I was called for my first if 4 tests. Otherwise everyrhing went great.

the entire experience was quick and efficient. it was harmless and the blood work results were given to me upon completition of that portion of the exam. the others will be sent to me in approx 7 days or thereabouts and i am anxious to see the results... the nurses/operators were knowledgeable and answered all my questions and/or concerns.. so far, so good :-) read more

The staff was friendly and courteous. Service was slower and lengthy. Have y gotten results yet, but it takes a couple weeks.

The receptionist was not the friendliest person I have ever had contact with, but the wait was not too bad and most of the technicians were friendly and explained what they were doing. One of the technicians was in training and the person overseeing that training walked off and left her to her own devices for about 15 minutes or more. I was never told I was in the hands of a trainee until I brought it up. She was not able to complete the test and finally the experienced technician came back and finished up. Frankly, I was frustrated and angry because I was there with my husband and he was kept waiting in the waiting area with no explanation of why I was taking so long to complete my tests. I was also upset that the trainee was treated with such disrespect. I'm sure she needed the job, but if that had been me I would have told them to keep their job and I would have quit. In addition the facility was very cold and then they left the doors open to the outside on a cold and windy day, DUH!!! read more

Company was understaffed with employees failing to show up. Visit took 2 1/2 hours. Their Peripheral Artery Disease Screening equipment did not work so I was unable to get all the tests. It was difficult to contact the company to get a refund. read more

Quality tests by competent staff that were friendly too. The process is very efficient. I do feel their BP testing device was somewhat inaccurate as the results were nothing like I have ever experienced before. read more

I love the idea of this but Life Line Screening itself needs some work. I was there 3 hours which is ridiculous for a test that takes about 10 minutes at most. It felt like the women who worked there were just standing around most of the time. No one there was friendly or warm in any way. 1 lady looked completely out of it, like she was on drugs. Another kept her arms folded and looked so mad the entire time. All the women looked disheveled, unkept, unhappy, unshowered, and unhealthy. There was NO privacy regarding your medical history. We were all in a small room in a hotel (about 25 of us) and each time someone would go back for their tests, the women would ask them a bunch of medical history questions so loudly. We could all hear everything. So strange. read more

The screening was quite good, though it would have been helpful to have clearer instructions--with signs about where to go and what to expect. The biggest problem was the facilities--excellent in terms of location in downtown Norfolk, but the hotel where the screenings were held has deteriorated considerably. There was no bathroom/restroom available on the second floor where the screenings were held. One had to walk downstairs and find an employee to unlock the door to the restroom--and then find that 3 out of the 6 toilets were out of order! I would like to believe that the screenings are of a much higher quality! I am also confused about glucose readings. My personal tester that morning gave me a reading of 120 but the screening monitor said it was 88 (with no fasting, whereas I had fasted for 10 hours before my personal test.
