We ordered a urinalysis so we could see if my wife had an infection rather than making an MD appointment. The lab draw and interaction with the person who drew the labs was positive. I have been here a few times for lab draws as well. Nothing outstanding but convenient. read more

Facts. I came in to this Quest facility, inside the Buda Walmart, to get my blood drawn for labs as requested by my ARC doctor. He and I wanted to use a different lab in order to make certain that my first, somewhat irregular results from the ARC lab were accurate. Quest was listed as an accepted vendor by my insurance company and is listed as accepted insurance by Quest as well. I arrived 20 minutes early to an empty waiting room. I sat for 20 minutes and a woman opened the door to the waiting room as if looking for someone. Seeing only me, she shut the door again, saying nothing. She came back 10 minutes later and asked me to come back. She was the only person working at the site. I was the only patient. She was not very friendly at all and I was made to feel uncomfortable as a result. I gave her my insurance card, she entered it, and then asked me for I believe $320 up front payment. I said that everything should be covered, it always had been, including at other Quest locations, except for a small co-pay of $30 in some cases. She said that was not the case and I would have to pay up front in order to get a blood draw for lab work. She was not very nice about it. I declined, as I left there were still no other patients waiting, and I went immediately to my doctor's lab at ARC to have the blood drawn as a walk in. It took 5 minutes and I paid nothing, as the co-pay from my visit days before apparently included the lab visit. I will never visit a Quest Diagnostic clinic again. read more

The woman who took my blood had absolutely no human touch at all. She took blood from both arms and applied the band-aid so poorly, they both fell off before getting to the car. She needs to be working someplace where she doesn't interact with the public. read more

I should of read the reviews!!! Before coming to 629 Old San Antonio Rd Quest in Buda Walmart. I showed up @ 2:00 pm, honestly thinking I had make an appointment when finishing up my background check, but evidently I had not. After checking in I sat for about 10 minutes and another gentleman came in w an appointment and then a couple came in about 10 minutes later. Approximately 5 minutes later a rude woman came out saying that i needed to make an appointment on line ... OK and when trying she came out and said tiredly " Ya know what... we're not accepting anymore appointments today!!" Then proceeded to say they were closing, it was approx 2:40pm and the website and signage stated 4:00pm Never ever give power to somebody who can't handle it or abuses it, such as this woman did!! I've been in healthcare 23 years and have never treated anyone like that and you leave when the job is done.... not when the desk help decides!!! She deserves No Power!! I had a specimen that needed special handling and I was the only one here and they were beyond rude and told me I needed an appointment while my specimen was slowly losing life in front of me. They make you feel uncared for and highly disrespected. I will never return to this location. Meanwhile I can hear them laughing and talking about me behind close doors. I dropped by and talked to their representative on Wed., then came in for my blood tests on Saturday. Waited 15 minutes with no one else in the waiting room (and 1 inside ahead of me.) When put in the lab room, I asked the Phlebotomists about one of the scheduled tests, telling her that I did NOT want a certain test, due to it's large expense and inconsequential results. Upon completion, she handed me a statement which showed they would do the test anyway, and it would cost approx. $200. So she ignored my instruction! (Am I living in a Communist country, where patients have no rights?) (I tried several times to contact them and got the phone tag run-around from their automated messages and when finally speaking to a real person, connected me to a dept. that was closed for the weekend. - Figures) read more
