I decided to go to Life Line Screening at covenant Church Fairmont West Virginia. because I was having some chest pain. I had gone to one before and it went pretty good. I'm sorry to say that the experience this time wasn't even close to that experience. They were rude, and the quality of care was terrible. They also kept wanting me to get more test done, that I not only couldn't afford but also wouldn't trust them to do. While there an 88 year old woman fell. The provider (nurse?) didn't know what to do. I got out of my chair in the waiting area, went around the screen and instructed her on how we were going to get her up. I called for a gentlemen waiting to help steady her when we got her up. She was bleeding and all the had were finger bandages. I would be concerned having an elderly person getting on and off the tables. They are not prepared. read more

I have had several screenings with Life Line. However, this time around it was not a smooth appointment. The Life Line team was 40 minutes late arriving to the facility. When they finally arrived, they did not offer any apologies and needed to set up which put all appointments behind by 1 hour. Life Line did not reach out to any of us to inform us of their tardiness. The technicians were pleasant, however, the check-in person needs to have a course on customer service politeness. What's interesting is that Life Line clearly states they will charge a participant $50.00 for not showing for an appointment or cancellation less than 48 hours. Their tardiness caused a complete rearrangement of many participants schedule for the day with no compensation offered. read more

For the most part, everything went well. Wait time was maybe 10 minutes before I got to see my first tech. However, once again, the gentleman that was taken down my information when I came in was trying to push other services on me that I did not want and would have cost me more. Once I got him to understand,that part of my visit was OK. After the tech started my ultrasound, another tech came in discussing some internal drama with him. Not sure what it was all about, but the tech that came into my area, told him when she left, "We're all adults here". I could sense that this statement had upset him a little. Then, a couple minutes later a different tech came in, showing him a picture of a fish on her phone and ask him what kind of fish that was. This is all during my procedure. I think this is unprofessional and distracting to the person that was doing my ultrasound. Not blaming my tech for a lack of professionalism, but the others two for barging in and asking unrelated questions or having a conversation that had nothing to do with my procedure. The whole reason I was having these procedures done was to look for any medical anomalies that would need further attention, and I feel that full, undivided attention should have been given to my tests without interruption. read more

I was very disappointed in the care I received this time compared to the first time I went. I ended up have stents put in my heart on May 29 2025. The test I received said nothing about the blockage. I asked them it there was something serious then said no. I FEEL LIKE MY MONEY SHOULD BE REFUNDED. read more

This location near me was convenient for screening. I had the first appointment And they were not set up on time. Most of the employees were very nice and welcoming. One lady ultra sound technician had very poor "bedside manners" and stood out as a crabby person that day. I liked how the whole screening flowed smoothly and that I was done about 45 minutes after starting. read more

The problem I had with this company was the aggressive salespeople, calling us more than once, before our appointments to try to sell us more testing, and then again, while we were checking in for our appointments. Lifeline Screening is a very relaxing venue for multiple health screenings with very personable professional staff! When my doctor retired twenty years ago, I could not find a new doctor. I discovered Lifeline eight years ago and comeback each year. The results reports are thorough and easy to understand giving me confidence that I'm doing the correct things to stay healthy at age 75. Not impressed with how the facility was run, my appointment time was 1:50, I arrived early, girl popped out from the screen and said to have a seat that she was waiting on her boss to return. This was the worst experience ever. They were running 45 minutes late, with no apologies. One guy said they were late because they were short staffed because one team member couldn't come because she has a cat and can't travel. Also said that they all hate traveling. Grumpiest group of people ever. No smiles, no gratitude, just so rude. Medical tests are no fun to begin with, but throw in bad attitudes from the staff and you have a very dismal situation. I tried making small talk with these grumpy, inhumane people, but it just was not possible. One guy told me to lie on the table that was covered with blood draw supplies, so I made a joke that he needed some lunch, since it was past 1 p.m. He just stared at me. Seriously, this must be the worst company in the world to work for because it was obvious all 5 of these people clearly hated their jobs. I would not recommend this company under any circumstances to any human being ever. It was a total shit show. Serves me right for going someplace that advertises in the newspaper. Only one staffer at desk to sign you in, but only at your assigned time...even though I was early and very few people around. I noticed the reason for this, is that he had to do double duty, man the desk and run to do the blood lab test at the same time...The techs were just doing their jobs, some more friendly than others...accuracy is very important, I can't tell if the machines and graphs were current or old technology with or without updated software, no one says much...with the low pricing, they are probably bare basics or older technology...You get what you pay for...at least you get a baseline to start with. By the way the upsell is annoying. Spent about an hour from start to finish. read more

The Makers Warehouse location was very nice and also convenient for parking and accessibility. The signage was not clear. When entering, though. There were tables and chairs in front of the screens where testing took place. The screend hid where the sign -in medical person was sitting.. The sign said to sit in the lobby after checking in with medical personelle. Since he was hidden from where the sign was, people just sat down until the person from desk came looking for people he was expecting. There were usually 2-3 others also waiting.That slowed things down. All the people doing the tests were extremely polite and asked often if I was ok. They were understanding of my taking more time than others to get comfortable on my back due to my protruding vertebra. read more

They type of service they provided was good along with the conditions of the place of service, however, the quality of care from every one of the LLS employee's were very disappointing. I never received eye contact from one person unless I addressed them myself and I was treated with very little respect as if I was an object, not a human being. I found everyone I worked with to be very helpful, efficient and courteous. There was a little more waiting that I expected. I was told about an hour and I think we were there an hour and half. However, if your Canadian, like my wife and I are, you can't access there Portal so you can't get your results. They said they would email it to me however, I received notice 5 days ago that it was available on the Portal but we still haven't received our results. Bottom line is the booking staff knew we were Canadians and they should have told us that we would have no portal access and that we would have to chase down our results. However, then we wouldn't have got the tests...all about the money! It should be noted had I been able to access there portal I would have given a 5 star review. read more

My first experience with LifeLine. I also use HerScan for my annual breast ultrasound so I am not new to these types of traveling medical diagnostic units. Location: The LifeLine sign (with arrow pointing left) was in front of a building on the campus to which directions sent us. The assumption was that LifeLine was staged in the building to the LEFT of the building that the sign was in front of. So I parked my vehicle and walked around to the left. None of those buildings had signs in front of them. So walked back (around 100 yds.) and went into the building which the sign was in front of. That individual pointed me farther down the parking area (about 150 yds). I got in my vehicle and drove down to that area. The sign in front of the building where LifeLine was operating was perpendicular to the street from which you approached. In other words, the sign information faced to the RIGHT instead of facing forward. So the sign was not easily seen by vehicles approaching the area. Luckily I arrived 30 minutes early so I was still 10 minutes early for my appointment. Check-in: Went in. Since I had already checked in on-line, checked in quickly and waited in a waiting area. There were 2 areas that were cordoned off by screens. I was seated across from a 70+ year old man who had his legs crossed while wearing shorts. Anyone could easily see up his shorts to his crotch area. There were no other places to sit - so I was stuck looking to my left. (Not a LifeLine issue, but guys - come on). Atmosphere: Still waiting. Noticed the music being played was loud. And everyone in the area spoke loudly. Assuming it was because they are used to individuals that are hard of hearing?? Privacy: While I was waiting - I could clearly hear a LifeLine rep speaking with a client. They were behind the screen that was behind the seating area. They were discussing this client's glucose readings. What his lifestyle was. How he should change it. In great detail. I think HIPA reps would be having an infarction. I was watching the female LifeLine rep . . . everyone else was busy doing something and she kept walking out of and back into the area cordoned off by screens. Like she was confused? Didn't know what to do? She seemed new and lost. I thought to myself - if she's new I hope I don't get her. Was finally called 11 minutes after my appointment time by the female employee. Went in. Was asked to lay down on the table (akin to a massage table) and spread my legs a bit. I complied not knowing what was going to happen. Would be nice if they said "can you lay down and spread your legs apart just a bit so that I can fasten cuffs to each leg?" She was hesitant in her actions . . . like she was unsure. I couldn't help thinking if after paying $$$$ and spending the time to do this if my tests would actually be accurately performed. But it was too late now. As suspected, once she took the electrode clippings off of my body, she asked a fellow LifeLine employee why something didn't look right. He asked her what she did. She advised him. He then said something to the effect of "well because the X wasn't fastened correctly." And evidently she missed connecting one of the other wires to my body. So it had to be reconnected and redone. When it came time to do the ultrasound. It was just weird. I have had a dozen plus ultrasounds performed on me over 50 years. Again - it was just like she was completely unsure of what she was doing. Not the best feeling from a client perspective. It took 32 minutes from entry to exit. LifeLine employees were polite. You can tell it was a "get 'em in and get 'em out" policy. I would lower the volume of the music. I would have your employees be cognizant of the fact that in very close quarters - despite being cordoned off by screens - conversations can still be heard through those screens. Voices need to be lowered for the privacy of your clients. I would insure that your LifeLine employees are 100% certain they know what they are doing. Otherwise, you convey an atmosphere of uncertainty to your paying clients. I am 3 days post. No results yet. However, LifeLine did attempt to call me twice the day after - leaving no messages. I have signed into my online LifeLine account and the tests are still considered "pending." I am uncertain if I would ever employ LifeLine for these tests in the future. Depends upon how they act from this point forward. read more

Hello, I was the first appointment and taken right away. They were organized and thoughtful and friendly. Being in healthcare for 30 years, I have only one request: For phlebotomy, also get a chair or table we can lie/sit back in with an arm holder so we do not have to sit in a flimsy chair with our arm straight down on our lap. Was uncomfortable and unconventional. I have never been in this position to have to hold my arm straight downwards and not move. Having drawn blood before myself, I did assist in the procedure by removing the tourniquet which she was greatful for. Although I do not mind to watch, most people I think would prefer not to watch. Life Line had lots of tables for us to lay on, but not a proper Phlebotomy table or chair which they have in every hospital and blood drawing stations. They just need to get one more table or proper blood drawing chair with a dedicated place to put your arm (usually straight out higher than your waist). read more

I had an 11 am appointment. I arrived at 10:30 and signed in. 11 am came and no call. 11:15 and no call . They said they were on time. People were coming in after 11 am and were being called in. I was about to leave, and they finally called me in at 11:55 am. The exam took 15 minutes. Their queuing system needs work. Not happy with this service. Will not go back. read more
