We went to Lido Cafe for the first time for brunch after attending mass on Sunday. Funny thing was that we initially walked into the other cafe in the same plaza. However, the food didn't sound to be as good bc of the lack of options so we decided to check out Lido which appeared to be packed and "poppin"! To our surprise (and gratitude) the restaurant was indeed packed and we were sat in between two parties. This wasn't that bad bc it gave for a cozy feel and we also spoke to the folks next to us, which we happened to share the condiments and hot sauce with lol. We ordered the Lido Shuffle (steak sirloin omelette) with breakfast potatoes and a veggie burrito with breakfast potatoes. The latte was good too and the customer service was pleasant. One suggestion I have is for the staff to make sure the cutlery is clean. I had to request for a new set as the one i was given was dirty. Portions were on the smaller side, my burrito reminded me of the size at Taco Bell; other than that it was flavorful. We will plan to try other items next time.

Been here twice, both times were very, Very good! The first time I had the fitness omelette and this time I had the chicken apple sausage plate. My friend had the chicken fried steak and he loved it: said he was stuffed! lol It's a cute, quaint spot where everyone is upbeat and hospitable, including the owner. Great breakfast and lunch options, a full bar, a baked goods & pastry case. Definitely worth checking out!

We tried this place for the first time today. The chicken fried steak, eggs, and sausage were very good but everything else was not. The strawberry cream cheese french toast had a very artificial flavor to it, the biscuit and gravy was very dry, and the potatoes were bland and not cooked properly. The server was very friendly and attentive. Maybe we will come back and try something else since most of the food was tasty and the service was good.

My husband introduced me to this charming café almost 10 years ago, and they have never disappointed! You can catch us here once a month, savoring the delightful atmosphere. We usually choose to sit at the counter to watch all the mouthwatering dishes being prepared--it's quite the experience! They have some of the best waffles I've ever tasted--I'm literally drooling just thinking about them. The service is always quick, and the food is consistently piping hot and delicious. They also have a bar and serve up some killer manmosas that are perfect for a brunch treat. Whether it's breakfast, brunch, or lunch, this place never disappoints!

Place was packed! Got an order of biscuit & gravy. The biscuit was not fresh & was very dry. The gravy was fantastic though! Will try again for sit down & sample more of the menu.

We came here after my morning hair appointment. This was recommended by my hairdresser. She liked the place and said it was good. She was not wrong. When you walk in, you just grab some menus that are stacked on the table and seat yourself. I ordered the Corn beef hash and my husband ordered strawberry French toast with eggs and a protein. Everything tasted yummy. Service was good. No complaints.

It was fun trying somewhere new as we usually go to our favorites. For the past several years we've been going to Scott's for celebrations, but that has gotten old so thankfully we found somewhere new and loved it. I highly reccomend this restaurant. The ambiance is spectacular. If you can get one of the side tables under the overhang with the wine bottle chandelier you'll love it. Here's what we ordered: Borscht with Beef: Traditional red soup made with beets, beef, garden vegetables topped with sour cream- To me it didn't look appetizing, but it's a traditional dish so we split a cup. We didn't have much hope that would be edible. We were blown away trying it. It was actually good. We were shocked. It was so good. It was filled with pieces of tomatoes and beets and huge tender chucks of beef. Spinach Blini-Gluten free, vegetarian, 6 blintzes filled with spinach and creamy white sauce. We really enjoyed these Spinach Blini. They were very rich. I could only eat two to them and took the third one with me to share with my husband. He really liked it and wish there was more. I really wanted to get the Cherry Blini, but we were too full even though we shared an entree. I'm so disappointed as they looked so good. We needed a couple more people at our table so we could have tried more dishes and eaten everything family style. Beef Stew-Tender chunks of beef meat, potatoes, carrots, mushrooms and this good things stewed in perfectly hearty cheese gravy baked in clay pot and served with tortilla on top. We split this dish and it was the perfect amount for us. It was really good. The chunks of potatoes and meat were huge, the mushrooms were firm, and the flavor was really tasty.

The salad that accompanied the meal was quite rustic - roughly cut cabbage, a few thin slices of tomato and cucumber and a big hunk of red onion. It was a perfect balance for the chicken and rice. Sublime‼ I was not expecting a half chicken - and oh what a chicken! The skin on this chicken was the crispiest I've ever had without it being fried. It was like chicken crackling! There was a white sauce - thick and yogurty in taste that also enhanced the chicken. Whatever they do to make the chicken skin as crispy as it it, changes the texture of the meat. It is soft as opposed to tender, if you can consider the distinction. It is very interesting but not in a bad way. It's as though the chicken was boiled until tender, drained and patted dry and then baked in very high heat after the skin was oiled. I don't know if that is the process but that the best way I can describe the end product. I have one very small complaint about the meal - it could have used a bit more salt all around. And yet, when I put the rice, chicken, and salad into one bite I did not miss the salt at all! I came in around 5:45 pm on a Saturday evening and left about 7:40 and no one came in to dine or pick up take out. The meal totaled $21.53. The portion was enough for three. The entree was$14.99! I hope that they are doing well but I think they could do better if they kept the prices but cut their portions. I would like to see them remain in business. The food is good and the atmosphere is pleasant and relaxing. There was a TV on the wall but it was not on. There was no "background" music and I found that very relaxing. I find that I am in this area quite frequently and I will remind myself to stop here more frequently. Please, do yourself a favor when in this area and stop by for lunch or dinner. You can't go wrong with the quality or quantity of this food.

I was in the neighborhood so I decided to try this place again. The place is still very bright and clean, and the menu hasn't changed. A wide selection of a lot of different things. Primarily, crêpes and burgers. (of course) I decided to go with the Greek crepe. Cheddar, onions, feta, mushrooms, tomatoes, spinach, and black olives. For my side, I chose the salad. Just as good as before. First of all, the salad, the greens were very fresh, and the vinaigrette had a nice tang to it. It was not overdressed as some people do on salads. The crêpe itself, it was tender, and it was large. They were very generous with the fillings, and everything played well with each other. I was kind of curious about mixing feta and cheddar, but it was amazingly good. The saltines of the feta was a wonderful contrast to the creaminess of the cheddar cheese. Both cheeses went well with the entire crêpe. I was going to try one of the dessert crêpes, but after this thing, I was full. Next time I will come in specifically for a dessert crêpe.
