Packaged very well. My gyro did not leak whatsoever from transport to being completely in my belly! lol!

Critical me says, "give 4 stars." Why? Because the portion is too generous (lots of meat, big gyro, plenty of fries), I have a tough time wasting food, I know the fries & gyro will not reheat well, so I gorge. I'd much rather have a smaller portion and save $2. That's just me. Tonight was my first visit. A friendly young lady immediately greeted me when I walked in. Very polite, attentive and soft spoken. It was a breathe of fresh air. Lamb/beef gyro was ready in just over 5 minutes. The dill sour cream type sauce was wonderful and I used it for my fries. The fries were seasoned beautifully. After having fries at another spot nearby, the drive home makes them a little soggy. But they are still de-li-cious! I need a solution to get them home less soggy. Got ideas? I'll definitely return. Thank you wonderful Afghans. Oh, and it seems they offer hookah for anyone interested. And if you are a nonsmoker, but go to join hookah users, just $5.

Coworker: What is THAT? Me: Bolani. Try it. Coworker: Huh? Me: Bolani. Go ahead, try it. Coworker: (Tries a piece) Damn, that's good. Me: Exactly. You've probably driven past this little inconspicuous Mediterranean spot a hundred times and didn't realize what you are missing. Vegan items: Bolani, Dolma, Falafel, Hummus. All delicious and reasonably priced. I'd jump for joy if they added a vegan tzatziki sauce to go with that falafel though. This is such a welcomed addition to the Sac suburban food scene it's not even funny. Definitely give this place a try.

Incredible food + kind service. Everything we ordered off the menu came out amazingly, full of unique flavor and high quality ingredients that made a positive lasting impression. Very affordable and fairly priced as well! My family and I loved the gyro greek pizza, grilled chicken gyro wrap with garlic fries, tikka kabob dish that came with side salad and seasoned rice, beef lamb gyro nachos for appetizer, and the mango habanero wings. Everything was prepared beautifully. We enjoyed everything we tried and we will be back for sure!

Everything is so good even the bread

Went here after my tattoo session near by here. Craving some Mediterranean food. Ordered combination and garlic bread omg so crispy and yummy . All I can say ish wow. So damn good. The meat was so tender and juicy. Wish this location is close by my house I wouldn't mind eating here all the time but I would drive here sometimes just to eat here. Yummy. I can't wait to go back for more. Great restaurant with hookah lounge behind if y'all into that you can go there after

    Mmmmm middle eastern desserts!

I wouldn't call them gyros, more like shawarma. The meat was chopped. The worst part was the lady pronounced it Guy-row... Really! The portion was good size on the gyro and was tasty. But didn't sit well in my tummy. They offer is in 3 levels of spicy. The hubby had it medium and enjoyed it. The dolmas were mushy and not much flavor in the filling. They may need to tweet their food still.

Came here a couple of times before quarantine and nothing has wowed me. I've tried their Elk Grove location before and thought it was good so I when I saw there was one here, I had to get the bolani again. It wasn't as good as I remembered it to be. I've tried their wrap and gyro and bf got the Philly cheese steak and a plate. The plate wasn't bad. Food here was average and also they are quite slow when making the food. It was like a 25 min wait.

I'm so behind with my reviews and finally taking some time to leave some feedback on some places I've tried the past 4-6 months. Today's review is for Ariana Gyros & Kabobs. They're located in Carmichael off 7336 Fair Oaks Blvd across the street from McDonalds. Ariana Gyros have been at this location about 6 months which hasn't been that long. This place is easy to miss if you don't pay attention where to your driving. In my opinion is not the best location business or parking wise. But where they lack the great location food makes up for it. Their food is excellent. I've ate here about 6 times already and not once was disappointed. Everything is great from their gyros to chicken bowl. Definitely worth trying! You won't be disappointed! My three favorite meals are Bolani, Beef/Lamb Gyro Bowl and Beef/Lamb Gyro Wrap. Service - 5 Stars Food - 5 Stars Location- 3 Stars

Went here for hookah the other day - smoked wonderfully and the service was great. I ordered food to go, combo plate, bolani, gyro and philly cheese steak sandwich, everything was delicious. Highly recommend this place.

Number 10 gyro wrap with Beef/Lamb. Yum

Love their medium lamb gyros! Tried #8 & #10 with Lamb/Beef meat and tasted super delicious. Customer service is great and the garlic fries are legit! Prices are very affordable. This place is definitely a hidden gem that I found randomly on Yelp and to find out after talking to the lady at cashier that they just opened 1-2 months ago. I don't think there are any other Kabob/Gyro places in Carmichael this good so this place automatically wins the title for best :)

Slim pickings at home so the three of us headed to Ariana to give this fairly new restaurant a try. We had the dolmas to start which were served warm - a first for me but very flavorful. Much softer warm too. We had the triple humus which was great with the pita to share. A lamb/beef gyro, a chicken gyro, and I had a falafel pita. All the food was very good but the beef/lamb gyro was exceptional. On the basis of the quality and fair pricing of the food this place rates 5 stars. However, the ice water container was empty after getting half filled cups which I secured by reaching over the counter since there were only 2 by the water. Also, there were no forks in the containers and the knife they brought to me had some kind of black spot on it which I wiped off with my napkin. Once they address these minor issues, this place will be 5 star!

Where do I begin I started with bolani half order it was still huge portion And then the chicken kabob plate BEST BOLANI I HAVE EVER HAD, and OF COURSE THE BEST KABOB I will be back over and over for sure! Huge portions I had to take it home and will eat it for dinner

Are you back? Needing gyro bowls! 7/5/21

We are open. New hours are 4pm-10pm

What items on the menu are non-dairy? I cannot have milk, butter, yogurt or cheeses.....it's horrible! I love spicy foods and ethnic dishes but so many have dairy products, even hidden in sauces that the staff forget have milk or yogurt bases.

Everything on our menu can be made dairy free, the only dairy we use is in our sauces and cheese.

I'm not vegan but if I was I'd eat here daily, their olive salad (not sure of the name at the moment) is absolutely delicious, grilled veggies are cooked perfectly. Kolbeh Kabob serves Persian and Mediterranean cuisine…read more Language barrier issues with our server affected my ability to order what I wanted, led to an upsell, and prevented me from separating or splitting the bill. Server did offer to let us choose 2 different meats for our two #41 Koobideh plates (2 beef skewers for $25), but I think we would have been better off just ordering one #61 All Koobideh plate (3 different meat skewers for $34). One plate has plenty of basmati rice for two people to share. She suggested the two #41 orders, instead of answering how much an extra order of rice would cost. Maybe you can't order a side of rice? Rice comes with each entree. By ordering the 2nd plate, she offered or included the $8 Bread Basket for no extra charge. It was my friend's birthday. I wanted to pay, and she wanted to order extra to go, so I wanted two separate bills, but it seemed too complicated to explain or disallowed. After the food was delivered to the table, server didn't check on us anymore. I guess the restaurant doesn't do anything special for birthdays. My friend thought all the koobideh tasted the same. I liked them in this order: 1) Lamb, 2) Chicken, and 3) Beef, but they're the same texture, so they aren't all that different. I should have ordered a different 2nd entree, instead of two Koobideh plates. The #18 Bademjan Borani eggplant appetizer was yummy. It did come with some bread, so you don't have to order the bread basket. The bread is served warm. The basmati rice was light and fluffy, but not flavorful or buttery. You can pay a $4 upgrade to switch the rice to salad or a fancier stir fried rice. Read the Vegetarian Dishes menu section to learn about the various fried rice or polo preparations. Our server suggested the Fava Bean Rice or Baghali Polo because it is a Persian New Year dish. Yelp reviewers recommended the Zereshk Polo, which includes barberries, a fruit similar to currants. $10 to add a skewer of veggies. $4 to add a salad is mentioned under the Vegetarian Dishes menu and Seafood & Combination Plates menu. I didn't like how the sugar cubes for the Persian Tea were served. It looked communal and exposed to the elements. You could see sugar dust on the serving bowl. Other Persian restaurants serve the sugar in a smaller covered bowl. Formal dining room. Lunch specials are Monday to Friday, 11 am to 3 pm, excluding holidays. Lunch prices range from $16-$20. 3 different $8 soup offerings: chicken barley, ashe reshteh, or green lentil.
