    Baklava!
    Teresa B.

My husband took me here because he really liked this place and it did not disappoint! This place has phenomenal service and great food! The lady who was serving us (and I think the owner?) was so sweet, she helped us decide on what to order. Everything made to order and the price was really good. We got heaping portions for two people and it was less than $30 for lunch including drinks and dessert! We split the combo ($17.99) and added pita (2.99), two drinks, and a baklava. The baklava was huge, shaped like a rose and had hints of rose. The meat was so tender and juicy, the rice was aromatic. The hummus was so good and the fire roasted tomatoes. The pita was the only thing I was meh on. There were plenty of parking in the strip mall. We'll definitely be back!

Something that they add new to menu chainaki (dezi) 10/10 must try

I entered the restaurant to a welcoming environment and a kind staff. Came close to closing time and they accommodated me past their closing time. Overall one of the best Persian/middle eastern restaurants in Sacramento. After looking through the menu I was amazed at such competitive pricing considering the portions. Overall I am recommending this restaurant to anyone who will listen

Overall great ! ( food, serving and price ) The meat weren't dry and salty and the hummus was exemplary good, Their serving is big enough for the price. Will highly recommend!

PORTIONS: filling PRICE: appropriate SERVICE: counter style AMBIANCE: clean, but hot (outside temp equivalent) and sticky tables FLAVORS: Lamb shish kabob plate (4/5) Koobideh plate (5/5) BONUS TIP: the rice is already flavorful by itself but the bottom layer of rice that has soaked up the lamb shish juices ....SO GOOD

Bruh! This was the best chicken Souvlaki I've ever tasted. Hands down! Hits: -Large chunks of perfectly marinated and tender chicken. -long grain basmati rice topped with a bit of saffron rice cooked perfectly. -tzatziki's sauce on point, ordered an extra but they already give you so much you can save the extra -two wedges of slightly grilled pita , love the crisp outsides -side greek salad w peppers, cucumber, tomato, kalamata , lettuce and feta.

Their koobideh is probably the best I've had in the Fulton area. Very juicy, very well seasoned. I can assure you that this is a clean business and the staff are really kind and cooperative. They cook the meat thoroughly and are assistive with all of my needs. I usually don't even rate places but I went out of my way for Sactown because they are easily my top option.

Such a nice a place with warm welcome and greeting the food was great, will come back for sure.

Excellent food, made fresh and the beef is juicy. I highly recommend this place, it does not get enough love. They also have lamb and chicken platters that are amazing.

Ask the Community - Sactown Kabob

Do they have Barg? I don't see their menu posted here. I'm looking for a Soltani combo. Thanks!

No, they do have beef shish kabob, but no Barg. However, the Kobedeh and chicken kabobs are great and very reasonably priced. i love the Zereshk Polo itself. i think you will enjoy the food greatly. If you want Barg, you can visit the full service…

Is this place better than famous kabob? and are the waitresses hella hot?

As good as and a good value. And, lol, no hot waitresses or table service.

That's why we couldn't find "Royal Cuisine." Bare bones ambiance with a LCD menu screen that highlighted pics of protein plates and platters showing the same exact garnishes of rice, beans, cuke salad and flatbread on each plate. Almost everything is under $20. The one staff was pleasant and patient explaining the best he could what was included in the combo platter: 2 of each kabob, salad, bread, rice, beans $32. Ordering it to go we opened up the heavy parcel and saw 2 exact containers wondering if we ordered 2 of each. But no, it's the combo of marinated chicken, beef and lamb that were separately marinated and charcoal grilled. Great clean flavors, not overly spiced nor overcooked. Beans and rice were cooked correctly but a little bland, that needed yoghurt or chili paste for moisture. Good sized portions that were actually lean in nature, the cucumbers, tomatoes and dill helped bring the moisture together. Flatbread was serviceable but no oil or seasoning.

There is no TVs but there is ethnic music playing in the background so it creates a quiet atmosphere for conversation. This restaurant is family owned and run. The father & son manage the dining area. The son who was our server/waiter was very detailed oriented in describing where their food originated & was delivered from + how differently the food would taste with different cuts. I ordered the lamb & my friend ordered the chicken. This particular cut of lamb was not my favorite and I favored the chicken more so next time I dine here I will try a different cut of lamb. With the meal, they serve fresh lemons, and two types of sauces. I personally am not a rice eater however, the way the balsamic rice was prepared I ate everything that was on my plate. Except for the cut of lamb I ordered, I truly enjoyed my meal and would come back and recommend it to anyone who asks if I know of a good Greek restaurant.

My husband absolutely loved the brown sauce they give you, which is housemade and similar to a bbq/steak sauce. I wish we lived closer... we would be regulars.

I was most impressed by the interior design and atmosphere. It seems like they are updating some parts of the cafe right now but there are a lot of very nice tables with super cute decor and even a conversation pit in the corner! For food, I tried the Sultani Combo, which came with one lamb and one chicken kabob over basmati rice with some salad, pickled cabbage, and two naan on the side for $27. I liked the flavor of everything but I felt the chicken kabob and naan were a bit dry at times, so I asked for some more tzatziki sauce on the side, which they happily provided. Overall, I felt that it was somewhat pricey, but maybe that is the cost of the lamb and upkeep of the large interior. We also tried the afghani burger which had some special type of sausage (sorry can't remember), deviled egg halves, cucumber, tzatziki, and fries wrapped in a pita for $16. My sister enjoyed this dish although if we had to say something, we could have done with maybe a few more sausage pieces in it. I tried the Sip of Herat (pistachio-flavored) latte for $7 which was pretty good, the coffee flavor was strong and I did not taste the pistachio very much. We also tried the Gul-e-kabul (rose-flavored) latte for $7, both were a good coffee flavor so I would recommend this place if you are a coffee enjoyer. Overall, I would totally recommend this place as a hangout/study spot, I would like to come back to try some of the bakery items and some of the other drinks such as the mocktails.
