My wife and I, unknowingly, walked in about 2 minutes before they closed. Despite this, they were still very welcoming, helpful, and patient when explaining the different drinks and available options. Daniel even offered a sample of the Sea Salt Cream for me to try. After we paid, I tried the sample and decided that I would, in fact, like some of that delicious shit on my drink. I asked if it would be possible to add it to my drink, and even offered to pay for the addition, but he insisted it was no problem and added it anyways at no charge. I got the Latte with Boba and Sea Salt Cream and my wife got the Brown Sugar Milk Tea with Boba: Both were very good, heavy on the sweet side but we don't mind that. If you aren't a fan of sweet drinks, I would recommend asking them to lower the sweetness for you. Ordered a tea and egg puffs at 3:15 and quoted me to pick up at 4:09??? I've eaten at steak restaurants with 6 people and got my food quicker. When I did get there my food was ready and there were two other people in the store so not busy at all...my egg puffs were stale and broken and hastily shoved into a bag that the lady (owner?) tossed at me carelessly without any thank you or eye contact and I gave her a generous tip. The egg puffs were $7.50!!! Ridiculous. I've had delicious, fresh, warm egg puffs of quality for $5 or 6 tops. Prices are ridiculous, wait times absurd and services WAY below par. I read reviews on Yelp but haven't written any until now. Unfortunately, it's a negative review of a place I frequent a lot and thought it is warranted. So here's the lowdown. We placed an order from DoorDash for food delivery from T4. DoorDash delivered the order but when we checked the food, we noticed that one was missing, onion rings. So we called T4 and my friend spoke with the lady at T4 who she said that we could come and pick up the missing order of onion rings and that they'd be ready when we got there. We got in the car and drove across town just to pick up onion rings, ugh! The whole reason we ordered from DoorDash was to avoid this. When we got there, my friend spoke with the manager, Daniel, who said we'd have to take the issue up with DoorDash. WTF?! The lady on the phone said that she'd have our order ready when we got there. We showed him the DoorDash order which clearly stated that we had ordered 12 items. We also showed him that the stickers that they put on their orders only went up to 11 ie. 1 of 11, 2 of 11, etc. Somehow, they managed to only make 11 out of the 12 items we ordered. He told us that he remembers putting the onion rings in bags with our order which is obvious an error on his part since that was the item that was missing. I'm sure he could easily retrieve the order info and see that the onion ring weren't in the order and never made but he didn't even try. My gripes are: 1) They messed up the order and then didn't even make the slightest attempt to make it right. 2) The lady on the phone said that they'd have our missing order of onion rings ready when we got there. If they had no intention of making the onion rings, why did they say this and waste our time and gas driving across town to pick it up?!?! They should've just told us up front that we should take up the issue with DoorDash. 3) Lack of Customer Service. And this really gets me! Daniel didn't honor what his employee said to us (she'd have our missing onion rings ready when we got there). He didn't make the onion rings for us full well knowing we'd be there to pick them up. He'd rather risk his relationship with long time customers over an order of onion rings. He didn't see the value of 'making it right'. Regardless of who made the error, T4 or DoorDash, being a business owner, you'd think they'd make it right with the customer and deal with DoorDash themselves over the disconnect. (The disconnect will have to be addressed anyway or these failures will continue.) When things go right, that's how it should be but when they go wrong, that is when good customer service makes all of the difference and it's when they can either shine or crash and burn. Epic Fail this time around. I can only hope that Daniel steps up to the bat and makes things right in the future for his customers. This all being said, this T4's products are top notch. The Boba drinks and food are all tasty. The wait to get drinks and food is lengthy so if you're expecting fast service, take this into consideration. I don't mind waiting so this really didn't bother me much. In response to Daniels post to Tiffany N. I don't think that Daniel realizes that multiple people heard the phone conversation along with the lady saying that the onion rings would be ready when we got there. It's laughable that he's still not taking responsibility and totally glossing over the fact that he said that he packed the onion rings himself and know they were in the bag for delivery and that's not true. His inability to put himself in the shoes of the customer to understand the inconvenience imposed is unfathomable. I'll help him out a bit. When a person orders for delivery, they aren't expecting to have to drive themselves to the store to pick up missing items that the store has forgotten to pack for delivery. And regardless of whether or not the kitchen was shutdown, he could've done any number of things to make it right but he chose to do nothing. It's pretty clear in his response that he has no intention of providing any sort of customer service. A real shame. read more

Absolutely the BEST boba in Livermore, no arguments. Not only do they have the most diverse menu, but they have the best options for parking, the best service, location and food as well. You really can't go wrong here. Another lovely perk is that they are open till 9pm. My boyfriend and I went here last night because we were both thinking how good boba sounded at that moment. My absolute favorite drink there is the elegant rose tea with 30% sweet (It's still very sweet, so 30% is perfect) and 80% ice. Gets me every time. :) The girl helping us was also super nice as well. I ordered a large iced Jasmine/green tea with Lychee jelly and my sister ordered a side of boba for my nephew (he loves the boba). My drink came out wrong, they added the side order of boba into my drink by mistake. No biggie. I kindly told the man that it was incorrect, he took it back, dumped out the boba and gave me back my drink 75% full! Yes. It had 25% of the drink missing. When I asked him why my drink was not full to the top his reply was "it's like that because your ordered the boba on the side".! My sister always orders her drinks AND a side of boba, never had an issue before today. I payed for a side of boba, they made a mistake by adding it to an existing drink, and I have to pay full price for a large drink with 25% of the drink missing? Please someone help it make sense?!?! Their popcorn chicken and jasmine milk tea are my wife and my guilty pleasure. I've tried their earl grey milk tea which is still pretty fragrant at 50% sweet. My wife, who likes things on the sweeter side, usually goes with 80%. The boba itself is consistently good (never had anything too hard or too clumpy). We've tried their fried tofu, fries and ramen and everything tastes good, especially for a tea shop. Maybe my only gripe is that they have started charging extra for dipping sauces. I'm sure there was a reasonable explanation behind the change (customers being wasteful or costs of business going up) but it just seems a little crazy to charge me extra money for sweet chili sauce with my popcorn chicken. I'll still be back based on the consistent quality on offer and would recommend this shop if you are in the area. read more

This place definitely changed and deserves more stars than my previous review. Drinks are more consistent, customer service is amazing, cleanliness is on point. Sometimes the music is a bit too loud though, they sometimes take a bit longer than they should, and the food prices are a bit high as well so -1 star for those. The owners are super friendly ! I don't understand how an establishment can be so quick to force customers to wear masks when the employee that had previous kicked me out for not wearing a mask had her mask down in the back, along with her male coworker who was frying food. I gave T4 another try during COVID, and have found a drink that I did like. I also like their toppings as well. The line is not as bad right now, so drinks are made faster. The main person i interacted with was very nice and helpful to make suggestions. There are signs everywhere to wear masks and social distance. They aren't letting customers use the customer bathroom. They send you to the Round Table on the opposite corner of the mall. I ordered a drink + lychee jelly and they forgot to enter the lychee jelly so when they gave me the drink with no lychee jelly I asked if they could give me a scoop on the side that I could add to my drink and they said only if I paid $.50 for it. They messed up my order, they should have just comped me the lychee jelly to make up for it. Won't be back. read more

She told me this weird rule where if it is more than an hour after the order, i need to bring the physical receipt and food. I offered to take picture of the food and send it, because driving 30 minutes for $6 refund does not make sense to me, especially because i double checked with the staff when i picked up the food and was told that it is honey popcorn chicken. Bring it home, and it was NOT honey popcorn chicken and just the regular one. I tried calling, nobody picked up, so we just ate first and then i called again. I explained the situation. The person who picked up the phone did not apologize for the incident and kept on interrogating me as if I AM THE ONE THAT MADE THE MISTAKE. Then she told me that in order to get the refund for the mistake that they made (and remind you, i wasnt asking for the refund for the whole order, just the honey popcorn chicken), i would need to bring in the wrong food and the receipt, that i was NOT given btw, in order to get the refund. Im really really really sad about this incident and sad that i will be losing a store that was dear to me for many many years. Hi, I went to T4 today looking to have a pleasant experience. The "manager" was extremely rude and unpleasant. Safe to say I won't be back since the way we were treating was inconsiderate. She rudely told me I couldn't use the restroom, when I wasn't aware it was for employees only. Then our drink was made incorrectly I asked her if she can fix it and she demanded that "this is the way we make it". My sister has been a loyal customer here since it has opened its establishment. The other lady she was working with was super sweet and helped us. She re-made our drink and we walked away somewhat satisfied. We won't be back until this issue gets resolved, as my sister loves T4 and was extremely excited to take me there for the first time. The manager clearly doesn't care about the customers complaint since no issues get resolved and he continues to justify his employees actions. read more

I placed a $50 order with drinks and food. One of the drinks we received was incorrect, when I asked for the drink to be remade, I was told that the owner doesn't allow staff to remake drinks. On average these drinks are $5 each, the cost of the ingredients and cup is less than 50 cents. This is a terrible policy to have, I will not be returning. Any other establishment, would have no problem remaking the drink to keep a happy customer. Considering my allergy is a disability, the discrimination is very real. Take your business to some other boba place. I mentioned MANY times that I have a severe nut allergy to both the employee and owner/manager. I never said I had a dairy allergy, that makes so sense considering I was ordering a milk tea. My kids and I ordered 6 drinks and one of them was Mango smoothie with sprinkles. They made a mistake, instead of correcting their mistake they just put 4 spoonful of sprinkles. Great place. Great customer service. I ordered ahead through yelp and when I arrive the food was just coming out, so great timing. The fish and chips are crispy and well seasoned. The fries were flavorful, well seasoned well and and seemed fresh. The portion was 2 pieces of deep fried crispy outside and light and fluffy fish inside maybe a cod? not sure but it was good. I'd definitely return and try the other items in the menu. It a place where you bring a friend to eat good fresh food. My Husband liked his mango tea. My coffee had a powdered chocolate that just never dissolved. It was weird and the more I stirred it the more it tasted only like powdered chocolate and not coffee but it still didn't dissolve. So I never finished and that was a waste of money. I'd go back for the chicken but not the coffee. It's loud inside cause a lot of people are playing games, it was hard to place an order when people next to the register are yelling or talking loud. This is an excellent tea shop with high quality Taiwanese tea. I have gone here regularly for the past few months and I have always been impressed by the service and cleanliness. I love the lemon winter melon with lychee and the passionfruit tea. My partner loves the oolong milk tea with pearls. Don't listen to the negativity -- this is the best boba tea place in Livermore. And honestly, if you read the negative reviews, most of them sound super entitled... People are just mad they have to wear masks and keep their dogs outside. read more

We needed forks for noodles we had bought from somewhere else and hadn't realized we weren't given any utensils When I kindly asked the T4 worker for some forks, she offered CHOPSTICKS (yes, we're Asian but...).i was dumbfounded bc I told specifically FORKS for noodles. She then scrounged around under the register looking for forks. She finally found some then asked me "what do you need them for??? We usually ONLY give them to our customers who order OUR noodles!"
