100% 10/10 every time. Sofia has been sweet everytime we visit here wether it was my dad and i or my mom and i. Their thai iced tea is my favorite! Their spring rolls & peanut sauce...divine!! Pad Thai is sooo tasty and a huge portion. Come hungry!

We were craving some Vietnamese food and we stumbled upon this place. It looked chill, plenty of seats, we were seated right away. We ordered BBH and a chicken and rice plate. All the food was okay. Prices were also what we expect of Livermore. The only drawback here are the diner seats can be small for bigger people. You can't move the chairs or tables. They do have bigger tables but they only had I don't remember, 2 or 3. Just FYI.

My fiancé and I were craving something soupy after a long day so we decided to try Viet Noms. The service was super quick, and the servers were very kind. I really liked the booth seating inside the restaurant. It was also very clean. Next to a lot of other businesses but still a lot of parking in the lot. The noodles were $15 for regular, $17 for large. I got the Pho Bo, which you get 3 meats of your choice which is what caught my attention because I usually only eat specific cuts. I opted for a large, got tripe, beef balls and tai (rare steak) and would say that the noodles to meat ratio was tremendously uneven. There were 4 half/2 whole meatballs, 5 half/2.5 whole slices of rare steak, and maybe 5 slices of tripe. The broth is served super hot, which could both good and bad, bad because the rare steak gets overcooked super fast so I'd recommend to skip the rare steak as it's gets tough when it's overcooked. The broth was just ok, not flavorful enough to want a sip with every bite and certainly not enough for me to want to drink soup after finishing everything else. My fiancé got the BBH and said it was just ok. He was not a fan and rated it a 3/5 as well. Not sure that we'd have Viet Noms again, considering there are better options out there but it was worth a try.

Delicious food. The chicken salad was a balance of flavors and texture, I liked that it had a little crunch. The Banh Khot was scrumptious with its crispy edges and soft center! The seafood pho was loaded with shrimp, calamari, and fish balls in a light, aromatic broth that didn't skimp on flavor. The vibe of the place is casual but cute, and service was quick and friendly. Great for a chill lunch or a dinner with friends. If you're looking for bold flavors, affordable eats, and a refreshing take on Vietnamese classics -- this is the spot!

We were looking for somewhere different to eat while in town shopping at the outlets. We were craving bhan mi. We yelped a few places and took a chance on this restaurant. Wow! My daughter loved their pork bhan mi! She said the flavor of the meat itself was delicious! And the bread, crispy and soft! I opted for the chicken bun. The grillled chicken had a good smoky, grilled flavor. The noodles and veggies were fresh and yummy! The service was spot on! Constantly making sure we had everything we need. The restaurant itself was a good size, clean and you can tell they keep it maintained pretty well! We're looking forward to coming back the next time we're in town to try their pho! Stay tuned!

Very tasty pho and ample servings. I always get large and it can be shared by two people. The salad roll with shrimp is a little dry though.

Nice clean place. Banh Khot - good but the batter is literally Banh Xeo batter, imo. Thit Nuong cuon - ok. No mints/herbs whatsoever. V food is all about the mints/herbs. Com suong nuong - ok. Steamed egg loaf is on the dry side.

Been wanting to try Viet Noms so we decided to stop by after dropping off some items to the Goodwill next door. There is a large parking lot but it's shared with multiple businesses so you may need to park a bit further and walk. I had to circle around a few times to find a spot. Restaurant was busy and we got seated right away. I ordered the bun rieu (tomato crab noodle soup with prawns) and the banh khot (mini kettle cakes). The presentation was beautiful and it was a good amount of food. Banh khot - 4/5 super crispy edges and I really liked the chewy texture in the middle. I couldn't really taste the scallion oil though Bun rieu - 3.5/5 crab & pork broth was bland and there were only two pieces of the crab/pork dumplings so that was a bit disappointing. I've had a better version of this in Pleasanton

Food portions were generous and looks appetizing. Got the chicken salad Goi Ga which was huge! Crispy and refreshing, chicken was moist 4/5. Bun Bo Hue was also huge and generous. Doesn't have pork blood in it and the sliced beef was so tender it broke apart once it hit the teeth. The soup flavor was basic with nothing standing out saying yes this hits the spot. 3/5. Service was on point, always checked in on us, made sure we had water topped. Also got the Bun pork vermicelli bowl. The charr flavor was sensational in the noodles and the pork. It was missing the honey glaze to give it that extra shine or sweetness 3/5. I think all the dishes have potential to be exceptional. Every dish seemed like it was missing some flavor.

Every now and then, my wife and I still make the pilgrimage to Sai's to see our friends and enjoy a meal. This night we ordered: Asparagus Prawns - 5 - When the ingredients are fresh and you know what you're doing, the resulting dishes will be delicious. My wife is particular about her asparagus, too skinny is not acceptable. It has to be medium to fat, and of course, not woody. I'm more particular about my prawns. I can't stand overcooked seafood! Bitter Melon Chicken - 5 - Bitter Melon can be soaked in water to remove some of the bitterness before cooking. Then you want to cook it so it's no longer crunchy but not so much that it's mushy. Sai's always does a great job with it when it's in season. Oyster Pancakes - 4 - A slight downgrade because of the size of the oysters. Maybe I'm simply greedy but I want more! On the other hand, the egg was well seasoned, tasty and not overcooked. Sesame Balls - 5 - These were fried a little darker than usual but that just makes the sesame flavor pop! A great way to finish off a meal here at Sai's.

Vietnamese restaurants are ubiquitous in the Bay Area, making it difficult to find places that really hit the spot. No fancy castle or horse-drawn carriage here, but I like how casual the inside of the restaurant is. The Princess and the Pea walked so we could run because there are a handful of comfortable seating arrangements. The interior leans more modern while still paying homage to traditional Vietnamese decor. Pho is great and all, but the Three Little Bears have found a new dish that's neither too hot nor too cold -- Bo Ne. Bo Ne is one of my favorite Vietnamese dishes, and it's hard to find places that serve it. Even fewer places do it just right, making me feel like Goldilocks. I love the banh mi that comes with the Bo Ne because it has a thin, crunchy, flaky crust with a fluffy, soft inside that absorbs the sauce perfectly. The steak was tender and paired perfectly with the pâté, giving you that satisfying flavor that constantly has you reaching for more. Once you place your order, the food comes out super fast. No Big Bad Wolf here to blow your wallet down because the prices are affordable and the portions are large. Huff and puff as hard as you can, but this place is here to stay.
