    Delicious food. The chicken salad was a balance of flavors and texture, I liked that it had a little crunch. The Banh Khot was scrumptious with its crispy edges and soft center! The seafood pho was loaded with shrimp, calamari, and fish balls in a light, aromatic broth that didn't skimp on flavor. The vibe of the place is casual but cute, and service was quick and friendly. Great for a chill lunch or a dinner with friends. If you're looking for bold flavors, affordable eats, and a refreshing take on Vietnamese classics -- this is the spot!

    We were looking for somewhere different to eat while in town shopping at the outlets. We were craving bhan mi. We yelped a few places and took a chance on this restaurant. Wow! My daughter loved their pork bhan mi! She said the flavor of the meat itself was delicious! And the bread, crispy and soft! I opted for the chicken bun. The grillled chicken had a good smoky, grilled flavor. The noodles and veggies were fresh and yummy! The service was spot on! Constantly making sure we had everything we need. The restaurant itself was a good size, clean and you can tell they keep it maintained pretty well! We're looking forward to coming back the next time we're in town to try their pho! Stay tuned!

    Very tasty pho and ample servings. I always get large and it can be shared by two people. The salad roll with shrimp is a little dry though.

    This restaurant has lovely service. Never have i ever had a bad experience. Food is always top tier. Desserts are yummy. Their Thai Iced tea is so delicious i wish we could order pitchers of it lol. Highly recommend. Everything is fairly priced too.

    Nice clean place. Banh Khot - good but the batter is literally Banh Xeo batter, imo. Thit Nuong cuon - ok. No mints/herbs whatsoever. V food is all about the mints/herbs. Com suong nuong - ok. Steamed egg loaf is on the dry side.

    Been wanting to try Viet Noms so we decided to stop by after dropping off some items to the Goodwill next door. There is a large parking lot but it's shared with multiple businesses so you may need to park a bit further and walk. I had to circle around a few times to find a spot. Restaurant was busy and we got seated right away. I ordered the bun rieu (tomato crab noodle soup with prawns) and the banh khot (mini kettle cakes). The presentation was beautiful and it was a good amount of food. Banh khot - 4/5 super crispy edges and I really liked the chewy texture in the middle. I couldn't really taste the scallion oil though Bun rieu - 3.5/5 crab & pork broth was bland and there were only two pieces of the crab/pork dumplings so that was a bit disappointing. I've had a better version of this in Pleasanton

    Food portions were generous and looks appetizing. Got the chicken salad Goi Ga which was huge! Crispy and refreshing, chicken was moist 4/5. Bun Bo Hue was also huge and generous. Doesn't have pork blood in it and the sliced beef was so tender it broke apart once it hit the teeth. The soup flavor was basic with nothing standing out saying yes this hits the spot. 3/5. Service was on point, always checked in on us, made sure we had water topped. Also got the Bun pork vermicelli bowl. The charr flavor was sensational in the noodles and the pork. It was missing the honey glaze to give it that extra shine or sweetness 3/5. I think all the dishes have potential to be exceptional. Every dish seemed like it was missing some flavor.

    Livermore doesn't have a lot of pho options. This place is more consistent compared to the other places in town. The brisket was a little chewy ans the broth was darker than anticipated for being a viet restaurant. Thai ice tea is eh. It had a powdery taste for some reason, and tea wasn't black/caffeinated enough. Pro: dining inside was clean. Con: no chili oil, unless you ask for it. They also don't have pickled jalapeños you'd normally find in a viet place.

I don't generally like pork skin but I enjoyed it regardless. - Hamachi ceviche: this is a large sharing portion with chunks of hamachi and avocado. Good but not a must have. Entrees - Enchiladas: very cheesy and overall a good dish but I would skip this. - Shrimp tostadas: large size shrimp and it just comes with two tostadas so I don't think it was worth the price - Barramundi fillet: The fish was tender and juicy. I liked the marinades that came with it. I liked this dish with the rice because it made me feel homey. Good portion of fish. - Agua Chile Ribeye: This is a must have! Bar and inside dining are great, but the outdoor patio is the spot. Lovely in the sun and if it gets chilly they have heaters and blankets (nice touch with the blankets). Back to the food, it's phenomenal. Every dish well thought out with the freshest ingredients possible; elevated and executed to perfection. Pasta is perfectly al dente and has that "chew" everyone tries to get, but rarely pulls off and rarer still, as well as Range Life does it. Servers, bartenders and host make for a truly welcoming environment. A place you want to sit down; eat, drink and be merry. It's akin to being transported to a place that you'll never want to leave. To hell with Disneyland, when I win the Super Bowl, I'm coming here. I assure you if you haven't been yet, you'll be back time and time again. Consider yourself warned. Last night I went there for the 5th time. I've been there on dates and with big groups. Most of the time it has been amazing. This last meal, however, was flawless, and it inspired me to share today. First off, we did not have reservations on a Saturday night, and they were still able to get us 2 seats at the bar in 45 minutes, which was a relief. I was open to going to other downtown Livermore highlights such as Bourbon Pear or Il Campo, but was hoping on a whim we could get a seat at Range Life (which would typically require a reservation), since my date had not been there before. Once we got our seats, we were met with amazing service. At the moment I am not drinking, so I was wondering what kind of mocktails or non-alcoholic beers they had. Beforehand I was also wondering if they had a non-alcoholic aperitivo, since I know they have a lot of amaros and bitters. To my surprise, they did, so I had a non-alcoholic spritz, which was amazing. From there, we were only looking to get the highlighted entrées -- a black cod and a flat iron steak -- but we were also talked into getting one of their tartare/crudo options. We decided to go with the Amberjack crudo, which was absolutely amazing. It had mustard greens, fig leaf oil, and fresh early-season cherries, each ingredient something you were able to truly appreciate. The fig leaf oil, the fish, and the cherries were stunning, with the mustard greens providing a nice balance. From there we shared both the black cod and the grass fed flat iron steak. The flat iron steak was perfectly cooked, tender, and flavorful (despite being grassfed) that came with an amazing herb butter, mashed potatoes, and a porcini mushroom sauce that was absolutely to die for. The black cod was cooked to perfection as well -- tender, flaky, reminiscent of the butterfish I always have in Waikiki at Roy's. Accompanied by Iocopi English peas, bok choy, and turnips with dashi butter. The peas were, for what it's worth, probably the best peas I've ever had, and the vegetables were perfection. Light but amazing. The combination of both entrées was outstanding. Lastly, we had the famous Milk and Honey -- burnt honeycomb, olive oil, and malted milk ice cream. I've had it about 4 times now, and yet it was still surprisingly mind-blowing. I know something is truly amazing when I have to close my eyes and imagine the flavors bursting like a scene from the movie Ratatouille. I had to close my eyes to truly appreciate the crispy, sweet but slightly savory honeycomb, the fresh ice cream, and the olive oil for balance. The meal was absolutely flawless, and with the aperitivo, the Topo Chico, both entrées, and dessert, it came to $150 before tip. Honestly, it's a steal. I spent $300 at LB last weekend for a birthday dinner -- granted, I did get some A5 wagyu, an $80 14-ounce ribeye, a bunch of sides, and a couple of non-alcoholic drinks, which was amazing, but hardly a fair comparison. And if you go to the city or Oakland, you can easily spend $300-$500 on a meal, more if they have a Michelin star or two (or three). But for the quality you get, Range Life is an amazing deal. The fact that you can get this quality in Livermore is both convenient and remarkable.

The Wife and I have been there for a couple of Flapper Fridays, which is speakeasy night. Some drinks of that ilk can be too sweet for me, since the original speakeasies were using fruit juice or whatever to mask the awful booze they had available. But you can also order off menu. The first time we went, I ordered a carrot cake that was fantastic. The second time, we ordered bites, including a pizza flatbread, golden potatoes with different accompaniments, and of course another cheesecake. Being ignored when you walk in the door makes the place feel very unwelcoming, and it was disappointing to see multiple customers leave because of it. Too bad, we were excited to try this spot.
