I am so happy we came here for early dinner yesterday. The restaurant is clean and organized. The employees were super friendly and helpful. They were so happy we dined in which is a nice feeling. We started with fried eggrolls which was delicious. I like how they are long and aren't cut in half. I do wish they served fish sauce with the eggrolls as opposed to sweet chili sauce. I enjoyed my grilled pork chop plate, but I was hoping it would come with a sunny-side egg on top of the rice as a standard. The pork chop is pretty small too; I wish they were bigger pieces like at most Pho restaurants. Nonetheless, it was so good and paired perfectly with their house made chili oil. My wife loved her combo pho which had a nice, tasty broth, generous portions of beef and other meats, etc. Lastly, my son loved his kids rice & beef; the beef was sweet like bulgogi. I think every table should automatically have the chili oil on deck though because it enhances the flavors and just tastes delicious. If it wasn't for the employee offering us the chili, we would've never known. We had a great time and will definitely keep coming back especially since it's on the way home. From August 14 :) Food was delicious, the pho satisfied my pregnancy cravings & my fiance got got his usual rib plate with garlic noodles as well as some gyoza to share! staff was very attentive & ambiance was great as always! Went here for a quick bite. I was charging my car in the same plaza. I ordered the popcorn chicken and Thai owed tea. Everything was made to order. The popcorn chicken was quite delicious and they use real chicken and their own batter. It was very good. Not the best popcorn chicken I had before but it was a good choice. The Thai iced tea was very delicious one of better Thai iced tea I've had in the area. Definitely recommend this place for a quick bite or a casual dining experience. When in east bay it's quite difficult to find viet food, and it's even harder to find one as charming and authentic as this one! I'd say what makes them stand out is their grilled pork. We tried out several of their pork dishes. The vermicelli, the banh mi and spring rolls and they were all awesome. you won't find quality like this even if you visit south bay. i also tried the fried rice which i'm less impressed by but i'm just not a fan of the mayo flavor i tasted. outside the quality of the food i appreciated the kind and prompt service of the workers here. the energy in the room was great as well. a little viet oasis in the heart of east bay will definitely be returning! read more

The folks are super friendly. They gave us lots of attention. Very polite. The restaurant is nice and clean. The menu is clear and I love that it has photos. I like that they have lunch combos. They have a vegetarian section and a kids menu. And they also have boba. I ordered: Tofu Spring Roll - 2 giant rolls with fried tofu and a hint of pickled veggies. Delish with their peanut sauce. Grilled Pork Banh Mi - the pork has a nice grilled flavor. Easy to bite into. Crisp yet chewy bread. Great sandwich. Came by for dinner with friends after work, and I ordered my usual dish. It was their first time here. Finally tried ovaians one of the shops in the vasco center i hadn't tried yet. My son and I went to lunch, been wanting to try this place because they have a sizzling steak platter similar to the one I used to have at a great viet Cafe in San jose and sorry to say it didn't live up to my expectations oddly enough it lacked flavor which is hard to do with viet food, my son had the chicken and rice and said it was great which is why I gave them 4 stars instead of 3. Good lunch spot. Whenever I am craving some pho during work, I usually come here. Food here is consistently good and the service here is wonderful. Their springs rolls are always fresh and good in portion. The chicken pho is not bad but sometimes the chicken may taste a little try. Standard beef pho is good. Five stars! The supercharger brought me to this place and I had about four food options to choose from including grabbing a quick Starbucks. Thank God I went with this choice! I was craving something light, but feeling. I ordered the bahn mi sandwich with a fresh spring rolls and a mango smoothie. The mango smoothie was a bit icy, but the Boba was very good not hard at all. All the vegetables in my sandwich and fresh spring rolls were fresh and crisp! We had a family group of 12+ people for dinner last night, and I can honestly say the experience was outstanding. The staff was incredible--friendly, attentive, and constantly checking on our table. Everyone was joking with us and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. For a group our size, I was amazed by the level of service. Empty plates disappeared almost immediately, drinks were always refilled, and we never felt forgotten. The food was excellent. Every meal came out hot, fresh, and surprisingly fast considering how large our party was. Not a single person in our group had a complaint. The appetizers were fantastic, and every dish looked and tasted great. I'm pretty sure we put a dent in their beer inventory, yet the service never slowed down. That's a testament to how well the staff works together. If you're planning a birthday party, graduation celebration, family gathering, or any event with a large group, this is the place to go. There's a few things I miss from the old ownership, but there's a lot to love, including new foods! This place has top notch salt and pepper wings and pork egg rolls. They are SO good I keep coming back and ordering them! I also love that you can now sub garlic rice or garlic noodles for any rice dish. It may not be authentic, but when you're REALLY hungry, the grilled pork with egg rolls and garlic noodles are INCREDIBLE. I miss the upscale atmosphere and classy dishes of the old OvAsians. I miss having a quiet lemongrass sea bass plate at lunch while my husband got the yellow curry -- the space always felt very refined. It doesn't so much anymore, the food is a little heavier, a little oilier and more garlicky, and they've dropped those dishes and a few others. BUT the trade off was garlic noodles, better egg rolls, more filling and in some cases more flavorful dishes. They now have more American items on the kids menu. The service is still outstanding and the to-go orders are probably even faster. And I can't recommend the new egg noodles soups enough. Especially the Chinese dish wonton noodle soup, with the Vietnamese flavors. read more

I was not able to get photos because I was so excited to eat. I was greeted and sat very quickly, I went on a less busy afternoon. I was taken care of very well, they made sure my water was always full and that I was always enjoying my meal. I got a build your own pho, and I will say the broth is so rich and delicious. It has so much body that you can tell how much care is put into making the broth. I also got egg rolls, they have the traditional fish sauce but also the sweet and sour dipping sauce. Left month my husband ordered the beef vermicelli plate (as well as others for our family, but I'll tell you about the food from my POV). Delicious! So I ordered again yesterday and today, this time a rice plate for work. With egg rolls. So effing good! The meat they use is ribeye and it was cooked perfectly. So juicy. Ordering on the phone is perfect as long as you have the menu in front of you. They answered any questions you have perfectly. Also ordered the avocado smoothie yesterday and man, this reminds me of the Vietnamese restaurants I used to frequent in San Jose. I'm so glad they're close by. I don't have to drive so far! Great service and great food. Only 2 ladies working and they were nice and attentive. After ordering my appetizer first, Fried Egg Rolls, she came back and took my entree order. Both came out to my table at the same time. That was quick for my entree. The egg rolls were hot and delicious. The pickled carrots were a great touch to add flavor with the sauce. The shaking beef, was tender and easy to chew. The mushrooms were flavorful, wasn't too big a fan of the onions. I also got the, Iced Coffee Float. Warning.. the coffee is strong, but the drink had the right amount of sweetness thanks to the foam. The ambiance was nothing special. 2 TVs and their bar where they made all their boba and coffee drinks was visible from any table. This was my 2nd time. I will be back. read more

Ordered the vegetarian pho via phone and it was ready quite quickly! I ordered a small but when I received it, it looked rather large. The broth was delicious and flavorful and the entire dish was well put together and tasted yummy! I ate the whole thing, slurping my way through as well! The people in the restaurant (guy at the register and lady who handed me my food) were friendly and the lady was also considerate as she also packed in some sauce packets, napkins, chopsticks, spoon, and fork!
