My friend and I went thrifting next door and stumbled upon this place! We both thought it was T4, but I guess it's a new establishment now. Super clean and lots of tables for seating. Menu had a huge variety with familiar snacks like popcorn chicken, garlic fries, and sweet potato fries. There's refreshing teas, cloud series, smoothies, and milk teas available. Staff is nice! They offered free tea packets with fruity flavors like passion green tea just to try. I got the Oolong Milk Tea with boba at regular sweet, while my friend got the Mango Cloud with boba. For snacks, we shared the sweet potato fries and popcorn chicken. Popcorn chicken tasted similar as T4 with the basil, but lots of flavor! You can ask for cayenne powder and salt and pepper on the side. Sweet Potato Fries were crunchy and soft. The verdict was they gave a generous amount of food and it was tasty. However, the drinks were decent. I didn't taste much of an oolong tea flavor in the milk tea -- even at 100% sweet. Boba was only a bit soft & chewier than my liking, but had a nice flavor though! I did enjoy my friend's mango cloud, which was just fresh milk with mango puree. It was super yummy / not too sweet and would pair well with a matcha latte to be honest. This used to be T4 and now it is Li Cha Tea. I tried it for the first time today since the change. I visited around 1 pm on a weekday so it wasn't busy and I was able to immediately go up to the cashier. She was super nice and helpful asking me what tea base (Royal, Jasmine or Black) I wanted for the Almond Milk tea. She also helped answer my many questions, finding out for me, which tea had the less caffeine (Royal tea base) and which tea flavor matched the Almond the best (Jasmine tea base). And so we went with the Jasmine. I was very happy with how helpful they were! She also asked me if I needed a new stamp card which I did, so I was also really happy about that. This is because in my head I reminded myself to ask for a stamp card but from the time I parked up until my many questions and paying, you know this Mama had brain fog and forgot about getting my stamps! I also ordered the matcha milk tea, and with both drinks we got less sweet so 30% less sweet. 30 percent less sweet ended up being very effective as the level of sweetness was quite subtle. The boba was perfecto- sweet and chewy The inside is nice and clean! Also the bathroom was clean as well and had a credenza inside so you could set any bags down. I think out of all the T4 locations, this is my favorite one for quality and good service. It's about a 30 min drive for me, 2 cities over... but worth to me getting my favorite popcorn chicken and white peach lemonade. Parking here is fairly easy, there's always open spots. The free drink upgrade from first check in isn't redeemable (just to note per employee taking my order). Since T4 is a restaurant and my dog is not a service dog (sign or no sign), I didn't want to carry him in just so I can get my boba... demeans the jobs of trained service dogs. Normally I hate leaving my dog in the car without me there... but since I was already here and parked in sight (from within the restaurant) - I felt a few minutes wouldn't hurt with the windows cracked opened in the shade on a nice day (sat in the car a bit to make sure the baby wouldn't get hot quick). The employee taking my order helped me get everything ordered quick and even gave me a little cup of water to give to my pup, which I ended up sitting outside with him to wait for my order. Once my order was ready, the employee waved at me to let me know that I can run in (pup in a car again) to grab it. I definitely felt a irresponsible on my end, but since I drove out here...I really wanted the drink and a snack. There are rushes that come from to time, but drinks are made swiftly and with only 1 person running the front (looks to be an older man in the back) - everything is made within good time. The last visit, right after I ordered, there was a rush from the dance studio that probably just let out of class. I give them props for that. With some indoor seating, it's nice that we can sit and just chat with our snacks/drinks. The popcorn chicken here is my favorite as it's spiced very well - heavy on the pepper which is my preference. With the dipping sauce of a garlic aioli (extra $1.50), it goes perfect with the crispy hearty chicken. I don't ever see the white peach lemonade at other T4s - the only reason I'd drive out here for this specific shop. With sweet levels at 80% and 100% ice, it's the perfect refreshing balance of a drink to me. Final Thoughts: I only wish this T4 wasn't so out of the way for me, but whenever I'm in the area...it's a must to stop by here. With only 2 employees taking care of the shop (at least for my last visit), the service I give them 10 out of 10. read more

My partner and I always visit this T4 location since it's one of the few places in Livermore that have good boba. I like it here because the flavors are always consistent, so I always know what to expect. Like other T4 locations, they have a great variety of drinks and snack selections on the menu all at decently affordable prices. My typical order here is the Wintermelon Tea topped with Sea Salt Cream. My most recent visit, the sea salt cream was actually wayyy saltier than what I was used to and could've been a lot lighter IMO. But, mixing it with the rest of the drink made it easier. Service is friendly and drinks come out pretty quickly. Lots of parking in the plaza that it's located in too. Note: they tend to get super busy around the time the schools around the area finish for the day so plan your visit accordingly! An overdue review for T4 Livermore's boba bar services! Okay, hear me out, boba snobs of the Bay. I know T4 isn't the hippest thing on the block anymore in terms of boba. But they made my wedding boba bar dreams come true WITHIN my budget!! Their team was so awesome with communication and was such a big hit for us. We repeatedly had people tell us that the boba bar was one of the best parts of our wedding. (The 110ºF weather may or may not have also had something to do with it...) Our boba bar came with our choice of four teas (Earl Grey milk tea, matcha milk tea, roasted oolong tea, and passion fruit royal tea) and three toppings (boba, coffee jelly, and lychee jelly). Our guests were able to choose which teas and toppings they wanted, which was the exact experience I wanted (versus buying a bunch of premade drinks and just handing them out). I ordered via DoorDash, so I cannot attest to the wait or how they are handling Covid situations. Earl Grey MT: This is very consistent for me. At 50% sweet, it still was sweet enough for me without being overwhelming. I truly enjoy this drink. 5/5 Tofu Bowl: Now, I don't know if it's because of something before I started eating this, but after I started, my body felt really weird. There was too much pepper on the tofu and some very distinct sauce that I am not too familiar with. Unfortunately, as I kept eating, it did not get better for me. My stomach was very upset at the end of the meal. I get a bit nauseous and it was difficult for me to keep working. I don't know what it is, but I just couldn't really stomach down what I ate. 3.5 stars, Ordered first time through Yelp on 7/19, When I got there I was greeted and they made sure to check my Yelp for the order pick-up. The Takayaki was made so good, perfectly cooked with just the right amount of mayo, takoyaki sauce and dried Bonito flakes. I also ordered the oolong milk tea 30% ice/50%sweetness. You can taste the tea and it was just the right amount of sweetness and milk for me. Second day, 7/20 I had to call in my order because Yelp order didn't work and kept saying the store was taking orders at this time or was closed. I got the takoyaki again , but this time it was lacking the mayo! So it wasn't as good. Was bummed out that this place wasn't consistent as the Walnut creek location takoyaki is always on point every single order. I tried the winter melon milk tea as well, first place to allow me to get 30% sweetness, usually they have a minimum of 70% for this flavor. I'm glad they let me do 30%, anymore than that i wouldn't be able to drink it because The winter melon at this location does have that cereal milk taste. And that's the reason I dislike the T4 location at San Leandro on 14th.. The jasmine milk tea was good here, I was able to taste the tea. I got it with 50% sweetness and 30% ice. I would definitely come back, next time I'll just have to double check the takoyaki and ask them to add more sauce if needed. The girls here were all really friendly. I don't know how many times I've been here, but I think the family that takes care of this T4 location does a fantastic job! My usual is a 30% Iced Okinawa milk tea with grass jelly or boba or pudding, but if I want hot drink I'll order the 'out of the ordinary' Osmanthus oolong tea. Zero sugar. Why? Idk, its probably because it has a natural bitter sweetness and fragrance that calms me. OR maybe I get osmanthus because not many people like it. When I've been indecisive, the family and staff usually recommend something good. And they don't seem to give me any dirty looks when I just stand there. At least I don't think they do lol. They can also toast up some soft crispy egg puffs, or flash fry everyone's favorite, THE popcorn chicken. I just wish they'd add more basil (my only complaint). Versus the madhouse T4 Dublin location, this one also has it's fair share of rowdy kids but for the most part they don't bother me. Their San Ramon location can also get crammed and busy as well. Over here they have about seven clean good sized tables. That also makes for less congestion too. And as far as the restroom, they seem well taken care of. With having exceptional service and less foot traffic, being clean and serving satisfying tea drinks; this T4 has become my preferred local boba spot. read more

Other people around heard when I ordered a Taro drink and they made a mistake and ON TOP OF THAT they told me I was stupid and should check the register screen because it is my responsibility to check for accuracy. When I asked for an exchange of my 8 dollar drink he grumbled and threw it aggressively. He then gave me an extra sweet drink when I asked for 30 percent sweetness because I am diabetic. I will NEVER come back to this place. Be prepared to be insulted and disappointed in the horrible quality of your drink and service. I used to like this place, but now I will never come back here. This is a cute Boba tea spot that's located next to Ofelia's Kitchen. It's a small place that's pretty chic and trendy. They have an abundance of milk teas, classic fruit teas, meal bowls, ramen (claims to be the best in town) and snacks. I went with the Thai milk tea with boba and an order of popcorn chicken. The Thai tea wasn't too bad, but a little too sweet for my taste. You do have the option of reducing the sweetness level and adding or reducing the amount of ice. Overall, not a bad drink. The popcorn chicken comes with a side of different sauces to choose from, which is great because options make the experience much better. The popcorn chicken had a light and fluffy batter; crunchy and flaky on the outside and juicy in the outside. Also, the batter is seasoned and comes with a mild spicy kick! Livermore doesn't seem to have many milk tea places so T4 hit the spot. So many snacks! I ended up ordering 7 drinks and 7 snacks! Some of the food was to go. I think it was the manager that took my order and he recommended getting the potted milk tea when I asked about Oreo drinks. He also said they can add Oreos to any drink (blended/topped). Potted milk tea is basically just a standard drink with finely crushed Oreos up top, like a pot of soil! Cool. I've had chocolate pudding cups with that and a gummy worm before, but not a milk tea. Service was accommodating, informative-- overall, nice and helpful. I got an Okinawa milk tea with boba and grass jelly, 50% sweet, regular ice. Quenched my thirst! The other drinks included: jasmine MT, honey peach royal tea, Thai tea, strawberry tea. They give so many pearls here! Must've been 2 inches worth. Snacks: 2 basil popcorn chicken, 4 fried tofu, French fries. Portion is big and prepared after ordering. Weird how they print your whole name on the labels if using CC. Visited this past weekend after a long walk around Livermore. I ordered a tall, oolong boba and was surprised at how quickly I received my order given the place was very busy. Went here today and was very disappointed! We often go here to get our milk tea but I guess this will be the last. We wanted to cool down cause we just finished biking while my daughter, mom and our little dog went hiking. We took our dog inside to cool down since it was 88 degrees outside and didn't want to leave her in a hot car. We were about to order when the cashier told my husband "you have to take your dog outside,dog is not allowed inside our store". We were flabbergasted, there was only one person in that store and five of us (my family). There was no sign outside that they're not allowing dogs inside their establishment, and we didn't think that they'r are that heartless to let a 7 pounds dog to sit in a hot hot weather outside or in a hot hot car. Over all, I think of people who are kind to animals have a good heart, certainly none in this establishment have it. We've been to the nicest restaurant and they welcome our dog and even offer water for her. T4 just lost 5 customers and will not recommend them to our friends. I salute you for apparently knowing the codes and state laws, obviously you're not updated though. The nice restaurants that my family goes to, they don't have a patio, and no they don't ignore the health code. And yes they're an upscale restaurant who cares about their customers pet, because they're not just pets, they're considered family. When you mentioned that the furry friends of your customer patiently wait outside of your establishment, is that on a hot hot weather? And my goodness gracious, thank you for being so nice to give water free of charge, I sure do hope so that it's free. Don't you think it would be nice to ask if they needed water instead of waiting for owners if they want water for their pets? Just to be nice even if they say no to your offer? now let me start off by saying I've been going here ever since I was a sophomore in highschool (im in college now) and the quality of this place has never changed! the owner daniel and his employees are so friendly and patient it amazes me! there are two schools located near this shop, a middle school and high school, and when school is over all the kids flock over here like fruit flies....not to bash anybody because I was one of those kids before too but some of them can be kinda noisy! and I know how overwhelming it can get with all of the online orders as well so kudos to the entire t4 livermore team because they get shit done. I haven't tried their entire menu obviously but from the various things i've had, everything has been absolutely delicious! now I recognize t4 is a chain boba shop but trust me, the one in livermore is top notch. I've been to other t4's in the bay area and it's just not the same....idk what it is about this place but the flavor of the tea is just so good! the snacks are also amazing, the curly fries and popcorn chicken taste so fresh! The rating is for the tea itself. We ordered different teas but the general consensus was that noone liked the tea. It was lacking in the depth, taste and flavor.
