    Fried shrimp cakes

Was looking for a pho spot and this one seemed the most established. Plus, didn't want to support Joe's Pho after reading about their history of mistreating their staff at the San Leandro location (overworked, wage theft, illegal eviction). This place definitely hit the spot! Ordered the special which only comes in extra large but what a deal! Beef was nicely rare, food came out quickly, and broth was flavorful. I couldn't finish but ended up taking the broth home. The fried cakes were also very good. Came out hot with a nice crisp texture and plenty of shrimp. Only bizarre moment was that they originally had us seated by the door and indoor plant. The plant was touching our heads on one side of the table and the door had cold air leaking through it on the other side. There were plenty of other open tables so not sure why they seated us there. We ended up requesting another table. Aside from that, the food was excellent. You go up to the counter to pay afterwards. There's a reason why this place has been around for so long.

BEST PHO IN THE AREA!!! Broth is so flavorful and restaurant is so authentic. You simply cannot beat these prices in this area anymore either. I will definitely be back to try other items.

Yeah. $15 bucks for the x-large combo bowl. You can't beat that! I was legit full after throwing down this bowl of comfort food goodness. There was clearly more than enough cow for me. The meatballs were notably delicious. No complaints from me on this item. My recommendation to the viewing public: Avoid A4 - cha gio/the Vietnamese fried egg rolls. The filling was lackluster. The crunch was good but there was something remotely artificial about them. Maybe the egg rolls were frozen? I don't know. I won't be order these anymore.

I've been to this restaurant many times with my family and friends, and it's always packed! It's one of the better places nearby for Vietnamese pho. The staff are nice, and the pho is really good

SO THANKFUL I FOUND THIS SPOT. Just moved to the area and was looking for a good pho spot nearby. I used to live right next to a popular one in the east bay and have been dying for good pho. We came for lunch and were immediately greeted and seated. Service was excellent! So quick and sooo friendly :) Food was perfect and just what we needed. They give huge portions too! 10/10, no notes, must try.

An extremely delicious and consistent pho spot is Pho Saigon City. First time I spotted in and I'll be back easy. What a great spot by far. 10/10 will repeat. The service is fast and the place looks exactly as it should. Solid spot!

I came here on a Friday for lunch it was very busy. We had a conjoined table and we sat with another party which we didn't really enjoy. The staff was not very attentive at all... we had to get up twice to grab napkins and when we asked for to go boxes the server scoffed at us... The meat to soup ratio was great and the broth was delicious.

Decided to try this place out tonight and it was so tasty and I was in and out within 30 minutes! We walked in and were immediately seated. We got the fresh vegetable spring rolls with peanut sauce which were so tasty and fresh!! We ended up ordered another order of them. We also got the small #6 and the beef spicy noodle soup. Both were delicious and the perfect portion size. I tried the thai tea as well which was rich but a little on the sweeter side. The food came out immediately and the staff was very nice. The restaurant itself was very spacious and clean. Lots of room for seating and you don't feel overwhelmed or crowded. Will definitely be back for more!!

It's partially raining! Must mean we go get pho! Thankfully, there's pho Saigon city that's about a 5min drive from where we are and one of the oldest pho establishments in Dublin. And for good reason too. Arriving around 10:30am, it wasn't as busy compared to their typical lunch rush. We were seated right away and ordered the chicken pho, beef combination pho, and the shredded pork spring roll. Everything came out piping hot and fresh! All of the pho comes with a side dish of your typical bean sprouts, mint leaves, cilantro, basil, and slices of lime. On the side, is a variety of condiments like hoisin sauce, chili sauce, sriracha, etc. Overall, we came hungry and left incredibly full. It's the reason why pho Saigon city has lasted so long here in Dublin. Highly recommend!

Haven't been here for years and we felt that it's not as good as before . The combo noodle was XL but only the noodle was a lot. Didn't feel that there was enough meat. There was supposed to be rare steak but we didn't see any. Everything was well done The grilled chicken and shrimp rice plate had so little meat too! Not worth the price at all. The best was the ice coffee- strong and sweet enough Service was quick. But for the price and value, not sure we will come back .

Pho Saigon City is one of the better pho restaurants in the tri-city area. The interior is a classic Vietnamese, no frills set up. We've ordered on Door Dash before but prefer eating in-person- the to-go portions seem much smaller. I would order the chicken pho again. The broth is clear and light and the noodles have the right texture- with the fried onions? Really good. The chicken is a bit dry, but not the worst. Get a side of meatballs for $3 because they're great. On the other hand, I'm not a big fan of the beef pho broth- but my boyfriend doesn't mind it. Definitely try the chicken pho here!

First time trying Pho Saigon City. I went on a Sunday at 12:00pm. I ordered the #8 large. The service was fast, and the place was packed. We were seated immediately. The Pho was decent. The seats weren't the best. One of mine lacked cushion, so it was a bit painful to sit. For the price though, I think this place is really good for the value. My bowl was about $14. The restaurant was clean and the parking outside is abundant. I may come back again.

My bf and I came an hour before closing and it was packed, but were able to get a seat as soon as we walked in. They have plenty of seating for large groups or smaller parties. The food here never disappoints! Ordered the large rare beef pho with extra beef on the side, the shrimp spring rolls and the fried potstickers. The pho is the best I've ever had. The broth is flavorful and seasoned to perfection. The soup is packed with meat and noodles. The spring rolls are fresh, the ingredients they use really make a difference in quality of the food. The fried potstickers are crunchy and delicious and the sauce they paired it with was sweet and balanced the flavor of the potstickers. Even though it was busy, the kitchen was quick and we had our food within minutes of ordering. This place has so much more than pho, I'll be back to try more from their extensive menu!

The combination is spectacular and the head cheese is home made and not mass produced and it has that head cheese taste I love. The Xu Mai is one of the best I have had, not to tomato tasting and tart. It is indeed a great tasting sandwich. The chick is solid...Though I don't see cured pork but they have the crunch one which I am just ok with it. The bread is good and the size is nice and not small. Service is nice and typical so don't expect white glove but there is no rudeness either. The sandwich makes up for it easily. Ambiance is tiny and cafe style but could be improved. It would be nice if it was upgraded a little but that is not what they are gunning for I assume but again the sandwich is to die for and is competitive to ones that my Viet friends have taken me too. Are they better than Cuy Cafe in Milpitas? No, but for my area they are the best one....Lees has the selection but not as tasty and their bread is just ok. Plenty of parking. I N S I D E It's not a very big place. They do have some seats inside as well as some tables outside. But I feel like this is more of a grab and go spot than an eat inside. M E N U They have a variety of banh mi sandwiches as well as snacks and bowls. They also do have drinks. We opted to get the BM1. Dac Biet - Cold Cut Meats and Pate and the Grilled Pork Spring Rolls. The pate in the banh mi is probably the most flavorful I've ever had. But the cuts of meat were the most tendony I've ever had. Quite hard to chew through. The spring roll was not bad with the grilled pork being the star as it was lemongrass forward and the peanut sauce very good.
