Mandarin Triple Crown The flavor of this plate just is fabulous!

Good! 5 stars Service... 4.5 stars Ambience... a little loud tonight! Lots of girls nite out! Chinese food was the BEST I have had! Could not get my camera on the full dishes but took some! Definitely worth the drove and cost! Was a pretty busy Saturday night Not pictured was the walnut prawns! OMG.. top tier! Never had them better in my life Also not pictured was an appetizer called crispy eggplant! Outstanding So figure about $$$$ per person and it's worth it! Again the best Chinese food I ever ate!!

My work scheduled a dinner here for all my coworkers and we had a lovely experience! We were able to pick out entrees ahead of time and served family style. We were served 3 appetizers as well. The staff was friendly, quick, and attentive to serving our large party. We also had 4 birthdays amongst our group, and they served four different desserts to each person. As one of the birthday people I got served a mango raspberry sherbet with a white chocolate shell. It was the best of all the desserts! The portions were huge and we had leftovers to take home. We were very impressed by the service for our party of 14!

Excellent Chinese food in Livermore. Went back after a long time with family after watching "Annie" at the Bankhead Theater nearby. The ladies ordered colorful fruity drinks, and we ordered honey glazed calamari ($27) and crispy eggplant with hoisin ginger glaze ($21) as starters. The latter was a recommendation by our server, and he was spot on, as the eggplant was served piping hot and was superb. It was almost as good as the calamari (my favorite!). For our entrées we ordered tea-smoked duck ($33) with pancakes, BBQ Pork baby back ribs ($24), General Tso's chicken ($28), and Wagyu Chow Fun ($24) - these were all very good, but IMO the baby back ribs were a notch above the rest! Total bill was a little over $200 before tax and tip. Bathrooms were adequate. Deducted one star because they rushed us and cleared our plates before we were ready, even though there were plenty of tables and staff available.

Uncle Yu's, where Quality and Elegance meets with Tradition to deliver the Best Elevated Chinese Food! Located downtown, this Chinese Restaurant shows you why they are dominating in the area. You enter and are greeted by the hostess. The clean, modern, elegant Chinese restaurant couldn't be anymore inviting. I ordered the Chicken Chow Mein, simple, yet complex. Knowing a Chinese restaurant's worth is through their fried ice or Chow Mein. Welp, Uncle Yu's was the best I've ever had. The Chow Mein is perfectly cooked and coated in the wonderful Chow Mein glaze, but cleaner. The Chicken was huge, thin sliced, white, perfectly cooked, juicy chicken. Vegetables cooked, but with snap, wonderful. And for the Chow Mein Noodles, soft, yet have that bite, then melt in your mouth! This place is going to be a go to every time I visit my hometown!

Dessert menu! White chocolate and sorbet!

Uncle use at the vineyard is an all-time favorite. Service is always stellar and the food is always hot and fresh. Our favorites are the eggplant appetizer, garlic noodles, honey walnut prawns, and Kung pow three combo. The drinks are always delicious so an absolute kudos to the bartender. We will forever be coming back. Keep up the great work!

Our group had a reservation for 5 and were seated quickly. The inside is dark and moody, totally enjoyed the vibe. Our waiter was attentive and got our drinks and appetizers out quickly. He timed everything perfectly, and had our entrees come out after we enjoyed our apps. Our table ordered a dirty martini, spicy margarita and a lychee martini. The dirty martini was perfection, just the right amount of olive juice. The spicy margarita was well balanced and had just a hint of spice. The lychee martini was refreshing. For appetizers we ordered the potstickers, the crab meat cheese puffs and the specialty dumpling sampler. The potstickers were big and nicely filled, the crab and meat cheese puffs were their take on a crab Rangoon and the dumplings were sooo yummy. The only thing I wish is that there were some meat/veggie options as part of the dumpling sampler. Each dumpling contained some type of seafood and sadly one member of our party is allergic. For the mains we ordered the fried rice, chow mein, Mongolian beef, broccoli beef and a chicken dish. The meat dishes were flavorful and seasoned well. The wagyu steak was tender and soft just melts in your mouth. The chow mein was the star. The texture and flavor of the dish was spot on. I could have eaten the whole bowl myself. The miss of the night was the chicken fried rice. It was pretty bland and the prices of chicken had no seasoning. Overall we had a great dinner. The menu is large so we'll be coming back to try some other dishes.

The Spicy Pan-Fried Crispy Noodles with Wagyu Flank Steak was disappointing, the flavor had some type of floral taste.

The three of us shared the House Special Dinner, which was a fantastic spread. It included fried prawns, egg rolls, barbecued spare ribs, Mandarin orange beef, prawns with snow peas, honey walnut prawns, and house fried rice. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The honey walnut prawns were especially memorable, and every dish had great balance and taste. The variety made it perfect for sharing, and we left very satisfied. The service was friendly and welcoming, and the overall dining experience was excellent. It's not exactly light on the wallet--the price is $32.95 per person as of March 2026--but considering the amount and quality of food you receive, it felt like a very good value. I would absolutely recommend Canton Village to anyone looking for delicious Chinese food in Livermore.

It's kind of pricey, especially compared to the original location in Oakland, but the food is authentic Hong Kong/Cantonese style cuisine. This will definitely satisfy your carb/MSG cravings, lol! We got takeout for a weekday lunch. This is our usual order now: Fresh sliced fish porridge, $14.95 - they always do a great job with this. This is the Cantonese equivalent of chicken noodle soup. The texture is just right, there are plenty of fish pieces, and the flavor is classic, right down to the ginger slivers. Shrimp rice noodle roll $9.50 - DH's favorite dim sum item. It is tender, and the shrimp are large and crispy. Comes with the classic soy-based sauce. Crab meat braised E - fu noodle $24.95 - DH's favorite noodle. This type of noodle is very soft and absorbs all of the flavors from the crab pieces and sauce. Great choice for seafood lovers! Shrimp silky egg chow fun $24.95 - little one's favorite. This one just has such a great combination of flavors. The velvety "gravy" really ties everything together and makes it go down smoothly. This one has flat noodles (cheung fun), like the classic beef chow fun. Comfort food for sure! Sautéed Chinese green $22.95 - this looks to be pan seared choy sum. Seems kind of expensive, but they actually pack a lot of greens into the box. They don't have the veggie clay pot anymore, Barbecue pork $15.95 - they do a pretty good job with this one too. The flavors are really good and interestingly enough it comes with these little beans on the bottom. Pork tends to be a little bit on the lean side. Portion size seems okay. We didn't get the beef chow fun because we didn't need that much food. But that one is a classic here and they usually do a great job with it too. Food is usually ready very quickly and everything was steaming hot. Staff are efficient and friendly. Give it a try; this place is consistently good and I highly recommend it!
