The ambience is cute and green. There's a lot of beautiful plants in here. Our server was Derik, he was very attentive. We came for the lunch special, it comes with a really good coconut tofu soup with vegetables absolutely delicious. I ordered the yellow curry with white rice and we got the tea and the potstickers steamed. So yummy! I will definitely be back.

It is such a beautiful place with amazing plants all over but the food wasn't as good as I would've wished. The crab rangoon was a bit dry and chunky not creamy. The crispy egg rolls were really good and the pineapple fried rice was good but it does taste more like stir fry than fried rice. The Thai tea is amazing and I would recommend to try it! The service was good but I did feel a bit rushed to make an order since I did come 30 mins before closing and I was told that they were only doing takeout but I do understand since it was almost closing just a little sad because I wish I could've seen the place longer it is very beautiful!

Restaurant was empty on a Monday afternoon at 4pm, seated where we wanted, our server promptly took our order. The food was very good! We shared the Tom Kha soup and eggplant fries. Soup was hot and tasty, not served in the usual metal pot with the heated center, but still very hot. Eggplant fries were really crispy and the sauce was great. Hunt who doesn't usually like eggplant that much really liked it. The ambiance is ok, clean and open, but they really need music. You hear the range hood whirring loudly. Music would add a lot. It's on the pricey side though. Probably won't be back as there are other Thai places to try for less

Seriously, the food is just out of this world good! Every bite is bursting with so many amazing flavors. I could eat that spicy noodle dish every single day. And the curries? Absolutely divine, so rich and creamy. Definitely my new favorite cuisine.

We were in Livermore briefly and wanted to stop nearby for some Thai food. Lanna Thai was a good choice - conveniently located and great customer service. I will say the size of the dishes were smaller than expected considering the price. We ordered the roti appetizer, tom yum soup, pad see ew and basil fried rice. The flavor of each of the dishes were alright and the tom yum was spicier than expected. Possibly worth visiting if you're in the area

Inside restaurant- decor is nice.

Came here on a Saturday night, plenty of parking and plenty of tables. Menu selections are great, tried Pok Pok Shrimps, Grandma pork belly, and Betong chicken. Food is delicious, but it's quite pricy - more expensive than restaurants in Downtown Livermore. Service is fine, but no one refills water for us. Decor is nice. P.S. They offer desserts from next door restaurant - Honey Bee Sweets Cafe, not sure if it's the same owner or a partnership.

Fabulous restaurant run by such wonderful people. Love their new next door hot pot I'd say it's the best I've ever had. I alternate between the two.

Delicous food, fast service, and beautiful decor. You won't be dissapointed! I've come for a casual time (several times) and a celebration dinner, both of which were delightful experiences

$50 for these items!!! Pretty crazy expensive now!!!

This place is always good except tonight with our door dash delivery . We received the delivery at the incorrect location, our neighbors apt next door , luck we caught it! The pad Thai we added chicken and it was dry and tasteless. Really surprised!

Mmmm. Lunchhhh!!!

We dropped in for a quick lunch. There was only one other table in use when we walked in. We were seated, menus presented, followed by a bowl of soup and glass of ice water. We each ordered an entree and a drink. She got a Thai Vermicelli Bowl with Pork and a Lemonade. I got an order of Pad Kee Mao with Chicken and a Thai Ice Coffee. A man, who we presumed was the chef, served us our food. He also checked back with us to make sure everything was okay. Everything was okay. I had ordered my Pad Kee Mao Mild and it had zero heat. I'll take the blame for that because I should have made sure that mild was mild and not zero heat. In fact, there was more sweet than heat. Service was decent. Next time, we'll remember also to ask if we can order off the dinner menu (it used to have more items).

Smaller restaurant with Asian decor. For the food we got the chicken omurice and pad kee mao with chicken. All very good! Chicken omurice: definitely the highlight and seems like one of their more popular dishes. The chicken was flavorful, hot, and has a nice crispy light batter. So good! The rice with egg really complimented the chicken as well. Good flavors and not overwhelming. Highly recommend Pad kee mao: good traditional flavors. It comes mild, so didn't have much of a kick. I don't eat too spicy so that was fine for me. If you prefer more spicy I recommend asking to increase the spicy level. Not the best I've had, but overall good I would definitely come back to try more dishes. Just the chicken omurice alone is enough to bring me back!

We started strong with the truffle tots: crispy, well-seasoned, and topped with Parmesan. The sauce? Genuinely great. No notes there. The chicken omurice was also a win! flavorful, comforting, and exactly what you'd hope for. My daughter's "bear in a blanket" dish was almost too cute to eat, and our server kindly offered complimentary mini pancakes for my toddler (which we didn't even know was a thing). They were adorable and surprisingly good, even without syrup. I also ordered the cloud matcha, which was delicious. Now... the duck Benedict. I'm saving it for last for a reason and not a good one. It was, unfortunately, a complete miss. It lacked flavor in a way that was almost impressive. Like... aggressively bland. The spinach and tomato completely overpowered the duck, and even tasting the duck on its own didn't help. It was giving absolutely nothing. Nothing. I'd honestly suggest pulling it from the menu until improvements can be made. Overall, I'd return for everything except the duck Benedict. Hard pass on that one.

Customer service was friendly and attentive, and the menu options were pretty good and extensive. Now for the food, we ordered the fresh rolls as an appetizer along with the special prawn dish, spicy eggplant with tofu, and basil fried rice. The fresh rolls were tasty and had a good amount of veggies, I especially enjoyed the peanut dipping sauce as it paired well with the appetizer. The special prawn dish was okay, I felt it was a bit bland, and didn't have a good variety of vegetables. It tasted alright with rice but I was hoping for more flavor. The spicy eggplant was quite disappointing and didn't have any spice at all. It was nothing to rave about and I did not enjoy eating it. The basil fried rice was possibly one of the better dishes, but overall our meal was very underwhelming. While customer service was pleasant and satisfactory, I will say portions of each dish was good and we had leftovers. However, the meal was not very good, and I was hoping for more flavor. I was surprised that we were not asked about spice level when ordering our food, as that may have helped a bit with the overall flavor or quality of the food. I generally enjoy eating Thai food and this dining experience was not the best unfortunately. I was hoping the entrees would be more tasty. Sadly, I am not sure if Lemongrass Thai is worth visiting. It may be best to try out a different cuisine if you're looking to dine in downtown Livermore.

Every now and then, my wife and I still make the pilgrimage to Sai's to see our friends and enjoy a meal. This night we ordered: Asparagus Prawns - 5 - When the ingredients are fresh and you know what you're doing, the resulting dishes will be delicious. My wife is particular about her asparagus, too skinny is not acceptable. It has to be medium to fat, and of course, not woody. I'm more particular about my prawns. I can't stand overcooked seafood! Bitter Melon Chicken - 5 - Bitter Melon can be soaked in water to remove some of the bitterness before cooking. Then you want to cook it so it's no longer crunchy but not so much that it's mushy. Sai's always does a great job with it when it's in season. Oyster Pancakes - 4 - A slight downgrade because of the size of the oysters. Maybe I'm simply greedy but I want more! On the other hand, the egg was well seasoned, tasty and not overcooked. Sesame Balls - 5 - These were fried a little darker than usual but that just makes the sesame flavor pop! A great way to finish off a meal here at Sai's.
