Ambience is cute. Waitress is friendly. Authentic Thai food, many Thai street food options. They are delicious. Appetizers, salads, and noodles are reasonably priced, but some dishes are a bit overpriced in my opinion (the prawn dish is $27 for only 6 prawns, they are delicious though). The sauces are awesome! Papaya salad is too salty but refreshing.

Creamy, rich and yummy! Would come back here again. Good portion and generous amount of chicken!

Kin Phed is an awesome place! We had such a great lunch here! We had the Bistro Roti, Slow-Braised Pork Leg on Rice, Pad Thai, Massaman Curry, Bangkok Fried Rice, ending with Mango Sticky Rice, and I must admit each item totally hits the spot, packed with flavor and really fresh ingredients. The staff were super nice and made us feel right at home. Cozy spot, great food, and just an all-around awesome experience. A must try if you are in Livermore and craving some Thai food. Well definitely be back!

Wow the best thai in Livermore. Great service, cozy atmosphere, delicious food! I ordered the tom yum with tofu and pad thai with veggies. Best meal I've had so far in 2026. Looking forward to coming back soon :)

When we arrived at noon on Saturday, there was a large party dining inside but within 45 minutes, the interior was nearly full. There was one server in addition to another lady who looked like she was helping out but not taking orders so some people looked a bit annoyed having to wait. We ordered: - Crispy chicken/pork dumplings - Pad kee mao (drunken noodles) - Pad see ew with chicken - Massaman short rib (from the Chef's menu) The chicken/pork dumplings were very crispy. I think our friend had trouble eating them. My pad see ew was very good. I order this often when I have Thai food and this one tasted traditional. Our friend enjoyed his pad kee mao and had leftovers for another meal. My husband's Massaman short rib was the star of the show. It was beautiful, substantial, and tasted great. It came with a small bowl of rice. This dish has some heat and an interesting and delicious blend of spices. We would definitely order it again. Overall, a nice experience in a casual environment. Food was very good and we didn't feel rushed to leave. There is plenty of parking in the large lot. They are located in the same parking lot as Terra Mia.

The food was excellent and fueled my cravings for a Thai dish on our way to Oakland. The flavoring was damn near perfect and definitely a pleasant surprise. Staff is nice and welcoming would definitely recommend the pineapple fried rice.

Cute little restaurant. The food surprisingly had really good flavor. I really liked the soup, even though the flavors were light, you can still taste it. Wish the soda had free refills because it believe it was $4..for soda! Not sure I would return back to the restaurant when I'm in the area, but overall I was impressed.

3.5/5 rounded down for me. What initially drew me to Kin Phed were the pictures of the tom yum giant river big head prawn soup and the Mama seafood salad. We came and ordered exactly those, an order of white rice, and 2 thai teas on a Monday afternoon. With only 1 other party and what seemed to be like 1 pick-up order, there was a bit of a wait to get our food. They also forgot our side of white rice so we did have to remind them. The thai tea tasted a bit different compared to others where they really honed in on the spices of the drink. For me, I would have preferred it to be creamier. I did really enjoy the Mama seafood salad; I mean you can't really go wrong with Mama noodles as the seasoning packet themselves is already golden. To my surprise, the tom yum giant river big head prawn soup did not hit the spot. It didn't taste like the usual tom yum profile; it was more on the sweeter side and felt like something was missing. Overall, I'd probably go elsewhere to get Thai food but maybe just maybe I'd come back and try other items. They are still relatively new so I hope their ops gets smoother!

Why charge 1% for credit card charges?

Decided to give this Thai restaurant a try with getting a take out order. I ordered the yellow curry with chicken. Overall met expectations but it didn't come with rice. Rice is another $2.50 I also got the yum woon sen. The portion size is a lot smaller compared to some other Thai restaurant in the area. There was no one sitting inside considered that it's already past lunch hour. The decor seems cute and the restaurant is pretty small so I won't recommend for large party. Easy parking. Another note is they charged me 1% for paying w my credit card. I don't really like restaurants that don't let the customer know before making payment that there will be a surcharge. Even though it wasn't much, why not include the credit card charges in your menu price? Any surcharges I see afterward on receipts that I paid without knowing throws me off.

Quality/Quantity - Another good find. Yum MAMA Seafood Salad - My order. At our usual Thai place in Alameda, CA, I usually order the seafood salad. This was just as good. My wife and daughter said that it was spicy...? But I did not think so. Also, an interesting dish made with ramen. My wife said let's try to make this at home, lol. Pad See Ew - My daughter's usual. It was good, but the other two dishes were even better. Pad Prik Kang Green Beans - Got mild and it still had a good "kick." The veggies were fresh. Atmosphere - Small local restaurant. Open kitchen. A small restroom, that you have to walk through the kitchen to use. Plenty of mall parking. Open 7 days a week from 11am to 8:30pm; and on Mondays for lunch only from 11am to 3pm. Service - The waitress did a good job. My wife said she was beautiful. Friendly, professional, hard working, etc. The team working the kitchen seemed to have a great time. They did not stop talking the entire time we were there. Then I guess a regular customer came and the owner came out to talk with them. Price - $61 + generous tip. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since March of this year.

My husband and I have been getting takeout from here for a few weeks but we finally had the chance to dine in. It was such a great time, perfect ambiance, delicious food, and amazing service. Coral was helping us out today and she was such a delight, very friendly and kind, which added to our experience. I'll definitely return to dine in.

Kin Phed opened where Dandy Dogs once was. A whimsical decor replaced by a mature floral mural, lotsa seats inside. Kitchen, washing machine area, storage space cramped, small. Unusually busy at lunch when I came. Single waitstaff aided by 2 kitchen staff who brought out food. Managed to place order a few minutes after being seated. Got food in 15ish minutes. Offerings (Thai): Thai Night Market Street Food, appetizers, vegetables & tofu, stir fried noodles, noodle soup, entrees, curries, salads, Fried rice, sides, mini hot pot, drinks, seafood. Bites: Leng Zapp (17.95) only served "spicy" -soup wasn't "spicy". Had minute bursts of heat. Fragrant Broth a plus version of tom yum soup-hints of cilantro, lemongrass, onions, fish sauce, soy sauce, rich pork flavor & oilyness from pork fat/meat. -featured meat said to be "pull apart" on 6ish pork rib pieces. Only the small portions pulled apart. The thicker bones had very chewy meat resistant to pulling. Probably not slowly simmered long enough. 3.5 stars not worthy. Soup disappointed. Quality: inconsistent-broth very good, meat-poorly executed. Quantity: reasonable. Ribs lack meat on some bones.

Smaller restaurant with Asian decor. For the food we got the chicken omurice and pad kee mao with chicken. All very good! Chicken omurice: definitely the highlight and seems like one of their more popular dishes. The chicken was flavorful, hot, and has a nice crispy light batter. So good! The rice with egg really complimented the chicken as well. Good flavors and not overwhelming. Highly recommend Pad kee mao: good traditional flavors. It comes mild, so didn't have much of a kick. I don't eat too spicy so that was fine for me. If you prefer more spicy I recommend asking to increase the spicy level. Not the best I've had, but overall good I would definitely come back to try more dishes. Just the chicken omurice alone is enough to bring me back!

We started strong with the truffle tots: crispy, well-seasoned, and topped with Parmesan. The sauce? Genuinely great. No notes there. The chicken omurice was also a win! flavorful, comforting, and exactly what you'd hope for. My daughter's "bear in a blanket" dish was almost too cute to eat, and our server kindly offered complimentary mini pancakes for my toddler (which we didn't even know was a thing). They were adorable and surprisingly good, even without syrup. I also ordered the cloud matcha, which was delicious. Now... the duck Benedict. I'm saving it for last for a reason and not a good one. It was, unfortunately, a complete miss. It lacked flavor in a way that was almost impressive. Like... aggressively bland. The spinach and tomato completely overpowered the duck, and even tasting the duck on its own didn't help. It was giving absolutely nothing. Nothing. I'd honestly suggest pulling it from the menu until improvements can be made. Overall, I'd return for everything except the duck Benedict. Hard pass on that one.

The skin is thin and tender, never doughy, allowing the filling inside to truly shine. Bursting with flavor, the filling is juicy, well-seasoned, and balanced--savory without being overpowering. Every bite delivers a comforting warmth, the kind that reminds you why dumplings are such a timeless, beloved dish. Whether dipped lightly into sauce or enjoyed on their own, they stand confidently as a highlight of the menu. What truly elevates these dumplings is the attention to detail. You can taste the freshness of the ingredients and the patience behind their preparation. They aren't rushed or mass-produced; they feel handmade, thoughtful, and authentic. The texture contrast between the soft wrapper and the flavorful filling creates a satisfying bite that keeps you reaching for "just one more." It's the kind of dish that leaves a lasting impression and sets a high standard for everything else that follows. Then come the short ribs--undeniably the star of the table. Customer service was friendly and attentive, and the menu options were pretty good and extensive. Now for the food, we ordered the fresh rolls as an appetizer along with the special prawn dish, spicy eggplant with tofu, and basil fried rice. The fresh rolls were tasty and had a good amount of veggies, I especially enjoyed the peanut dipping sauce as it paired well with the appetizer. The special prawn dish was okay, I felt it was a bit bland, and didn't have a good variety of vegetables. It tasted alright with rice but I was hoping for more flavor. The spicy eggplant was quite disappointing and didn't have any spice at all. It was nothing to rave about and I did not enjoy eating it. The basil fried rice was possibly one of the better dishes, but overall our meal was very underwhelming. While customer service was pleasant and satisfactory, I will say portions of each dish was good and we had leftovers. However, the meal was not very good, and I was hoping for more flavor. I was surprised that we were not asked about spice level when ordering our food, as that may have helped a bit with the overall flavor or quality of the food. I generally enjoy eating Thai food and this dining experience was not the best unfortunately. I was hoping the entrees would be more tasty. Sadly, I am not sure if Lemongrass Thai is worth visiting. Every now and then, my wife and I still make the pilgrimage to Sai's to see our friends and enjoy a meal. This night we ordered: Asparagus Prawns - 5 - When the ingredients are fresh and you know what you're doing, the resulting dishes will be delicious. My wife is particular about her asparagus, too skinny is not acceptable. It has to be medium to fat, and of course, not woody. I'm more particular about my prawns. I can't stand overcooked seafood! Bitter Melon Chicken - 5 - Bitter Melon can be soaked in water to remove some of the bitterness before cooking. Then you want to cook it so it's no longer crunchy but not so much that it's mushy. Sai's always does a great job with it when it's in season. Oyster Pancakes - 4 - A slight downgrade because of the size of the oysters. Maybe I'm simply greedy but I want more! On the other hand, the egg was well seasoned, tasty and not overcooked. Sesame Balls - 5 - These were fried a little darker than usual but that just makes the sesame flavor pop! A great way to finish off a meal here at Sai's.

After I ordered the Tom Kha Gai soup, I forgot that years ago I didn't like it at this location because it tasted heavy on chicken broth. However it seems they have improved the broth on the soup and I enjoyed it this time around. Years ago we did eat inside, and service was good, but the inside ambiance felt more like a coffee shop instead of a restaurant. Our order was takeout, which I did place the order over the phone. Person at register (owner?) definitely asks if you would like to tip. So be prepared to be prompted in person or over the phone (if you ask to pay via phone for take-out order).

Food came to table in 10ish minutes. Offerings: (usual Thai): vegetarian, soup, starters, Curries, specialties, noodles & rice, drinks. Bites: Brown rice (3) -probably Thai jasmine rice. Firm not soft. Great for soaking up sauces & muting chili hotness. Pla Gra Prow (22) medium spicy fried sole fillet -thinly breaded sole virtually boneless. Melty tender texture. Blended nicely with lightly stir fried crunchy onions, red peppers, green beans. -spicy basil sauce wasn't as spicy as expected. Mostly mild medium chiliness with bursts of hotness. *fish items only had spicy options. Probably would order another sauce style next. 4ish stars quality good..
