Some were great and others were really not engaged and standoffish. The store is definitely expensive. I saw a few things I wanted and will be coming back for later. I was able to find a great Maison Berger (this was the last one and was the display) and since it was my first time I got 10% off. Waiting at the register to check out the person in front of me was harassing the clerk and the manager for "false price advertising." Well a coffee maker does not cost 5 cent. Apparently it scanned for $179 from $200. But this disgrace of a human is sitting there with a price tag from "the self" for 5 cents and is arguing that the store should honor that price trying to use the system. No one is that ignorant to not know that a coffee maker is not 5 cent. You can't even buy gum for 5 cent. Enough with clients trying to take advantage of businesses. I truly wish the manager had kicked her out, but she didn't. The woman wanted a "license" to steal. Shoplifting in disguise. But it was nowhere to be found within the brick and mortar shoppe. Alas, we settled for the savory potato book. The autumnal kitchen aprons piqued my attention and I may revisit pretty soon. Everything is becoming gold and orange within the shoppe. The large green parrot at the shoppe is quite amusing and adorable. We love interacting with him. It's always fun to visit Bering's, they have something for everyone. They often have deals as well, talk about sweet! Oh and don't forget the coffee and chocolates. They have handmade chocolates, biscotti and local coffee. The culinary equipment here is quite nice, whether you're looking for a new teapot, knife set or mugs, bowls. In addition to crappy service, the Manager was just standing there flipping coins while customers were standing and waiting in line. He didn't seem to care. Maybe his "Daddy" is a part-owner of Hobby Lobby, and he has job security to be able to just stand there all day, and flip coins. Are you kidding me? They provide you with a complimentary drink, mimosa, water, champagne or wine. The 11am class I took was pretty empty which felt like I rented out the space :) There's great tunes to accompany your experience. The instructor we had was awesome and super knowledgeable about candles (and candle safety) and you can tell she had a passion for making them! You get to smell 30+ scents and choose 2 that you would like to pair for your desired scent. I went with the grapefruit mint and Oud which turned out so sophisticated. The entire class is about an hour and 30 minutes. I definitely would have enjoyed adding another scent, that is something they should consider allowing in the class. The business is woman owned which is awesome. A few things to know: you can pick your candle up 2 hours after the class (thus is noted on the website) because it needs to cure properly and they will add your labeling and finishing touches (dried flowers you chose) I paid $68 for each 12oz luxury custom candle that I made, named and crafted. It was worth every penny!
