Stopped into Lemontree for a quick lunch to go. Walked in and it was not busy yet which was nice! I will be able to get in and out. Ordered the sausage and pear salad without the sausage. Hung out for a bit and my order was ready. My salad was beautiful! I got a huge container of fresh greens. It was garnished with a hearty amount of goat cheese and pear. I appreciate that they give me a good amount of salad dressing. My salad mix was so fresh. The greens were so crisp. The goat cheese was buttery and added a creaminess to the salad. The pear was perfectly ripe. It wasn't too soft or too hard. The salad dressing was sweet and was a nice addition to the salad. I was surprised at how much came in my bowl. I ate at it a couple times and still have half left over. Going down the menu list and I have enjoyed everything so far. I love that they use fresh and clean ingredients. Looking forward to coming back and trying other items off their menu.

Lemon Tree makes a good sandwich. Located right downtown the sandwiches have decent bread. The service was quick and the staff will bring your order to the table. I enjoyed the soup which is one option for a side and you still get a full sandwich. I recommend you sit outside on a warm day and enjoy the ambiance. This is more upscale than some of the large chains which I appreciated.

Loved this little corner breakfast, lunch and afternoon pick me up spot in downtown Boise. The staff welcome you in and it feels comfortable immediately. **The Lemon Tree Company **eatery is two stories. You order as you enter and can choose seats downstairs or better yet upstairs. While second floor requires taking the stairs is is like being in a loft at a friend place. Multiple tables with views of the street (and the first floor) that is a quieter area than downstairs. Restrooms for customers are by the kitchen under the stairs. The whole restaurant is Intimate, cozy, casual, trendy and fun. Perfect to meet family and/or friends and enjoy good, unique creations. The food was Divine! I came because I heard about the pear & sausage sandwich, various lemonades and Lemosas. Those menu items alone are worth checking out. The Pear and Sausage sandwich is a combination that I would never make or order until now but it was so tasty! The fennel jam and pear vinaigrette, fresh pear & sausage pieces with mixed greens were so delish. Every bite was enjoyable. We all wanted the tomato basil soup but it was out already at lunch. The Peruvian sandwich was good as well especially for meat lovers. The Lemosa is a must try drink. Just pick a lemonade and they add Brut sparkling wine. The different types of lemonades were so fun and fruity. Everything we got was consumed and enjoyed. You have to try this if you are in downtown Boise before 4pm

Had lunch and saw an employee texting and making sandwiches - it's disgusting. Not to mention the floor had gloves and is filthy in this photo. Sad to see this place spiral cause I left 5 stars a few years ago. I'm disappointed in you Lemon Tree Co.

Very cool little spot in downtown Boise. Order from the blackboard at the counter and leave a name. There is a nice room upstairs that has tables, tunes, and toasty warm temps on a cold day. I had the half sandwich (Rueben )with a can of seltzer and a beet and goat cheese salad. The half sandwich is really a whole! It's big and comes on a sizable roll. The beet salad is tasty. The menu overall is unique in its offerings and definitely not "classics " in the deli circle, but it suits them well.

Lemon Tree....a hot spot among millennial hipsters that love the odd fig jelly and uncommon greens on their Sammy. Looking for a solid deli sandwich? Well this ain't it. Want a standard tastey samich that doesn't leave you guessing what it was you just processed in your mouth hole? Ya, not it. However, these are delicious lunch structures filled with not so common cuts and complimentary condiments. Sweet, salty, savory they got it goin on at lemon tree. The bread is artesian of course. Is it the kind of sandwich this manly man usually wants? No....but I think that's okay you know? Because it's still very good. Not in a Gen X slap your mama with my callused hand sort of way. But more of a gentle Gen Z, I hardly have the grip strength to hold this sandwich together so I'll structure it in a way to help you....kind of way. It's good. You should go try it. Just don't let it change who you are and eat up Boise.

Kind of on the fence about this one! I really enjoyed the strawberry basil lemonade. I had the "boursin" sandwich and I'm not sure which part of the sandwich played to my downfall but I did have an allergic reaction (allergic to peanuts - did make mention of it, but there's always a risk for cross-contamination since their menu does contain PB&J). The service was pretty speedy and the cashier had some great suggestions for me as a first-time guest. There were a lot of people sitting outside, inside was pretty bare just the staff and people waiting for their orders/Ubereats, but it's a pretty trendy/cute spot.

I would actually give 3.5 stars for my experience, but I erred toward 3, rather than 4. The restaurant is cute and the staff was friendly. The food came out at a reasonable wait. There are many vegan and vegetarian options on the menu, in addition to "omnivore" options. Creative sandwiches where you read the ingredients and think, "I wonder what that tastes like together." I should have ordered one of these creations. The sandwiches are LARGE, served on ciabatta bread and with a small side salad, soup or chips. They're $15+. You can also order a half sandwich (I recommend, unless you're sharing, starving or taking the other half home for later), but this option is $16-18 and comes with a drink of your choice. I ordered the turkey Boursin both because it sounded good and because it was a favorite. I am a fan of Boursin, but had to keep reminding myself it wasn't goat cheese on the sandwich. (I'm also a fan of goat cheese. I just didn't like the combo here.) the sandwich was dry and lacking in the interesting flavor combo I was hoping for. I got the beet salad on the side and, although it was good, the greens were past their prime, so I didn't eat much of it. My daughter got the mushroom artichoke sandwich, which she really enjoyed and my husband got the Peruvian, which he reported was delicious. So, it could have just been that I made an unfortunate choice. If you're looking for a more basic turkey sandwich, get the turkey Boursin. I would still recommend giving this place a try. Maybe I'll come back sometime and try something else. However,

It's a very cute place and felt like the food is relatively healthy! The staff was friendly. I enjoyed the strawberry basil lemonade and the side salad that came with it. The sandwich wasn't bad but I'd rather have a different one. If I ever go back to this place, I'll try something else. I also thought it was interesting they didn't have any coffee there.

Over this time, my experiences have been a bit of a mixed bag regarding food quality and accuracy, though the service and atmosphere have always been consistently good. The environment inside the restaurant is always clean and welcoming, and the staff members are pleasant and helpful during my visits. On the food side, their salads are excellent and highly reliable. I can always count on getting a fresh, well-made salad every time I order. However, other aspects of the menu tend to fluctuate. The soups are hit-or-miss; there are days when they are delicious, but other times they are served cold and taste slightly off. My biggest recurring issue is with order accuracy regarding their chocolate-dipped strawberries. I specifically request a plain dipped strawberry because the hard candy pearls on the decorated ones hurt my teeth. Despite making this request, I frequently get home only to find they packed the strawberry with the hard toppings anyway. While the great service and atmosphere make for an enjoyable visit, the inconsistency with the soup quality and the lack of attention to simple order modifications makes the overall food experience unpredictable.

I came here for a late lunch around 2 pm after arriving in Boise. They weren't crowded at this point but business wasn't dead either. My waitress was very friendly. Inside has a lived-in, intimate feel, but it was pretty dark, so much that I wasn't sure they were actually open as I was opening the door. I had the French dip sandwich with a side of tomato basil soup. The sandwich was delicious and tasted homemade in the best way. The "meat" of the sandwich was seitan. I don't THINK it was a perfect meat replica (but I've never had a real French dip), but it was very flavourful. I loved the flavour and the thick cut of their bread, but it didn't have much structure and fell apart easily as I was eating which made the sandwich very messy. The tomato basil soup was a little different. It was slightly creamy but brothy and a little chunky - not a smooth puree. Again, it tasted great and was nice and light, which was a good contrast to the very rich sandwich. It was a little slow, especially considering they weren't that busy. I didn't really mind since I wasn't on a schedule, but this is something to be aware of - don't come here for a quick meal. Not cheap, but worth it for the quality.

The mix of Thai and Burmese dishes really sets it apart from other places in town. The food was overall really flavorful dishes like khao soi papaya salad and other northern Thai dishes , and everything tastes fresh and well-prepared. The flavors feel more traditional compared to a lot of Thai spots around here. The restaurant itself is on the smaller side, which gives it a cozy vibe, but it can feel a little tight and busy during peak hours, so it's not the best place for big groups unless you plan ahead. Service was friendly and welcoming, and food came out pretty quickly even when it was busy. Overall, it's a great spot for quality Thai food in Boise. definitely one of the places I'd come back to when I want something more authentic and a little different.
