We'd been to the Meridian location, and decided to check this one in Nampa. Came about 3:30 on a Saturday, and there only two other parties in the restaurant, which is one of the reasons we go out to eat in the mid-afternoon. The atmosphere is very casual, metal tables and chairs, bright and cheerful. Even though it appears like a fast food restaurant, there is table service, and that's nice. Payten was our server, and she did a great job of taking care of us. Don't know what it would be like during the busy times. My wife ordered a Chicken Shawarma sandwich, and I got the Chicken Shawarma bowl. My wife liked the sandwich, and I enjoyed the bowl. Nicely seasoned chicken with a base of salad and Safron rice. Very filling, too. Also, their fries are very good. They are seasoned well and crispy, just the way I like them. We will definitely be back. Good, healthy food at a reasonable price, in a nice atmosphere. My only negative is that the AC was on cold enough for both of us to wish we had brought coats. read more

This is a nice spot for a delicious little meal! Whether with a family member, friend or few, or a casual date out with a special someone, this is a nice little spot to go for some solid Mediterranean food. The employees here were really friendly and helpful when asked for recommendations, and it definitely doesn't feel like some big impersonal franchise while you are here. While this place can't claim "the best" lamb gyro or shawarma I've ever had (Portland has that locked down solid for me), it is really great for the Nampa area and anywhere else would struggle to top Zullee. The food was average at best, do not recommend. I ordered soup, peta bread, baklava, all were again, not great. I wanted a freah piece of baklava, they pulled a piece from the refrigerator section, and it tasted like it was, refrigerated and not the fresh pieces they displayed. read more

Did not realize that it has been a year since we were in town and stopped here at Zullee's. My wife and I ended up ordering the same thing again without realizing it. My wife had the chicken Zullee bowl and I had the chicken Shawarma entrée. Both of them were delicious and fresh. Great option over the traditional hamburger and fries. Drew was our waiter and he was fantastic. Very personable and helpful. He gave me insight as to what to order and what to choose for my drink options. Will definitely be back again. read more

Fresh, fantastically flavorful food! I come from a foodie town, so normally I avoid strip mall eateries like the plague. But coming through Nampa on a way back from a river trip, we were weary road warriors in need of something healthy and fresh to eat after living on the river eating things out of cans & salty snack food. Zullee's menu fit the bill. We had two teenagers with us, and they found delicious skewers and zesty hummus, veggies and rice to eat. My husband and I got the delicious and crisp chicken shawarma bowls with plenty of cold, crisp Romaine, crunchy cabbage and shredded carrot on top of a spicy and delicious hummus and rice base. This was a giant bowl of fresh grub that would've cost 18 or 20 bucks in Portland Oregon. And it was $15. Quite insane. And highly recommended. This is a MUST try!! I have been driving by since it opened always too busy to stop. But today I decided I would finally go on and try it! It was SO delicious! I'm upset that we didn't try it sooner. There was a very sweet girl that took my order. I had the chicken shawarma bowl with saffron rice and the tzatziki sauce (no tomatoes since I'm allergic). My husband had the gyro sandwich. I was so impressed with the flavor of all of it. I'm definitely adding Zullee to my list of go to's when I'm out and about. Zullee is a nice little spot. The atmosphere is very calm and friendly. The classic gyro sandwich was amazing. The chicken shawarma sandwich was good but a little dry. Very steep in price, but that's kind of the market these days, I suppose. The restaurant is clean, which we always appreciate, and the staff is friendly and helpful. I love Mediterranean food. Their recipes are very light and clean. This is a great option when you're out and about looking for healthier options. This was the first time I've had falafel and really enjoyed it! I also was a guest at a baby shower where the parents to be hired Zullee to cater. Everything was warm and delicious, and they did a great job setting everything up. read more

When you order to go bowls you need to put utensils and napkins in the order. My family and another ordered the same things and both bags had no utensils or napkins. Seems pretty simple to do since you're eating a bowl I would assume you would need a spoon or a fork. Just do better. The bowls were delicious but it's annoying when you're stuck at a volleyball game with no utensils. read more

I love the food and vibe here! It's perfect. My go to has been the gyro. I haven't had a good gyro since leaving the east coast. Walking in to this new restaurant, I was a bit taken back by the stark, modern decor. Didn't seem ethnic, since it is billed as Mediterranean. However, it is super clean and everything else makes up for the lack of traditional design! We were greeted immediately and told to sit wherever we liked. The server came over in less than a minute with menus and table settings. The menu is plentiful, making it difficult to choose but we soon had our drinks to enjoy while we went over the food options. The Persian iced tea was so refreshing and different, while the organic lemonade was not overly sweet and delightful. (Their drinks are house made, no cans!!!) Finally decided on a Gyro sandwich which came with a side house salad and a Gyro dinner which was plated with Greek rice and Greek salad, adorned with a grilled tomato half. The Gyro meat in both entrees was perfectly cooked, tender and flavorful. Salads were chilled properly, fresh and crispy. All of the food was presented attractively - very eye appealing - and generous portions! We waited for the Dolmeh we ordered as an appetizer but they never came. When the manager came over to ask how everything was, I mentioned the dolmeh and asked to cancel the order since we already had our dinners. She apologized profusely and said she would make sure we weren't charged as well as discounting our bill. We were so pleased with our food, we insisted a discount was not necessary, nor expected. In the end, we left completely satisfied having enjoyed our excellent meals, the consideration of a manager making that extra effort to please her patrons, and knowing we will be back soon. PS: Add back in the discount and the total for a great dining experience was mind blowingly reasonable. Give this place a try. They seem to do a hefty takeout business as well. read more
