I wanted a juicy burger and picked the right spot. Better than Red Robin any day!! I have a bacon cheeseburger with all the fixings with a large fries. Ok... it's a BAG of fries!!! Best part is they use potato's from Idaho growers (No farms,no food) Service was friendly and fast.

Extra fries at bottom of bag!

Went to five guys for lunch today with my daughter. Our first time there. She had a little cheeseburger and little fry with a chocolate shake. I had the bacon cheeseburger with regular fries and a soda. It was a bit pricey at 44 bucks but it was way too much food. They give you enough fries for 4 people! And the burgers were very big. Service was fast and food was good. Definitely worth going back, just going to order smaller

Greatest burger ever! Great location in the Nampa Treasure Valley Market Place. Great burgers, fries and milk shakes. Yum!

This location just opened in Nampa and everyone I know was pretty thrilled to see it. We had just gotten four inches of snow the night before but that did not stop the lunch rush from coming in! We were treated by everyone once entering and a very nice girl took our order! There was a great crew back cooking and a y0ung man named Aaron yelling put everyone orders and facilitating. Place ran very smooth and orderly. Dining room was very clean and bathrooms very clean. I ordered the cheesburger in a bowl (if you are GF or doing keto this is the way to go!) and my husband ordered a cheesburger with everything. What I love about Five Guys is that it has that local mom and pop taste! Everything is fresh. That really means something to me.

I am enjoying my delicious bag

Once here in Idaho, I wasn't as inclined to visit due to my fear that it wouldn't taste the same and the Idaho-shaming of visiting any location. However, I had an overwhelming desire for "animal style" well done fries and after a lot of begging, convinced my husband to come (this was not an easy task). We arrived around 4:30 pm and the dining room was roughly 1/2 full with a robust wrap in drive-thru. We were greeted by a friendly cashier who quickly took our order, then repeated it back perfectly. The kitchen was in a fervor, bustling to satisfy all the orders (really, a hard working team). We obtained our drink cups and the large, typical drink station was nicely stocked with a nice array of soft drinks to choose from. The odd thing to me is that whenever I've eaten at any other location in the past, I think the longest I've ever waited for my meal has been maybe 9 minutes, tops. No matter the time of day or night. We waited 23 minutes for our meals. It seemed that drive-thru is priority, then to-go, then dine-in. The animal style fries were pretty good, though I'm used to it being slathered with more sauce. Thankfully, I was able to get a few sauce packets and gleefully doused to my delight. However, the bun of my burger was so over toasted! The buns were actually hard and crunchy. I'm not used to that. The burger tasted like before but it was dry and overcooked as well. The lettuce, onions, tomatoes and cheese were very fresh and flavorful. My husband had the same experience with his burger as I did. Tables were not wiped down and the condiment station was out of almost everything when we got there. They didn't refill all the cups, chilis, etc. until right before we left. I really wanted to love my visit, but after this experience, and all the convincing to entice my husband there with this result, it's unlikely we will be back.

Within seconds, I received a text that my order had been received, but not confirmed, and to watch for a confirmation text. After 30 minutes, I still had not received a confirmation text, so I messaged asking for an approximate time. The reply stated they were "slammed" and that my order would be ready in about 30 minutes. After another 45 minutes, I still had not received any communication from them, so I decided to walk over to check on my order, hoping that it would be ready. The first thing I noticed was that there were not a lot of customers inside. I informed the server behind the bar that I was there to pick up my order, and she went back to check. When she returned, she told me that there were no pickup orders. I showed her the email with my order number and told her that I never received a confirmation from them. She went back into the kitchen, then came back and said they didn't have my order, but could make it while I waited - about 10 minutes. I reluctantly agreed and waited. When I got my order, I asked for a few extra cups of sauce. The server was put off, as if asked to perform an overwhelming task. Needless to say, I left the establishment with a less-than-favorable taste in my mouth. 24 hours later, I received a text from them that my order was confirmed and would be ready to be picked up. I texted back that this was 24 hours late and to cancel the order. The reply was that their texting service was unavailable, and to call for questions. I then replied to the confirmation email, hoping that would get through to them. No such luck. The reply I received said that delivery had failed - that their email box was full. I will say that the food was good, and that the server was mainly friendly. However, the whole online ordering system needs some serious revamping. I hope that Whiskey River will take this review as constructive criticism so that future customers will have an easier, smoother online ordering experience.

I was trying to put an event together for our Red Hat group for the month of March. Since the date for the event fell on St. Patty' Day, of course we would go somewhere that served corned beef and cabbage! I had heard that Jak's served a mean corned beef, so I stopped in to inquire about hosting our group of 12 for lunch at 11:30; they were happy to put us on their calendar. I received an email confirmation which included their lunch menu. I was a bit concerned as there was no mention of the corned beef on the menu, so when I called to confirm I was assured that they would indeed have it for lunch that day . During the course of our luncheon I was told by the manager, Liz, that Jak's was originally offering the corned beef only as a dinner option, but since our group had specifically requested it for lunch, they added it to their menu, just for us!! How over the top is THAT?? When we arrived the atmosphere was inviting, the restaurant was decked out with lots of St. Patty's Day greenery, and there was Irish music playing on the sound system. Our table was set up and prepared for our group; our friendly and efficient waitress was ready and waiting for our shenanigans! The portion of corned beef, cabbage, potatoes, and carrots was generous; I ended up taking quite a bit home for the hubby, which he was more than happy to finish off for his lunch! The meat was well seasoned and pretty tender, which can be tricky as sometimes the cut of the meat can make it a bit tough. There was a nice selection of various specialty adult beverages to round out the offerings, but as I personally don't imbibe I cannot give a review for those. By the time we were ready to leave, the place was pretty well packed..it was a fun and lively place to be to celebrate the day! Well done, Jak's Place...a good time was had by all!
