Went to five guys for lunch today with my daughter. Our first time there. She had a little cheeseburger and little fry with a chocolate shake. I had the bacon cheeseburger with regular fries and a soda. It was a bit pricey at 44 bucks but it was way too much food. They give you enough fries for 4 people! And the burgers were very big. The worst Five Guys I've ever been to. In fact, the only bad 5 guys I've been to. This is my first experience at an Idaho 5 guys and I hope they are not all this bad. The little cheeseburger was WAY overcooked. Like a hockey puck overcooked. This thing had shrunk down to the size of a Mcdonalds cheeseburger and I was afraid I would break a tooth. So I thought, oh well, I'll just eat my fries. Nope, those were overcooked as well. Super hard and shrunk down. To add insult to injury, they dumped a gallon of salt on them. This was a to-go order so I was halfway home before I figured out I had just been taken for just shy of $15. I'll never eat here again and probably will never eat at another 5 guys in ID. read more

I like to customize my burgers and this place allows you to do that. Caramelized onions and jalapeños are great on a burger. The fries are natural cut and a bit on the more steak type almost but not quite. They dump in a lot so a small is quite a bit. Service is usually decently quick with their assembly line. Burgers are priced right in the middle around 8-9 dollars. Decent value here. read more

This location just opened in Nampa and everyone I know was pretty thrilled to see it. We had just gotten four inches of snow the night before but that did not stop the lunch rush from coming in! We were treated by everyone once entering and a very nice girl took our order! There was a great crew back cooking and a y0ung man named Aaron yelling put everyone orders and facilitating. Place ran very smooth and orderly. Dining room was very clean and bathrooms very clean. I ordered the cheesburger in a bowl (if you are GF or doing keto this is the way to go!) and my husband ordered a cheesburger with everything. Needed to buy someone lunch, they chose five guys. I don't eat beef but I'm not finicky so I can almost always find something to eat. I chose the veggie sandwich with cheese. First, to be clear, this is the first and only time I've eaten here. Second this was quite possibly the most disgusting "sandwich" I've ever tried to ingest. Soggy, sautéed mushrooms, onions and green peppers with so much moisture they were almost dripping, covered in chucks of iceberg lettuce and half melted American cheese, slapped on a cheap hamburger bun. The most disgusting soggy mess. I did bravely tried THREE bites, all equally gross. The only reason for the two stars were the Cajun fries. The regular order was so large that I was able to fill up on those, so at least the ridiculously expensive meal wasn't a total waste. read more

Seeing the team here was quite the spectacle. I walk in and behind the counter I see him: the first guy. Not a moment passes before the second guy walks by carrying a handy mop. Guys 3 and 4 can be seen cooking fries and burgers respectively. The finale ends with the piece de resistance, the fifth guy. He serves my my bag of fries and salt with a delightful smile. Went there for my granddaughters birthday her favorite place for her birthday dinner.she won't go back they broke her heart! She has gone there for her birthday numerous times they were always full of cheer and wished her happy birthday. But not this time asked if they could tell her happy birthday. Very clean facility and friendly service. Food was fresh and the burger and fries were cooked perfectly. A bit slow I believe due to learning curve but employees appeared to be taking great care. Also fresh not pre-made food takes time. Would have been 5 stars but the fries were so over salted I couldn't eat them. I was questioning the amount of salt I saw being shaken on a fresh batch of fries. I assumed it must have been the other fry flavor. Unfortunately it was just a ridiculous amount of salt. Wish I would have tasted before I took to go so I could have discretely let them know.
