In just over a year, In-N-Out has opened its first three restaurants in Idaho. Nampa makes the third, behind Meridian and Boise. People either love them or hate them. Many of the haters have never never eaten there or have something against a family-owned chain that stresses freshness in all it's ingredients, down to the hamburger the company grinds itself, hand-leafed lettuce and fresh tomatoes, onions and chiles. Order it animal-style, with mustart-grilled meat patties, extra spread and pickles. Sometimes, I like it with cold cheese, or protein-style, which replaces the bun with outside sheets of lettice. If you think the hand-sloced fries are undercooked, order them light-well or we'll done Meridian has been the busiest of the outlets. Nampa should provide a good spot for people who live on the west side of the valley.

Fast good food. Cannot go wrong with in and out. No need to wait in crazy slow lines when you got fast, friendly staff

7 people in front of me, waited in drive thru line for 30 minutes. Scorching sun, no AC, dogs panting, not cool. Won't be returning.

Went to In-N-Out twice over our weekend in the Nampa/Boise area since we don't have one close to us.

It was about 1:45 pm on a Friday, and the place was fairly crowded. We were sat at a small booth for two, not my favorite table, but understandable that they would want to save their tables and booths for four for larger parties. It's very loud, hard to talk, so in tha sense the small booth we were in, set apart from the main seating area, was better for my wife and I to talk. Our server was Yulia, and she was delightful. Very nice, efficient, and attentive. Great service! We both had the classic burger, mine with the sharp cheddar it comes with, my wife sans cheese. 100% Wagyu beef, and cooked very nicely at medium. The bun was large and soft, very tasty and great texture. The fries were delicious; crispy and well seasoned, just great. They have a fry sauce that tasted like it had a bit of horseradish. I really liked it. Prices are very reasonable. In fact, I just had a burger at a nice restaurant in downtown Boise last week that had a smaller patty and bun, and cost $3 more. We will definitely be back to Holy Cow.

The…read moreserver/cashier was incredibly nice, even offered the Military discount we had no idea they even had, and was genuinely a pleasant person for what is a slightly upscale fast food place. Burgers were messy, but like the old commercial- "if it doesn't get all over the place, it doesn't belong in your face." Everything was fresh, and tasted as it should. I wish this place was closer to the new D&B and Home Depot as I think it would probably busier and get the attention it actually deserves. We will come back when we find ourselves on that aside of town.

The place was pretty empty when we went in, much to my surprise. It worked to our advantage as we received a friendly and quick ordering experience. Food came out only a few minutes after. Hubby and I both ordered a double deluxe smash burger with a side of fries and smash tots. I'm so bummed I forgot to order loaded tots. I have to admit, after our first bite, both hubby and I looked at each other and simultaneously said, "Wow!". The burgers were juicy (so much so, juice dripped down my hand and chin), piping hot, with super melty cheese, crisp lettuce, a plump tomato and a perfect spread of mayo. The smash tots and fries were seasoned correctly and crispy without being over fried. Service was prompt, the place was clean (even the bathroom was spotless and stocked) and we even heard a genuine "thank you for coming" when we left. We look forward to going back!

The burger tasted good, the meat was done perfectly, still juicy too. The only problem I had was the grilled onions were right on top so the top bun was a bit soggy. The Cobb salad had plenty going on, lots of grilled chicken, bacon and cheese, The lettuce was crispy and there were pickled red onions and some avocado slices on it as well. It was a nice lunch. Paying $28 for what was easily the worst meal of my life is insane. This place clearly has no regard for who keeps there bills paid (the customers) and will take any shortcut they can to make a dollar. Just keep driving and go to McDonald's. At least you won't risk getting your throat slit from metal being ingested (We dont appreciate the automated message as a solution to your problems, it just re-establishes the fact that you guys don't care)
