Great food and great service fresh food! The pastrami sandwich is worth driving for from the next town over.

The food has gotten better and the service is still a bit slow but they seem to be working on that. Personally, I don't like the fry sauce that they put on everything but it all tastes good without it. They do have the best fries in town, they have a batter they dip them in that makes them crunchy, it's really good. Some of the staff are a bit heavy handed with the salt but other then that everything has definitely improved. read more

My daughter and I were driving through Parma today and we came upon this place. It looked interesting from the outside so we went in and ordered. I had the Chicken Strips dinner and my daughter had the mushroom burger. The fries were alright, the chicken strips were alright. Zero COVID precautions being taken: not a single employee was wearing a mask, or even gloves while handling food. No distancing, no limiting the number of people. Nothing. Long wait (20+ minutes) for mediocre food. It wasn't terrible, but absolutely nothing to write home about either. read more

The food here is pretty good. It came out hot and fresh and the bun was good, which is an important part of any burger. There were a few little tables out side (we ate in the car though). Be advised there appears to be no requirement for masks here so if you are worried about it you may want to dine somewhere else. read more

I don't know much about this little town of Parma except that they offer this little burger place off the local highway. With a name like better burgers, I was excited and hungry enough to try it. I saw their handwritten menu of their burger varieties and decided to try the jalapeno burger. It was reasonably priced. When I bit into the burger, I realized that I was eating a generic burger in a generic burger joint. A burger made from a cooked frozen patty says it all. Thank goodness for the jalapenos to spice up the flavor. It satisfied me enough to keep on driving to my next destination. read more

Being in a small town, options for food are somewhat limited so I have given Boy's probably more opportunities then I should have. They take FOREVER to get your order to you and the staff is never really friendly or helpful. They are often out of common menu items and the food is just so so! read more

This is my 4th time visiting since they reopened their doors a couple weeks back. I have had the bacon cheese burger, pastrami burger, a pastrami sandwich, a chicken burger, French fries, and their onion rings. All have been delicious! Their use of fresh quality ingredients really makes this place stand out from the other restaurants in the area. The staff is friendly and courteous. Haven't ate here in some time now but thought I'd leave a review of my families experiences. When we first moved to Parma this is one of 4 places to eat in the main road we ate here a few times. Every time we ate here we waited 20+ min for food wether or not the was a line and we all got sick. Would not eat here go down the street to Apple Lucy's. read more

First I have to say we have never eaten here. But I do have to say on 5/17/2020 myself and an employee went to get lunch for the crew. We got there and went into the drive through (carona prevention tatic) moved fairly quickly a girl came out and took my order and I payed. And then we waited for 55 minutes. Needless to say had to ask for my money back. But the really sad part is that the people in front of us had to move so we could leave. {P.S. they had not received there order either} read more

Their pink ladies are great and the ice cream cones are pretty good. burger and fry wise it really depends on when you go and whip is coming. i have had some really amazing burgers and fries and other times it is not so tastey. Waited over 35 minutes in the drive thru for my order. When I got to the window the young man was NOT wearing a mask, but was wear a Trump hat. I believe businesses should not be political. Anyone working with the public needs to wear a mask. read more

Doesn't look like much when you pass by. I've never been here before. Decided to stop by and dine in, when you walk in you really get that sense of mom and pop joint, really out dated (in the best possible way) they have a picture of the whole city Parma on the wall. We were greeted and helped by a young gentleman, I told him I never been here before what would he recommend, he told me the Philly Cheese Steak Burger was a hot seller. So I went with his suggestion and was not disappointed. It had thinly sliced steak with sautéed onions, melted cheese on top of a quarter pound patty. That cheese was something else though! So melty and decadent. It came with a side of crispy french fries as well, they give you an option of fry sauce or ketchup. The fry sauce is good, its your basic fry sauce. Besides the decor being a little outdated and the dining area pretty small for the most part it was a pleasant experience. I will definitely be looking forward to my next visit! We have passed by Boy's many times driving through Parma (a sleepy blink and you miss it little town) and on our way back through this morning we figured we would try it. We should have hit the Subway down the road (and I can't stand Subway). The girl at the counter was friendly and service was good. My wife got a Western Bacon Cheesebuger - she said the bacon was tough and more about the patty in a minute. She ate three bites and tossed the rest. I got a Philly Cheesesteak Burger. Whoever the cook is must never been to Philly. The "steak" was a diced up burger patty on top of the previously frozen Costco style burger patty. No flavor. I saw some green pepper and onion, but couldn't taste it. The bus was a soft corn meal dusted affair. Blech. The fries were shoestring Simplot fries and were cooked perfectly. Nice and crisp. Those were the best part of lunch. Even the soda was gross. We got a root beer and it tasted off. We thought it was the carbonation. We exchanged it for a Pepsi. Equally gross. We had the employees all try the soda and they thought it was ok. The gave us some plain water and my wife and I discovered it was their water. It tasted like chemicals (like chlorine). It would have been nice if they offered a refund on the $2.50 soda we didn't drink. We literally took 5 sips between us. So keep going past this place. I hate to tell folks to go to a chain, but there's a Carl's Jr about 15 - 20 miles further east in Caldwell. Go there. read more

If I could leave zero stars I would. The business is equipped with a drive through which in theory is nice until you get there. The speaker does not work and a sign instructs you to pull forward and have your order taken. You're more likely to get trapped in the drive through for 45 minutes than you are to have your order taken in a timely manner. Food is good, but don't expect to be in and out on your lunch hour. read more

Food was fair but the wait time and service were not acceptable. My daughter and I spent 45 minutes in the drive-through and I actually had to call in to the restaurant from the drive-through line to get someone to take our order. We were basically trapped in the drive-through or we would have left - in that 45 minutes, exactly three cars received their orders. I was really disappointed, when I asked about the wait time, that I never got an apology. Just a litany of excuses. In reading other reviews, poor service and lengthy wait times are common. There are two burger joints in town and I live nearby. I won't be returning to this one and would advise others against it as well. read more

We were on a trip where we would only stop at ma and pa restaurants. The lady at the front counter was very friendly and super kind. Ordered two Bacon Cheese burgers, one with Swiss and one with Cheddar. They did not have cheddar available so my husband went with American. One of the buns was a bit stale. Tried this somewhat dumpy looking place for lunch. The person taking our order seemed brand new or improperly trained, so kind of slow and frustrating. The food was "pretty good". My wife's foot long dog appeared to have been deep fried. Not fond of deep fried hot dogs, but tasted OK. My pork fritters (much like small finger steaks) were very tender and enjoyable. Instead of tater tots they have tater sticks, which were OK but not very many in serving. Our biggest complaint were the milkshakes, which had virtually no flavor other than vanilla. One was supposed to be pineapple, the other Reese's. Why have flavored milkshakes and then not provide any of the flavor? Tasted good as vanilla shakes, though. Next door is a much more appealing diner/restaurant so next time will have lunch there, but this place is OK in a pinch. Lots of burger choices on their menu. read more
