You did it! You just found a hidden gem! Tasso lives up to the hype & beyond.. Hours are limited but the options & amazing food is not! Don't blink as you drive by because it is tucked under some large trees that provide a beautiful outdoor seating area outside the cottage themed storefront. Inside smells like.. cheese, but had plenty of seating & room to enjoy one(or two lol) of the best & uniquely crafted artisan sandwiches in town. Whether you're looking for a massive sandwich stacked high with a savory combination of meats, cheese, & all the fixins, the ironically named Tasso Junior is for you Or, for a much lighter side, they have salads & plenty of interesting sides to choose from.. shout out to the smoked salmon potato salad! Or, customize your own! The lady that works here is so friendly & helpful. Go give it a try & hey.. you just might find your new favorite lunch spot! Happy Yelpin Y'all!

Had the best sandwich (Tasso Junior) here on gluten free bread! Came with a side of their kimchi slaw is so good too. Will be back!

Great little sandwich shop! We look forward to coming back when we visit the area so we can stop in for lunch. The fresh meats on our sandwiches were flavorful and moist, we love the fact that they smoked their own meat on site. We also had a great conversation with Maria, who waited on us, made our sandwiches and visited with us to get to know us a little better. Friendly, fresh and a definite try when on State St!

Food was great, fresh toasted bread was amazing, smoked meats were perfect and the service was super. We sat outside under the trees in the shade and enjoyed the entire experience only to be topped by the very tasty snickerdoodle cookie. They have indoor seating as well. Highly recommend it for a quick lunch sandwich.

Damn. This woman is an artist. I had The Devil, Super super good. She clearly puts her heart and soul into the whole operation. I dont write reviews ever but i felt compelled this time.

Love, LOve, LOVE Tasso!!! Our favorite restaurant in Eagle! All of their sandwiches are on fresh baked bread and their salads are to die for! The service is amazing and it's a small thing but shows the heart of the restaurant... they charge $.40 for a bottled water. If you haven't tried Tasso, you need to!

The Turkey Melt sandwich is amazing. I'm not even sure what all went into the sandwich, but there was a lot going on in there, and it was all delicious. Great friendly vibe here too. We'll be back!

Today, our friend brought us to Garden City to walk along the river, and then over to Uncle Guiseppe's for lunch. It is a small, seemingly authentic New York deli that serves a great number of different sandwiches, along with specialty drinks, like sodas, sparkling water, and lemonade. They also well things like pastries and, of interest to us, jarred roasted tomatoes. My wife had the #9 Monte Cristo, and I had the #3 Bonanza. Delicious. I also had a Manhattan Special Black Cherry soda, also super yummy. My mistake, not realizing what I was doing, was to order "whole" vs "half" sandwiches. The whole are footlong. I ate the entire sandwich, holy moly! My wife brought half home. Next time I would probably order a half. The owner, who I will call Guiseppe, had the heavy East Coast accent, and checked on all of his customers, making sure they were happy and satisfied. This place is a little gem. We're already talking about our next visit to Garden City to walk and have lunch at Uncle Guiseppe's!

There's so much to choose from, which is great, but it might be a bit much for first-time visitors. It was quiet today, and the staff was very nice and helpful. We both ordered the soup and sandwich combo. The seating is a bit cold and not the most comfortable place to relax, but it's okay. My first big "yuck" was the beverage area. It was filthy! There was sticky liquid all over the counter and the floor! The floor was disgusting, not only with sticky soda but also crumbs under every table. By the time I sat down, I was sure it was my last visit here. The buzzer went off, and I walked up to get our food only to be told it wasn't ready! (What?) Anyway, I got it, and it looked really good! I had some hot Italian sandwich and tomato soup. It was amazing! I also got a small piece of a baguette that was wonderful! My wife had broccoli and cheese soup and said it was wonderful as well. She also had a one off custom sandwich that she loved. I hope they take a bit more pride in their store and clean it up as we really did enjoy there food. So many new places coming to town this kind of experience can hurt. We made our way in and waited till they showed up. The vibe was chill. There was another gentleman eating his burger. My husband and I checked out the menu while we waited. After my in laws showed up, we got what we wanted all lined to and ordered. I got the cheeseburger tonight with no bun and extra onions. I also good a side of zucchini fries. It's been about a year since we have eaten here and I remember the zucchini fries being so good! My burger looked fabulous! The zucchini fries had a nice golden crust to them. I was ready to dig in. I would have liked to put ketchup and mustard on my burger but unfortunately there were no to go packets of either. I can't really use communal sauces so I had to pass on adding sauce to my burger or be able to dip my husband's fries in ketchup. My burger was tasty. I did order it with extra onions and didn't really get any extra. I also don't remember my zucchini fries being so minimal to an order. The side I got today had about 6 rounds in it. As an additional cost, I honestly thought it would be more than 6 small rounds. It's been a year since we have eaten here. The food was good as usual. I do enjoy all the pinball machines that you can play on. The staff is nice. I appreciate that everything we ate today was locally sourced. I am sure we will be back again soon. Hopefully sooner than later.
