Lemon Tree makes a good sandwich. Located right downtown the sandwiches have decent bread. The service was quick and the staff will bring your order to the table. I enjoyed the soup which is one option for a side and you still get a full sandwich. I recommend you sit outside on a warm day and enjoy the ambiance. This is more upscale than some of the large chains which I appreciated.

Loved this little corner breakfast, lunch and afternoon pick me up spot in downtown Boise. The staff welcome you in and it feels comfortable immediately. **The Lemon Tree Company **eatery is two stories. You order as you enter and can choose seats downstairs or better yet upstairs. While second floor requires taking the stairs is is like being in a loft at a friend place. Multiple tables with views of the street (and the first floor) that is a quieter area than downstairs. Restrooms for customers are by the kitchen under the stairs. The whole restaurant is Intimate, cozy, casual, trendy and fun. Perfect to meet family and/or friends and enjoy good, unique creations. The food was Divine! I came because I heard about the pear & sausage sandwich, various lemonades and Lemosas. Those menu items alone are worth checking out. The Pear and Sausage sandwich is a combination that I would never make or order until now but it was so tasty! The fennel jam and pear vinaigrette, fresh pear & sausage pieces with mixed greens were so delish. Every bite was enjoyable. We all wanted the tomato basil soup but it was out already at lunch. The Peruvian sandwich was good as well especially for meat lovers. The Lemosa is a must try drink. Just pick a lemonade and they add Brut sparkling wine. The different types of lemonades were so fun and fruity. Everything we got was consumed and enjoyed. You have to try this if you are in downtown Boise before 4pm

Had lunch and saw an employee texting and making sandwiches - it's disgusting. Not to mention the floor had gloves and is filthy in this photo. Sad to see this place spiral cause I left 5 stars a few years ago. I'm disappointed in you Lemon Tree Co.

Very cool little spot in downtown Boise. Order from the blackboard at the counter and leave a name. There is a nice room upstairs that has tables, tunes, and toasty warm temps on a cold day. I had the half sandwich (Rueben )with a can of seltzer and a beet and goat cheese salad. The half sandwich is really a whole! It's big and comes on a sizable roll. The beet salad is tasty. The menu overall is unique in its offerings and definitely not "classics " in the deli circle, but it suits them well.

Kind of on the fence about this one! I really enjoyed the strawberry basil lemonade. I had the "boursin" sandwich and I'm not sure which part of the sandwich played to my downfall but I did have an allergic reaction (allergic to peanuts - did make mention of it, but there's always a risk for cross-contamination since their menu does contain PB&J). The service was pretty speedy and the cashier had some great suggestions for me as a first-time guest. There were a lot of people sitting outside, inside was pretty bare just the staff and people waiting for their orders/Ubereats, but it's a pretty trendy/cute spot.

Lemon Tree....a hot spot among millennial hipsters that love the odd fig jelly and uncommon greens on their Sammy. Looking for a solid deli sandwich? Well this ain't it. Want a standard tastey samich that doesn't leave you guessing what it was you just processed in your mouth hole? Ya, not it. However, these are delicious lunch structures filled with not so common cuts and complimentary condiments. Sweet, salty, savory they got it goin on at lemon tree. The bread is artesian of course. Is it the kind of sandwich this manly man usually wants? No....but I think that's okay you know? Because it's still very good. Not in a Gen X slap your mama with my callused hand sort of way. But more of a gentle Gen Z, I hardly have the grip strength to hold this sandwich together so I'll structure it in a way to help you....kind of way. It's good. You should go try it. Just don't let it change who you are and eat up Boise.

I would actually give 3.5 stars for my experience, but I erred toward 3, rather than 4. The restaurant is cute and the staff was friendly. The food came out at a reasonable wait. There are many vegan and vegetarian options on the menu, in addition to "omnivore" options. Creative sandwiches where you read the ingredients and think, "I wonder what that tastes like together." I should have ordered one of these creations. The sandwiches are LARGE, served on ciabatta bread and with a small side salad, soup or chips. They're $15+. You can also order a half sandwich (I recommend, unless you're sharing, starving or taking the other half home for later), but this option is $16-18 and comes with a drink of your choice. I ordered the turkey Boursin both because it sounded good and because it was a favorite. I am a fan of Boursin, but had to keep reminding myself it wasn't goat cheese on the sandwich. (I'm also a fan of goat cheese. I just didn't like the combo here.) the sandwich was dry and lacking in the interesting flavor combo I was hoping for. I got the beet salad on the side and, although it was good, the greens were past their prime, so I didn't eat much of it. My daughter got the mushroom artichoke sandwich, which she really enjoyed and my husband got the Peruvian, which he reported was delicious. So, it could have just been that I made an unfortunate choice. If you're looking for a more basic turkey sandwich, get the turkey Boursin. I would still recommend giving this place a try. Maybe I'll come back sometime and try something else. However,

It's a very cute place and felt like the food is relatively healthy! The staff was friendly. I enjoyed the strawberry basil lemonade and the side salad that came with it. The sandwich wasn't bad but I'd rather have a different one. If I ever go back to this place, I'll try something else. I also thought it was interesting they didn't have any coffee there.

It says it's wheelchair accessible but it seems that there's a step into the restaurant. How accessible are we really talking here?

The lower floor and patio is accessible for wheel chairs. Upstairs dinning is not.

I came here for a late lunch around 2 pm after arriving in Boise. They weren't crowded at this point but business wasn't dead either. My waitress was very friendly. Inside has a lived-in, intimate feel, but it was pretty dark, so much that I wasn't sure they were actually open as I was opening the door. I had the French dip sandwich with a side of tomato basil soup. The sandwich was delicious and tasted homemade in the best way. The "meat" of the sandwich was seitan. I don't THINK it was a perfect meat replica (but I've never had a real French dip), but it was very flavourful. I loved the flavour and the thick cut of their bread, but it didn't have much structure and fell apart easily as I was eating which made the sandwich very messy. The tomato basil soup was a little different. It was slightly creamy but brothy and a little chunky - not a smooth puree. Again, it tasted great and was nice and light, which was a good contrast to the very rich sandwich. It was a little slow, especially considering they weren't that busy. I didn't really mind since I wasn't on a schedule, but this is something to be aware of - don't come here for a quick meal. Not cheap, but worth it for the quality.

Bittercreek provided me with just what I needed today. Warm and inviting service and a terrific selection of food and beverages for me to enjoy. Dined alone at the bar and everyone that I came into contact with did what I expect. Timely greet and informative service personnel. Hats off to the whole team. Was talked into a Chardonnay from the Willamette Valley and it was spectacular. I usually stick to Willamette Valley reds but went for it after a tiny taste. It's what I needed but didn't know it until it was offered. Too many times I stick to my wheelhouse and don't stray but was coerced by someone who I assumed was the inhouse shotcaller. I had two glasses and it went well with the Bowl of Corn Chowder I was told about. Served hot and with some semi crusty sourdough that hit the spot. Finished every spoonful and it brought me back to my time in New England. The soup was done right for sure. Noone trying too hard which is an issue when trying to recreate a coastal favorite while land locked in the mountain state of Idaho. Right before I had.my second glass of Chardonnay, I asked "the front of the house shot caller" about the selection of Rums and was offered a taste of one that could have been a contender for my follow up beverage. No mixer needed. Would have made a great sipper, as most good rums can be but I elected for the second glass of Chardonnay. Glad that I did. Was feeling a bit buzzed and full from my meal and had to exit stage left before trying a dessert. I'm sure it would have been epic but I'm thin for a reason and don't overindulge. Thank you Bittercreek! My visit with you all made me wonder why I hadn't been in since 2006 or 2007. I'll, certainly, be visitong more often and will bring others with. You've got a fan in me!

A couple of my friends showed up first, got a great table outside and ordered a couple apps to get the party started. I showed up after goodies and drinks were ordered. We started off with some chips and salsa and pountine. The chips and salsa looked good but the pountine was definitely calling my name! I love me some potatoes and these potatoes looked like they were going to be right up my alley! I dished up a good portion before my friends got some. They were kind to let me plate first cause of my new kidney. I didn't want to be too greedy so the portion I got was a few bites. Those few bites got me hooked so it was a must to get another order started. While my order of pountine was being worked on, I tried the pretzel with cheese and the hummus plate. The pretzel was perfectly salted. The cheese sauce was the perfect addition to the soft pretzel. I took a good amount of the hummus and Greek salad. The pita that came with it was a great vessel for the hummus. It was crispy with a slight chew to it. The hummus was clean tasting and rich. The Greek salad was so fresh. All the components of the salad tasted like they were just picked from the garden. You literally can't get anymore farm to table than that! It was so fresh! The second order of pountine came out. Everything about this appetizer was delicious! I love soggy, softer fries and these fries were the business! The gravy and cheese were the highlight of the dish for me. You can never go wrong with potatoes, cheese and gravy! There was a good amount of meat on the pountine. It was so tender! You can tell it was cooked with a lot of love and time! I took the rest home and I plan on hiding my box in the back of my fridge so my daughter can't get to it! We ended our happy hour with the beignets. Each one of these goodies were covered in powered sugar. The caramel sauce that was paired with it was devine! In all honesty, as full as I was, I could have polished off an order myself! They were the perfect dessert to end this fabulous meal. Bittercreek has been on my to go list for a hot minute. I'm so happy we got to come here and celebrate my birthday. The food was marvelous. Our server did a fantastic job taking care of us! Our waters were always filled. Our cocktails were never dry. And our plates were always filled cause food was always ordered on time for us. Homie was on point tonight! The venue can't be any more stunning. The weather was lovely. We were meant to be here today! In so happy we started my birthday week off at Bittercreek!

It has a nice ambience. There was a wine rack accent wall on the right. It is located in downtown Boise at the corner of Idaho and 8th St along restaurant row. Our server was Matthew B, and while he was a nice guy, he did not provide good service. It took him a while to get to our table, then after we ordered drinks, it took too long to get them. We then ordered appetizers but he didn't take our dinner orders. We waited too long for the appetizers, and then we ordered our dinners, which also took a while to come out. Runners brought our food out, not Matthew. He did not to refill the women's sodas, we had to ask. He did bring another glass of wine to one of the men, but that was because he was signaled. He did not ask the other people that ordered beer and cocktails if they wanted another. We never had our water glasses refilled. We told him about the birthday celebration, and all he said was, if we ordered dessert, he would put a candle on it. What? Most places serve a complimentary dessert for a birthday celebration. He also took too long to bring us our checks. We're all good tippers. We gave him 15%; he didn't deserve it. The food was OK, not spectacular, but overpriced. As far as the apetizers, the asparagus fries were not that flavorful, though nicely crusted. The cauliflower was just OK, likewise the chicken wings. I did like the honey and balsamic grilled brussel sprouts. Speaking for my wife and I, she liked the BAM Sammy. The side salad was average. I ordered the Urban Burger. While the patty was cooked well, it was small. I can get a bigger, better burger that costs less at any number of restaurants we frequent, including a few near us (we live in Star). I did like the fries. Crispy, with I believe Parmesan cheese coating them. My friend said his smoked salmon salad was just OK. We found it very loud, and difficult to hear each other in conversation. Needless to say, we have no plans to return to Fork.

Note, online it calls for a dress code of business casual, so my husband wore a collard shirt and I had a nice dress on. The servers were not dressed business casual at all. Most had plain t-shirts on, one had overalls (cute, but still not business casual attire) and quite a few had face/body glitter on. I assume the glitter was because it was Treefort that weekend. Anyways.... After our server finally canoe over and took our order, service was smooth. Dinner was delicious. I got the chicken and mushrooms and it was a very generous portion. My husband got the sablefish and was pleased with his meal as well. Note about the bathrooms, they are outside through a door and down a couple of hallways. The mix of Thai and Burmese dishes really sets it apart from other places in town. The food was overall really flavorful dishes like khao soi papaya salad and other northern Thai dishes , and everything tastes fresh and well-prepared. The flavors feel more traditional compared to a lot of Thai spots around here. The restaurant itself is on the smaller side, which gives it a cozy vibe, but it can feel a little tight and busy during peak hours, so it's not the best place for big groups unless you plan ahead. Service was friendly and welcoming, and food came out pretty quickly even when it was busy. Overall, it's a great spot for quality Thai food in Boise. definitely one of the places I'd come back to when I want something more authentic and a little different.

You can truly taste how fresh the ingredients are -- bright herbs, perfectly balanced sauces, and flavors that taste authentic and thoughtfully prepared. I grew up helping at my mom's Thai restaurant when I was young, so I'm pretty picky when it comes to Thai food. This place exceeded my expectations. The flavors brought me back -- fresh, vibrant, and made with care. We ordered: * Pad Thai * Mango Salad * Seafood Soup * Yellow Curry * Fried Chicken with Sticky Rice * Thai Tea The Pad Thai was perfectly seasoned with great texture. The mango salad was fresh and crisp with amazing balance. The seafood soup was rich and comforting. The yellow curry was smooth, flavorful, and not overly heavy. The fried chicken with sticky rice was crispy, tender, and so satisfying. And the Thai tea? Absolutely perfect. On top of the incredible food, the service was friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend!
