The cod wasn't greasy/oily at all and tasted pretty good. The batter wasn't seasoned that much, so the flavor of the fish came through. The pieces were decent sized as well, nice and firm but not crunchy. The fries were lightly battered which have them a nice crunch. They were seasoned well, didn't really need ketchup. I would definitely eat at this truck again. It took almost 20 minutes for the order to be ready, but there was a crowd.

Pretty self explanatory, fish and chips. They also have clam chowder as an option but unfortunately they won't have it till February. Bummer since soup is so perfect in this cold weather. Today I ordered just the fish with a side of slaw. The fish came out beautifully! They were fried to a nice golden color. You get 3 pieces of cod. Biting into the fish, it's crunchy and flaky. But one you start hitting the middle of the fish, the batter isn't as crispy. I wish they would sprinkle a little salt after it's fried. It needed just a hint of salt to it. They do give you a side of tarter sauce. It does add more flavor but you can only slap so much tarter sauce on it. I'm going to take the rest home and just try lemon and salt flakes on it. The coleslaw looked fresh. It came with a side of sesame dressing. It was good and clean tasting. The crew was really nice. I did have an ordering mis hap. They were kind and tired to fix it. My friend and I just ended up resolving the issue ourselves. Overall it was good and I'm glad I got to try it.

Was talked into a Chardonnay from the Willamette Valley and it was spectacular. I usually stick to Willamette Valley reds but went for it after a tiny taste. It's what I needed but didn't know it until it was offered. Too many times I stick to my wheelhouse and don't stray but was coerced by someone who I assumed was the inhouse shotcaller. I had two glasses and it went well with the Bowl of Corn Chowder I was told about. Served hot and with some semi crusty sourdough that hit the spot. Finished every spoonful and it brought me back to my time in New England. The soup was done right for sure. Noone trying too hard which is an issue when trying to recreate a coastal favorite while land locked in the mountain state of Idaho. Right before I had.my second glass of Chardonnay, I asked "the front of the house shot caller" about the selection of Rums and was offered a taste of one that could have been a contender for my follow up beverage. No mixer needed. Would have made a great sipper, as most good rums can be but I elected for the second glass of Chardonnay. Glad that I did. The lamb burger had definitely a good kick to it, but was about medium medium well. But I'm not holding that against this place because the burger tasted absolutely phenomenal. The second visit I went with a large party and we all were pretty enthusiastic with our conversation. Our server name was Kierstan. She did an amazing job handling our whole table. The table start off with appetizers of wings, as well as chips and salsa for the whole table. Multiple drink drinks were ordered and she handled that with care. The bathroom was immaculate and the cooks cooked very cleanly and both servers did a great job at two different times. They were helpful talking through the menu. Food was okay but not that impressive. I mean really it was a diner. For the price it was reasonable, but I felt the sandwich was over salted. Fries were okay, but nothing to write home about. Shakes were pretty tasty. Basically this is your basic middle of the road diner. You will find better, you'll also find worse out there.

The beer and cornmeal tempura batter was extremely thick (nearly 3/4 of an inch in some spots) and the fish was overcooked. Additionally, the blue cheese dressing on his side salad was very runny and tasted off. It was disappointing enough that we had to send it back. We replaced it with The Spicy Italian pizza. This was a total 180--it arrived looking beautiful, and the combination of the meats, pepperoncinis, and hot honey was absolutely delicious. Our server, Casey P., was generally good and attentive, though we did have to wait to start our meal because we weren't initially provided with napkins or silverware. A minor note on the atmosphere: the table we were seated at had "gay" carved into the wood, which felt a bit out of place for the professional vibe of the rest of the establishment. Overall, the TNT Sando, the pizza, and the beers are worth coming back for, but the kitchen consistency on the fried items definitely needs some work.
