    Cheers! White IPA was delicious!

Refreshing take on open concept brewing! Brought our fur babies of course and they were welcomed without hesitation! The food was very tasty and no "leftovers" survived! The people were so friendly and the vibe was relaxed. We celebrated our 15 year anniversary there and they were so amazing and the bartender made us feel the love! We are not local but will make this our roadtrip stop in the future.

Fun low key brewery with friendly staff, good vibes and a great variety of beer. I felt like the styles were done well with flavors that complemented but didn't overpower them. Favorites were the pomegranate wheat ale, blood orange hef, and vanilla cream ale. Found it pretty cheap for a beer flight ($2.75 per 4 oz pours). Also loved the darts!

Happened upon this place on a walk to another brewery and couldn't help but stop in for a drink and I'm soooo GLAD we did! This place is AMAZING and the staff is friendly and welcoming! They have a drink for everyone and they also offer food which looked amazing. I got a beer flight and I enjoyed every beer. The hefeweizen was my fave! All beers finished well and I love the ice bar! Everyone wants to keep their beers cold and the ice bar does just that! TO-GO: They have some options. Just ask! SWAG: They had a couple of metal tackers, some shirts, hats, etc.

With so many breweries in and around downtown Boise it can be hard to pick one. We chose to come here because they had a good variety of beers on draft and also served food. Not to mention all the pictures of dogs on their Yelp page...though we sadly didn't see any while visiting. We were greeted with the warmest welcome from the bartender who was holding the place down. Wish I got his name because he was so friendly and gave the best service. The space is pretty large with lots of tables, some high tops, booths, and bar seating. You can also see into the brewing room and watch them make the beers. They have flights and pints, one in our party went with a flight and the rest of just got a single beer. None of us loved the beers we got, so we just stuck around for the one, but they were still enjoyable enough. I had gotten the blackberry sour which had a really nice sour flavor on the front end, but kinda fizzled out on the finish. My boyfriend got the pineapple IPA which I actually ended up liking more than my sour. To eat we ordered the soft pretzel and white dog fires. I don't normally like soft pretzels, but this one was actually amazing. It was so soft, and not kinda soft but still hard like most soft pretzels are, no this one was created different.

Service was phenomenal! Logan is a fabulous & knowledgeable server with a fantastic personality. I had the shotgun shells appetizer- sooo good with a kick for sure. Hubby had the chicken street tacos which he said were very good. I failed to take a photo . The Blood Orange Hef was really good & the Pineapple IPA! Fabulous!! The Blond Ale was good & the Po Campo Mexican Lager was very good. They'll let you sample the brews before ordering . We're from SLC, UT and will definitely be back!!

The delightful Vanilla Cream Ale from White Dog Brewing!

White Dog Brewing really provided me with a great beer experience at this location. I got several cream ales while visiting breweries on a recent road trip and the Vanilla Cream Ale I got here was phenomenal! The grainy, sweet and of course vanilla flavors combined themselves together so very well and was very refreshing. Nice and light this Cream Ale I could have easily had another pint of but I restrained myself. I highly recommend giving this brewery a try. They have two different locations in the Boise area which makes the brewery perhaps more reachable. I had excellent service here and would love to come back again. I would be tempted to (and did try a different beer at the other location) try other beer here but if that Vanilla Cream Ale is an option I may just not be able to waver in getting it again.

Chicken sandwich and Fries. Best fries ever!

Stopped here on a Thursday afternoon on a whim looking for food and drink after arriving in town. Easy parking! Cool menu. Bunch of TVs. Nicest bartender you'll meet. Wasn't busy so we could chat. Love the beer selection - I had the Mexican Lager and it was great. Sandwiches were good too and the absolute Best fries I've ever had. Would come back for sure!

Awesome place run by really nice people serving bomb food and booze. The Pineapple IPA was so good I had to ask for a second one! Hubby and I split the Beer & Bacon Burger (6 oz beef patty, house sliced bacon, scotch ale bacon sauce, bourbon bacon jam, beer onions, cheddar sauce on a toasted brioche) and honestly, shoulda ordered my own. It was massive but absolutely delicious and mouthwatering. It was cooked perfectly, (looks a little done in the pics but definitely served medium as requested), juicy and generously seasoned. The bacon jam really makes the whole thing chef's-freaking-kiss. I'm thankful they piled it on there. By the time I finished my half and I hoping my husband would share his portion with me - and he was thinking the same thing. We also split the White Dog Fries (hand cut fries with cheddar sauce, bacon and green onions), and while they were great, I would have been equally fine with regular fries and they could have used more of the goods considering they were +$4.00. Nonetheless the meal was great and I'll round my 4.5 up to 5 because Google says I have to. Service was great, atmosphere was welcoming and fun! The space is huge, so seats are able to be nicely spaced apart. We'll be back and I'll have to sample a flight this next time around. And get my own damn burger.

Ask the Community - White Dog Brewing

Is your tap room dog friendly?

Hi, Sarah! Our patio area is dog-friendly, but the Health Department said we cannot have dogs in the tap room because our staff delivers the food from the mobile kitchen to our customers. Hope you’ll still come visit!

Is this place okay to bring teens to and do they have outdoor seating?

Hi, Amy! We are family friendly and we do have a small patio, plus a garage door that we keep open during nice weather, which makes the inside feel a little like a patio, too! Hope to meet you soon!

She managed this big group without delay and with a positive attitude. Any appetizers here are epic and worth every penny. I recommend the steak chip nachos and jumbo wings. Ranch is homemade and delicious. Entrees like the fish n chips were delicious. The drunkin dip was hearty and full of massive flavor. The craft beer here is fantastic. The number 1 flight is enormous with 10 glasses of samples. Yum! We loved it here, and Shelby did a great job caring for us. Great job 10 Barrel!

I visited 10 Barrel Brewing recently with my fiancé, and while there were some high points…read moreregarding the flavors and service, the experience was a bit of a mixed bag. To start, I tried the Pickletini. As a fan of pickle-forward drinks, I found it "not bad"--a solid choice if you enjoy that briny profile. My fiancé opted for the All Ways Down Double IPA flight. At 9% ABV, it was a heavy hitter, but he really enjoyed the intense hop aroma and flavor provided by the Cryo Hops. For my main, I ordered the TNT Sando (Tri-Tip with bacon jam and garlic aioli) on Gaston's grilled focaccia. I requested it without pickles, and it was excellent. I paired it with the Black Bean and Veggie soup, which was a standout--perfectly delicious with a nice "zing" to it. Unfortunately, the meal hit a significant snag with my fiancé's Fish & Chips. The beer and cornmeal tempura batter was extremely thick (nearly 3/4 of an inch in some spots) and the fish was overcooked. Additionally, the blue cheese dressing on his side salad was very runny and tasted off. It was disappointing enough that we had to send it back. We replaced it with The Spicy Italian pizza. This was a total 180--it arrived looking beautiful, and the combination of the meats, pepperoncinis, and hot honey was absolutely delicious. Our server, Casey P., was generally good and attentive, though we did have to wait to start our meal because we weren't initially provided with napkins or silverware. A minor note on the atmosphere: the table we were seated at had "gay" carved into the wood, which felt a bit out of place for the professional vibe of the rest of the establishment. Overall, the TNT Sando, the pizza, and the beers are worth coming back for, but the kitchen consistency on the fried items definitely needs some work.
