Super nice team that works here! So friendly and talkative and supportive of finding you your perfect beer based on your tastes! So knowledgable! I tried a couple porters and loved them! I can't wait to go back for Thursday night bingo and to bring my Pup. They're dog friendly inside the establishment too!! They have board games and TVs and snacks like pizza, ice cream and bagged chips, as well as dog treats The vibe is so chill. I went at the perfect time today because no one was there yet (they started creeping in closer 2). So I was able to chat it up and get comfortable, since I'm new to town and just now exploring out. This is a great brewery for a few reasons: the service is great, the beer is tasty and the beer is really good. Not to mention that they have great branding. First off, Matt is an excellent beertender. He immediately let me sample beers in the style that I liked with which is a great touch since I was able to discover what I liked best. Few breweries do this well and Matt had it down. They have a great selection of beers ranging from Hefe's to sours to double IPA's. They also have a great environment and are kid and dog friendly. Our friends recommended Loose Screw and we had a great time here! I loved how all the games were free! My daughter enjoyed playing Pacman on the machine and played for a few hours. They were also very accommodating because my daughter doesn't eat pizza, but they allowed us to order takeout from the Italian restaurant next door. The beers were great. Loose Screw is still very low production but you can ironed out a lot of kinks for a brewery of this size. Highly recommend! read more

First of all, there ain't no 5's. That being said, this place is dangerous. The are some apartments adjacent to it that if I lived there, I'd have a plaque on one of the seats on the patio since I'd spend a great deal of time there. Great patio, even at 1:00 in the afternoon. Good selection on tap and the staff was friendly as were the other folks that were here, too. read more

Dog friendly but WOW ... be prepared to go to an indoor dog park. If drinking beer next to some of the regulars they allow the dogs paws up on the bar. Good beer but didnt go to sit next to a dog. Very Strange read more

This is a Great place to grab a beer or cider! I Finished a pedicure with my friend next door and decided to grab a beer afterwards. They have a super friendly staff and a great selection of Beer and Cider that rotates. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating for groups. They also have Televisions if you are wanting to watch a game. Every week Loose Screw has all kinds of fun events as well. read more

I've been here once or twice in the past but always got a growler to go. Decided to go hang out for a while the other day. I'm a wheat beer fan so I got a Hefeweizen and parked myself on the patio. Good sized crowd for a weeknight, everyone having a good time, positive atmosphere. Went and sat at the bar and had another Hefeweizen. Chatted for a bit with the bartender Mason who recommended I try the citrus solstice which I did. The beer was great, the conversation and atmosphere was very good, I also recommend the Slightly Screwed pilsner. Ended up having a nice, chill evening. I'll be back! read more

they have great beer, but don't go there for food. they only have 3 pizza choices, no salads. offered us bag of potato chips because the cheese pizza would take 30 minutes. the pizza tasted like it came from a frozen food box. we were told we could order out and have it delivered from another restaurant. they tried. wish we had known they don't actually serve food before we went there. food no, but great beer. read more

Finally a brewery for us crazy ones!! Loose Screw is a home away from home, the staff is a second family and we love the beers. The IPAs are my favorite and my husband loves their Amber. They offer bingo night, live shows and some days are chillax. We like to bring the kids and some days leave them with gma for date night!! Great idea for family/outside food friendly establishment considering this location is in the middle of Meridian suburbs and not downtown Boise. This is by far our family's favorite hang out in Meridian. Great beer and kid friendly. The patio is great in the summer and in the cold weather the tap room provides arcade games for entertainment. Loose Screw always comes up when we talk lunch plans for the weekend. The ice cream spot next door doesn't hurt either! The staff is super welcoming and our kids often find others to play around with. read more

Hi, my name is Mike, my wife and I own Loose Screw Beer Co. We’re a small independent craft brewery and the only one in Meridian! We have a family friendly taproom located at 1511 W McMillan, at the corner of McMillan and Linder. We have a wide variety of our locally brewed beer along with other non-beer options such as seltzer, cider, and wine. We also have several NA options including ones for the kiddos. We’re excited to share that we recently added pizza and ice cream to offer at our taproom. We host trivia on Tuesday’s at 6:30 and bingo also at 6:30 on Thursday’s, both free to play and open to all ages. We often host music on Friday nights and other events like paint nights, charcuterie board making, magic shows, comedy shows and more. We also love to host parties from birthdays, baby showers or any reason to throw a party! Come check us out! Cheers to the crazy ones!

I can make a meal off of multiple appetizers. We finally got food ordered when our last friend showed up. I got the salmon and shrimp crab cakes. I have left Sockeye hungry before after having dinner here so I also added a side of chili just in case. I was ready to eat! My crab and shrimp cakes came out looking fabulous. They were fried a nice golden brown. So crispy on the outside and savory on the inside. I love the aoili that was on top, it added an extra flair to the crab cake. 3 were in an order and it was the perfect amount. I smashed all 3 and they were so good! I did have a couple bites of the chili. It was hearty in meat and beans. Rich in flavor and filling. I'm looking forward to adding this chili to some fries with some cheese on top for dinner later. I know it's going to be so good. Our server did a great job tonight. Despite the fact that she had to wait till our last friend to show up, our server was on top of it. Our water was always filled, she checked up on us and always made sure we were happy. As a past server, it's hard to manage time between tables when the whole party isn't there. Our server didn't have that issue today. My girlfriends and I had a great time. We enjoyed the food, enjoyed the atmosphere and was happy that we got to do this all on the patio. I always forget that there's a Sockeye by us off of Hill Rd. I will have to check that one out soon to grab more crab cakes. I do look foward to coming back to this location and enjoying another round of appetizers on the patio here.

Beer cheese burger was delish. Fish and chips were a miss. Good breading but the fish had a lot of veins and fishy parts even for being fish :-) BUT...... the hand cut fries were excellent! Service was attentive and quick. Wouldn't go out of our way to go back but with the dogs, more likely.

Gluten free blue cheese and bacon fried. This is a half order and I shared with my husband. We had to take a lot of it to go.

I've had the opportunity to talk with Chris, the owner, many times, and I know firsthand that he uses fresh fruit in his beers, which really comes through in the quality and flavor. What truly sets Wild Frontier apart is the atmosphere. It feels like sitting around a campfire with friends, comfortable, welcoming, and unpretentious. It's the perfect place to unwind after a long day. The environment is quiet, cozy, and filled with genuinely good people. The staff are also exceptional. Every team member I've met, Ariel, Frank, Patrick, Justin, and Katie, has been an absolute pleasure to talk with.
