I absolutely recommend this place! They have an excellent menu and they have brunch too with a dedicated menu!! I haven't tried too many of their menu items, the two main dishes I have had are stellar which leads me to believe, the food here is all around good (I will update my review if I have a different experience). Chicky Chicky Bang Bang (Tikka masala marinated chicken breast) and the Peanut Butter Burger are pretty darn stellar. If you can't decide from their menu with so many delectable choices, do one of these. The sweet tator fries are some of the best I have had in a very long time. Ordering feels confusing. As someone that likes to follow directions, I didn't know if ordering with my server or the QR code was appropriate. Follow my lead, either works! Everyone that has been our server has been patient and fun. Trivia night can get a bit packed and still, service has been great. This is in a "strip mall" type location, (plenty of parking). Make sure not to judge it as you drive by or if you look it up. It is a stellar place for a good beer and definitely good food.

I came here one Saturday night with my daughter. It's sort of hidden off of Overland and is an interesting mix of activities, TVs, and decor. I had several different beers and besides the first one of which I don't recall the name, they were pretty distinct and good. My daughter's drink was very good and we shared some fries. In my opinion, Voodoo is a cool place to just relax and have a conversation with a friend or buddy. It's not loud, which I'm thankful and the service was really good and attentive. I'll be back to Lounge soon to get my Voodoo on.

Lots of space and a kids' play area. Interesting mix for a bar. Seating is miserable. Small seats may increase how many people can fit in the place, but the size is just the most uncomfortable we have ever experienced. It does not encourage stay very long and continue to spend money. Bad move. Fries and sandwich were good. Pizza had lots of oil on it. The spring mix topping is wrong for this pizza. Maybe arugula like other pizza providers use will hold up better. The spring mix and oil made the pizza a limp, hot mess. Sticker shock when the bill arrived. New place with a long way to go before it is competitive.

So far, so good! This newest brewery is from Pennsylvania, but is locally owned & operated. 24 taps feature their flagship beers such as Empty Calories (light lager) and Good Vibes (West coast IPA). I had the ISSA IPA and Shawn had the Good Vibes & the Non-Mater- both West Coast IPAs. The pretzels were good. Not as think & fluffy inside for me, but the sauces were great. The finger steaks got a good review from Shawn: breading similar to Busters, these are strips vs chunks. The side of hand-cut fries was was excellent. Service has been fantastic! There you have it! I'll add more as I'm sure we'll be returning.

The food, drinks, and service are all amazing!! We were in town for kids sports so we took our kids with us for lunch. The kids meals are $8 and they get several items. We had the Buffalo mac and cheese and it was very good. My husband enjoyed the beer and the house made hard seltzers were literally the best drink I have ever had at a brewery. If you are in Boise, stop by and give them a try.

I have mixed feelings about this place. I've been here four times. They always seem to be out of one of their own beers. They're a brewing company so I understand guest taps, but the majority of your beers should be your own. Went last night for dinner for the first time. Many of their beers were gone. They only had a few of their own on tap. Disappointing. Had food for the first time. Fried pickle chips were awesome! Great batter. Also had a voo-dill pickle pizza. The pizza was super good. Would definitely come back for it. Also had the peanut butter buffalo wings. I liked them as well. So overall, I give the food a thumbs up. Have to do better with your beer though!

The food here is so so good! The wings are amazing a bit pricey but they are huge and worth it! The service is always amazing! Today we went for my son's birthday, they were so accommodating in helping get a table as fast as they could since they only had 4 tops and we had 6 people. I asked if they do anything for birthdays (completely okay if they didn't) and they gave my son this sweet surprise as a result! Highly recommend and will continue to support them! Also their kids meals are huge and we always enjoy a couple rounds of Uno while we are there!

Ok, so you want something unique? You want a good beer and good food. You want a nice ambience also? How about good service? You do t want a hundred page menu cause who got Tim for that? Easy to get to, but of the beaten path? But of course someone in your party wants a sale, not just pub food. But the kids are going to need a soda also. Well, here you are. Voodoo Brewing is amazing. Oh, wait, someone complained about the seating? Holy cow, sit at a normal table ya whiner. They have those. But the high tables made from pallets? Those are cool. I didn't come here because it feels like Dennys. I came for the experience. And experience you get. This place must be experienced to be believed. Amazing food, unique atmosphere. Not warehousy like some breweries, but comfortable but definitely in Denny like. I had the Cuban burger. A-amazing. My wife had the salad with grilled chicken and she loved it. Gotta go.

    Beer Flight
    Stephanie S.

Visited the location in Meridian recently (no Yelp page yet). Liked the selection of beers. Enjoyed a flight of four beers. The imperial stout was my favorite (not in flight). Their fried pickle pizza was also surprisingly good. The wait staff was very helpful and gave honest opinions when asked for suggestions. The bathroom was clean. The only negative -- and the reason for 4 stars, not 5 -- was the abundant amount of flies inside the restaurant. Get a bug zapper or fly strip, and I'll be back.

Very relaxed bar - perfect for a chill night with friends. Great for groups with big tables, lots of people playing games and a big bar area. The drinks were good, lots of beers and fruity cocktails. Not my favorite drinks but they were alright. There was a ton a food options and specials! Quick service and fun atmosphere.

Bittercreek provided me with just what I needed today. Warm and inviting service and a terrific selection of food and beverages for me to enjoy. Dined alone at the bar and everyone that I came into contact with did what I expect. Timely greet and informative service personnel. Hats off to the whole team. Was talked into a Chardonnay from the Willamette Valley and it was spectacular. I usually stick to Willamette Valley reds but went for it after a tiny taste. It's what I needed but didn't know it until it was offered. Too many times I stick to my wheelhouse and don't stray but was coerced by someone who I assumed was the inhouse shotcaller. I had two glasses and it went well with the Bowl of Corn Chowder I was told about. Served hot and with some semi crusty sourdough that hit the spot. Finished every spoonful and it brought me back to my time in New England. The soup was done right for sure. Noone trying too hard which is an issue when trying to recreate a coastal favorite while land locked in the mountain state of Idaho. Right before I had.my second glass of Chardonnay, I asked "the front of the house shot caller" about the selection of Rums and was offered a taste of one that could have been a contender for my follow up beverage. No mixer needed. Would have made a great sipper, as most good rums can be but I elected for the second glass of Chardonnay. Glad that I did. Was feeling a bit buzzed and full from my meal and had to exit stage left before trying a dessert. I'm sure it would have been epic but I'm thin for a reason and don't overindulge. Thank you Bittercreek! My visit with you all made me wonder why I hadn't been in since 2006 or 2007. I'll, certainly, be visitong more often and will bring others with. You've got a fan in me!

I don't know that I have ever given a brewery a 5 Star review...this makes sense!…read more I have been doing my little Fish & Chips search through Boise and I will have to say, this place is Hands Down the best yet that I have found! Now I have been here a few times and I like the place. The service is good, especially in the bar. The place is very open and has great light and fresh air which I always love. Add to that some great food and creative cocktails and you have a winner! They have a great Old Fashion that is a creation of one of the bartenders and I think is just a fantastic drink! Balanced flavor, a little sweet but not too sweet...with a nice bourbon finish to it! Now back to the Fish & Chips...I have had them twice now, with the same cocktail to chase them down. These are what Fish & Chips are meant to be. The batter is light with a great crunch, not heavily breaded but a light flavorful batter! Fries are good, home-made tartar sauce which always hits...and all the items you want with them...lemon, vinegar and for me mustard! I will be back, over and over again. for a drink, some good service and the best Fish & Chips when I am having that craving! KT

To start, I tried the Pickletini. As a fan of pickle-forward drinks, I found it "not bad"--a solid choice if you enjoy that briny profile. My fiancé opted for the All Ways Down Double IPA flight. At 9% ABV, it was a heavy hitter, but he really enjoyed the intense hop aroma and flavor provided by the Cryo Hops. For my main, I ordered the TNT Sando (Tri-Tip with bacon jam and garlic aioli) on Gaston's grilled focaccia. I requested it without pickles, and it was excellent. I paired it with the Black Bean and Veggie soup, which was a standout--perfectly delicious with a nice "zing" to it. Unfortunately, the meal hit a significant snag with my fiancé's Fish & Chips. The beer and cornmeal tempura batter was extremely thick (nearly 3/4 of an inch in some spots) and the fish was overcooked. Additionally, the blue cheese dressing on his side salad was very runny and tasted off. It was disappointing enough that we had to send it back. We replaced it with The Spicy Italian pizza. This was a total 180--it arrived looking beautiful, and the combination of the meats, pepperoncinis, and hot honey was absolutely delicious. Our server, Casey P., was generally good and attentive, though we did have to wait to start our meal because we weren't initially provided with napkins or silverware. A minor note on the atmosphere: the table we were seated at had "gay" carved into the wood, which felt a bit out of place for the professional vibe of the rest of the establishment. Overall, the TNT Sando, the pizza, and the beers are worth coming back for, but the kitchen consistency on the fried items definitely needs some work.

My girlfriends and I decided we needed to get some grub and enjoy the patio weather today so we all picked Sockeye to hit up for our monthly outing. Our last friend who is notoriously late allowed is some extra time to really check out the whole menu without feeling rushed. Happy hour was going on so of course the apps were calling to me. I can make a meal off of multiple appetizers. We finally got food ordered when our last friend showed up. I got the salmon and shrimp crab cakes. I have left Sockeye hungry before after having dinner here so I also added a side of chili just in case. I was ready to eat! My crab and shrimp cakes came out looking fabulous. They were fried a nice golden brown. So crispy on the outside and savory on the inside. I love the aoili that was on top, it added an extra flair to the crab cake. 3 were in an order and it was the perfect amount. I smashed all 3 and they were so good! I did have a couple bites of the chili. It was hearty in meat and beans. Rich in flavor and filling. I'm looking forward to adding this chili to some fries with some cheese on top for dinner later. I know it's going to be so good. Our server did a great job tonight. Despite the fact that she had to wait till our last friend to show up, our server was on top of it. Our water was always filled, she checked up on us and always made sure we were happy. As a past server, it's hard to manage time between tables when the whole party isn't there.
