Thai Peanut Noodle with fried chicken
    Monique W.

The food here was really good. We ordered the soy glazed brussel sprouts. I think it would taste better with a balsamic glaze rather than the kewpie, but it was still very good. My friend had the grilled chicken sando. He ate all of it and said it was really good. I ordered the peanut noodles, $15, and added on friend chicken, $6. It was really good, had a ton of veggies in it. The service was good. They didn't bother us, came by a couple of times. It is in the Hyde park area, so good luck With parking.

The food was so nice. Light and yummy. Every beer I tried was fantastic. Olivia and Todd at the bar were knowledgeable and fun.

Really laidback place to eat and hang out! Very clean, even the outside where people can hang out and eat. They also have a seating area that faces 13th street; to see all the shops and the community walking around! Dogs are welcome and the friendly atmosphere is perfect! I had a waitress, Victoria, who was very attentive, very kind, and very welcoming, especially being my first time going! I ordered the Mediterranean Salad and the Dry-Rub Wings...YUMMM! I also prefer a "Basil, Please" Mocktail and that sucker was delicious!! Well done!

Came here on a Friday mid-morning and we were immediately greeted and guided to where we could sit. I loved the ambiance and friendliness. We sat in the back by the large windows. They had street bike racing on the TV's (extraaa points from me because who cares about football or baseball, honestly lol). It was a perfect day outside, so the sunshine shinning in was perfect. Olivia was our waitress and couldn't have been happier. She made our experience exceptional from start to finish. I'm considerably older than her, but immediately felt like "besties." She made great recommendations with food and beer. I will request her section every time I come here. I asked her opinion when ordering and she said the Bahn Mi and Brussel Sprouts were her go to, so naturally I went with her suggestion. The gentleman I came with couldn't decide between two things, so I said go with what she suggests and he did. The dry rub wings were spectacular and the tots were good too, but in my opinion the sprouts were the best!!! I can't wait to come back here in the near future and see my Aries "bestie" lol. I wish you all the best daaaling, I'll see you soon!!!

Our first meal in Boise, Idaho, and we were thrilled to take a break from traveling at Lost Grove Brewing. My husband enjoyed the beer here, but I cannot remember the ones he ordered! The patio we dined on was nice (they have 2 large patios) , and really cool place to people a watch and enjoy the weather. Service was good. I ordered the drunken noodles, but wasn't entirely impressed. I am spoiled by the restaurants from Chicago and Dallas though. The noodles were a bit too fishy for my taste, and the pork was chewy!

Went for a walk looking for some lunch on a nice sunny afternoon. This place looked like the spot for me -- outdoor seating and brews. My server gave me the option to find a seat which was nice because I was doing some remote work from my laptop, and found this little high bar top that secluded me from others. I ordered the dry rub wings and also requested a side of bbq sauce. I absolutely loved the rub! Many customers also complimented my plate saying they'll order that. This might be my usual order from now on. I believe my beer was the First Sight, and did not disappoint.

Shitty picture. Superb food. I split time between Boise and San Diego and lost grove is legit the only food I miss when I'm not in town. Did not expect to find great Asian fusion in a hipster part of Boise. The Hyde park one is absolute fire

Bittercreek provided me with just what I needed today. Warm and inviting service and a terrific selection of food and beverages for me to enjoy. Dined alone at the bar and everyone that I came into contact with did what I expect. Timely greet and informative service personnel. Hats off to the whole team. Was talked into a Chardonnay from the Willamette Valley and it was spectacular. I usually stick to Willamette Valley reds but went for it after a tiny taste. It's what I needed but didn't know it until it was offered. Too many times I stick to my wheelhouse and don't stray but was coerced by someone who I assumed was the inhouse shotcaller. I had two glasses and it went well with the Bowl of Corn Chowder I was told about. Served hot and with some semi crusty sourdough that hit the spot. Finished every spoonful and it brought me back to my time in New England. The soup was done right for sure. Noone trying too hard which is an issue when trying to recreate a coastal favorite while land locked in the mountain state of Idaho. Right before I had.my second glass of Chardonnay, I asked "the front of the house shot caller" about the selection of Rums and was offered a taste of one that could have been a contender for my follow up beverage. No mixer needed. Would have made a great sipper, as most good rums can be but I elected for the second glass of Chardonnay. Glad that I did. Was feeling a bit buzzed and full from my meal and had to exit stage left before trying a dessert. I'm sure it would have been epic but I'm thin for a reason and don't overindulge. Thank you Bittercreek! My visit with you all made me wonder why I hadn't been in since 2006 or 2007. I'll, certainly, be visitong more often and will bring others with. You've got a fan in me!

I don't know that I have ever given a brewery a 5 Star review...this makes sense!…read more I have been doing my little Fish & Chips search through Boise and I will have to say, this place is Hands Down the best yet that I have found! Now I have been here a few times and I like the place. The service is good, especially in the bar. The place is very open and has great light and fresh air which I always love. Add to that some great food and creative cocktails and you have a winner! They have a great Old Fashion that is a creation of one of the bartenders and I think is just a fantastic drink! Balanced flavor, a little sweet but not too sweet...with a nice bourbon finish to it! Now back to the Fish & Chips...I have had them twice now, with the same cocktail to chase them down. These are what Fish & Chips are meant to be. The batter is light with a great crunch, not heavily breaded but a light flavorful batter! Fries are good, home-made tartar sauce which always hits...and all the items you want with them...lemon, vinegar and for me mustard! I will be back, over and over again. for a drink, some good service and the best Fish & Chips when I am having that craving! KT

I visited 10 Barrel Brewing recently with my fiancé, and while there were some high points…read moreregarding the flavors and service, the experience was a bit of a mixed bag. To start, I tried the Pickletini. As a fan of pickle-forward drinks, I found it "not bad"--a solid choice if you enjoy that briny profile. My fiancé opted for the All Ways Down Double IPA flight. At 9% ABV, it was a heavy hitter, but he really enjoyed the intense hop aroma and flavor provided by the Cryo Hops. For my main, I ordered the TNT Sando (Tri-Tip with bacon jam and garlic aioli) on Gaston's grilled focaccia. I requested it without pickles, and it was excellent. I paired it with the Black Bean and Veggie soup, which was a standout--perfectly delicious with a nice "zing" to it. Unfortunately, the meal hit a significant snag with my fiancé's Fish & Chips. The beer and cornmeal tempura batter was extremely thick (nearly 3/4 of an inch in some spots) and the fish was overcooked. Additionally, the blue cheese dressing on his side salad was very runny and tasted off. It was disappointing enough that we had to send it back. We replaced it with The Spicy Italian pizza. This was a total 180--it arrived looking beautiful, and the combination of the meats, pepperoncinis, and hot honey was absolutely delicious. Our server, Casey P., was generally good and attentive, though we did have to wait to start our meal because we weren't initially provided with napkins or silverware. A minor note on the atmosphere: the table we were seated at had "gay" carved into the wood, which felt a bit out of place for the professional vibe of the rest of the establishment. Overall, the TNT Sando, the pizza, and the beers are worth coming back for, but the kitchen consistency on the fried items definitely needs some work.

I will say the staff here are extremely nice and their drinks both alcoholic and non-alcoholic are great but food was a bit disappointing for me. I know I am going to sound like a complete weirdo listing what I ordered (which yeah, I am.. what can I say, I have unique taste buds) .. I ordered a lavender lemonade, a maple pecan cream soda and for food the "Peanut Butter Jelly Time" burger with a side of "VooDill" fries. The burger is like a smash burger topped with a blackberry jam and creamy peanut butter and the fries had dill seasoning. The fries were actually pretty good and worth the uncharged for the dill seasoning, the drinks I got were very tasty - if you like lavender like I do, definitely get their lavender lemonade! I like that it doesn't taste watered down or super perfume like, it was a perfect balance of lavender flavor!! The canned maple pecan cream soda was good as well, it reminds me of the Butter Beer you can get in Universal Studio's Harry Potter Wizarding World but it also tasted like it had such an insane amount of sugar that my heart might explode so probably better to just not get that. Now when it comes to the burger, I've had a few peanut butter burgers and while I know it's strange I typically enjoy them and this one could have been very good but it tasted like they put half a container of creamy peanut butter on a burger and gave me only the tiniest bit of blackberry jam. All I could really taste eating this was the peanut butter and I like peanut butter but it wasn't pleasant and definitely not worth $15. The little hint of blackberry jam was delicious but gone after the first bite.. they need to balance out the portions of the PB and Jam. If you're a fan of PB burgers, I recommend going to Sid's Garage at the Village in Meridian instead.. they have a PBJ burger that'll knock your socks off- and in theirs you can taste all the flavors, not just a pile of peanut butter!

My girlfriends and I decided we needed to get some grub and enjoy the patio weather today so we all picked Sockeye to hit up for our monthly outing. Our last friend who is notoriously late allowed is some extra time to really check out the whole menu without feeling rushed. Happy hour was going on so of course the apps were calling to me. I can make a meal off of multiple appetizers. We finally got food ordered when our last friend showed up. I got the salmon and shrimp crab cakes. I have left Sockeye hungry before after having dinner here so I also added a side of chili just in case. I was ready to eat! My crab and shrimp cakes came out looking fabulous. They were fried a nice golden brown. So crispy on the outside and savory on the inside. I love the aoili that was on top, it added an extra flair to the crab cake. 3 were in an order and it was the perfect amount. I smashed all 3 and they were so good! I did have a couple bites of the chili. It was hearty in meat and beans. Rich in flavor and filling. I'm looking forward to adding this chili to some fries with some cheese on top for dinner later. I know it's going to be so good. Our server did a great job tonight. Despite the fact that she had to wait till our last friend to show up, our server was on top of it.
