All the bad reviews are kind of shocking based off my first experience EVER dining here. We went on a thursday evening and sat at the bar. I ordered a well drink and my husband ordered a flight and the drinks were delivered right away. Husband enjoyed the flight of the house beers. We placed food order for chicken tenders and the French dip and the food was delivered super fast and was hot & fresh. We both liked our meals and were super satisfied. Closing out was easy with the toast tab they bring to your table. I'm a fan of the ram and really don't understand all these negative reviews.

As far as reubens go, this one is near the top. Just the right amount of sauce. Sauerkraut was just right. Bread was crispy, not soggy like a lot of reubens get. Definitely getting this again!! 4 starts because the milkshake was mediocre. Wouldn't get the shake again.

I've been searching the area for a decent burger and decided to give the Ram a try so I could also grab a drink on a Friday night. I walked in and went to sit at the bar. I was greeted by Zach who was very friendly and attentive. I asked if they had any ciders and they currently have 2Towns which is my favorite. Then I scanned the menu... sooooo many options that sound amazing, but again I was in search of a good burger. I decided on the Black and Blue... and I am telling you, it was PERFECT. I got it medium, so it was a little juicy, exactly how I like it. The flavors of the burger were fantastic. Definitely made my night and I will be back! Service was exceptional throughout and I watched Zach interact with other customers and you can tell he genuinely loves his job. It's just really nice to see.

Loved this place! They have cold beer and good food! We split a New York strip there a couple weeks ago and will definitely be back to check out more beers and more of the menu!

Expensive for what you get. Bland salad, dry sandwiches. Good lemonade though. $50 for lunch with no alcohol, no dessert.

With its varied menu and delicious happy hour selection this place could be a favorite for a wide variety of the local population. Classy, welcoming with engaging staff. While the selections of taps are diverse and smart for diners, it is the kitchen that is the real star here. We tried the Happy Hour fare (3-5 pm). See the pics for details. We also tried the Kobe sliders, but they fell short of the Chicken Sliders with their tender, juicy cuts of breast. The lineup of drinks are on full display at the bar and with scannable menus. This is a solid place for bringing friends or family for a gathering - yes, like the name suggests "Common". If anyone in your group cannot find a drink and meal to their liking, then you need to replace that person from your social circle or family. 2 hour free parking directly behind the building makes this location much better than the downtown businesses in the liberal ghetto of Boise where they will soon tax the air you breathe. Here, the pricing will not require you to take out a second mortgage as the Boise elites would have you do for eating in their downtown. It is no surprise that more quality dining places are opening in cities like Eagle, Caldwell, Nampa and Meridian where Idahoans can enjoy life.

The rib appetizer was also cooked to dry bones. The steak fritters were battered and deep fried? Why in the world would you do that to a perfectly good piece of meat? My guess is because it wasn't a good piece of meat. That also was overcooked and just weird. Definitely overpriced as the food was not good. Maybe they have something they are known for and we missed something? Either way, too many options out there to ever try again. It was a miss for us. The set up and ambiance was nice and they were very busy so people must like it. We sat at the bar and service was fine.

My mom wanted a burger, specifically a Guacamole Bacon Burger and fries, and we were in the neighborhood, having just left Rave. We went through the drive-thru and placed the order. We were shocked at the total, which came to nearly $17.00, but understood that in this economy and with grocery prices, it was what it was. We arrived at the window and waited, and waited, and waited. I knew that they cooked everything to order, but it felt like an eternity had passed since paying. Finally, the order was ready and we went home. Not only was I disappointed with the burger, but I was upset that what we paid for and the time we spent did not equal what we received. The amount of Guacamole was like a spread, and there was no deft to that burger. For the amount that we paid, that burger should have been loaded. My mom made the most appropriate comment, " Honey, Somebody shrunk my burger!" We won't be back, but at least I have my memories of a time long ago, in which Main Street made delicious burgers made with love and care and stacked with all the fixings just like in my pictures.

Sometimes it can get busy at lunch and there are only so many tables to be had. The menu is short, but they have been delivering great burgers for a long time. Stopped in today and split a burger with the main squeeze. We had the Five Alarm burger. The burgers are 1/3lb and the meat had great flavor. No real heat for us, but some could find it spicy. Pickled jalapenos are hit and miss for heat anyway. Toasted bun and a good amount of toppings on the burger. The onion rings were tasty and fried perfectly. Buying a soda gets you one refill. Plenty of food for two seniors, I think.

He used to frequent this joint when it was off of Fairview so he knew what kind of service and food to expect. It was my first time so I was excited to see what they had to offer. Walking in, the place was bright and clean. I headed to the counter and this sweet gal greeted me. I got my husband his usual which is a grilled ham and cheese sammy. I ordered a bunless double cheeseburger with jalapenos and grilled onions. Of course I got a side of fries and a vanilla shake to go with my husband's sammy. You gotta have fries with a burger! Since I recently got my new kidney, I have to be really careful with utensils, condiments and lids that are communal. I have to be so careful with germs that could possibly be on these common items. I told the sweet gal behind the counter about my new kidney. The gal was sweet and let me grab what I needed out of the boxes behind the counter that no one had access to. I appreciate that she was understanding and kind about my safety. Didn't question it one bit! I got my utensils, ketchup packets and napkins. My burger was so tasty! I was only able to finish half of it. So, next time I will definitely just get a single patty. There was plenty of cheese, jalapenos and grilled onions. The fries were hot, salty and crispy. I did enjoy the soggier fries, the soggy ones are my favorite. The fry sauce and ranch were both great dipping sauces for the fries. My husband did not share one sip of that vanilla shake and he finished the whole thing. I'll take that as a great shake! From the service to the food, everything was great! I appreciate the gal behind the counter for being so kind and considerate about my health needs when she didn't have to. The fries and burger that I had was killer! I say that ranch was some of the best I have had. We are never really on that end of town but if we are, I know where we will be eating! You can never go wrong with a good burger and fries.

We were close to the area and we finally were able to visit and I'm sure glad we did. The restaurant is located in a nice shopping center on the corner of Eagle and Overland, immediately on the other side of 84. The location is nestled towards the back of the center and can easily be missed as it's tucked in the corner of a small lot. We were greeted with a huge smile and swift seating to a booth in the larger dining room area. Even though it was barely 11:30 am on a Saturday, the dining room was already filling with hungry customers and the kitchen was notably bustling. We had Kaitlyn as our server. She arrived with a sunny disposition and eagerness to get our orders going. Downside, due to cost, tomatoes are not available. I have to say, that kind of broke my heart a little...tomatoes, in my eyes, are a requirement for every burger. I ordered the Bleu Bacon single burger and hubby had the cheeseburger. We ordered a small fry (1/2 pound) for us to share. Food did take quite a while to come out, but our server did come by several times to check on us, refill drinks, and give us updates (apparently a large to-go order backlogged the kitchen). The burgers came out first. I was a little underwhelmed with the small burger plate and cheese that was obviously cold when added to the burger and had become a tad sweaty from being steamed instead of melted. I had little hope....but then I took my first bite. The Kaiser hamburger bun was soft, burger patty was nicely seasoned and the bleu cheese was punchy without being overwhelming. The bacon sung through. The fries quickly followed. We were surprised by the home cut style, thick and irregular...rustic and perfectly cooked. These suckers are huge. But with every fry, it was crunch-tender on the outside and fluffy on the inside. I really enjoyed our visit, but the place seemed to be a little understaffed. Several tables had plates stacked or cleaning supplies atop the tables. That aside, service was attentive and the food tasted great, even without the tomatoes.

First Observation: This place is filthy, crusty, and gross! There were 2 parties there, 1 party of 4 and 1 party of about 10, (so not busy considering there were 2 servers working) and every other table was filthy. There was food all over the floor and on the tables along with dirty dishes. A bottle of cleaner was left on top of an in cleaned table, which seemed crazy to me. Why would you go to all the trouble of bringing a chemicals out to clean a table and just leave it there? In addition to the less than clean dining area, the restrooms were dirty too. And one final note...maybe servers should consider NOT wearing their PJ's to work. It's just off-putting.
