Solid food but nothing special. Service is great though and vibe is solid. Could use some more options on the menu, Rudy's is definitely better but it was packed so we came here

    Nice bar with large tv's

Nice, new sports bar in a strip mall. Lots of tv's on three walls and open space within view of your favorite game. Server was friendly. Good cocktails and a large selection of beers on tap. Wings were really good. Piping hot and fried well. Fish batter and frying was also really good. Could have used more dipping sauce. Finger steaks were breaded differently than what you find normally. Not bad, just different. I'd come back for the beer, cocktails, and to watch a big game.

As soon as we walked in a gentleman was ready to seat us, but we chose to sit at the bar. He let us know that the kitchen closed at 9pm, which was a little disappointing. We weren't extremely hungry, but would have liked to munch on something small. AJ was our bartender and he was super friendly and personable. He chit chatted with us a little, which was nice. They had one of my favorites from Mother Earth Brewery, Cali Creamin', which excited me! They have a large selection of craft beer on tap. I will say there was a woman that was sitting with some guys at a table by the bar. She acted like she worked there, but wasn't on the clock because she changed the music to what she wanted and changed the volume to where my friend and I couldn't hold a conversation because it was so loud.

It was a busy New Year's Day and they were short staffed. They told us from the get go, which we appreciated. Luckily we were not in a hurry and happy to watch Bowl games. This was our first visit and we will be back. Food was good and came hot to the table. Cook on my burger was just as I wanted. Sweet potato fries were crispy. I'd order both again. Also at the table we had finger steaks and a Bleu burger. Everyone agreed they would get them again. Kids meal of chicken tenders was two large portions of chicken breast. No one left hungry. Drinks were kept full and we were checked on throughout our visit. Great place to watch a game. TVs on all the walls and some private 'press boxes' to watch as well. Welcome to town!

The best Fish & Chips I ever had. My wife had a burger and couldn't finish. Our server, Carly, was terrific.

Fish and Chips are on point.

What a difference time has done to this location. First trip solid 4 stars when they opened and reviewed before. Second trip barely a 3 but did not review. Slow getting food and wasn't cooked very well. Good service though. Figured just an off day. Last night was a disaster. The lack of training to the staff is staggering. The only reason I am giving 2 stars is the server. We felt so bad for her. Started with her drinks. Ordered a $12 glass of wine that was not even a 4oz pour. Come on. I ordered a Guinness on tap. Pouring a Guinness is not like pouring any other beer. If you serve that, you should know that. It was flat, bitter and had no creaminess. Then the dinner fiasco. Started with the loaded fries. They were soggy and mushy. I know what you're thinking, well it has cheese and sauce on it. Yes, but even the ones on the perimeter were the same. Add the goop and they were like liquid. We moved on to the main course. It took almost an hour to get our food. There were only 3 to 4 other tables in the place. Server kept apologizing for the delay saying the cook is backed up and he would get to our order soon. Made no sense but ok. We were not in a rush. Welllllllll.........the Grandies Chicken sandwich came out first. Wife started into her salad first. 4 mins later the server came back and said I am sorry that's not your chicken and took it away. We still didn't Have the other 2 dinners so she was ok with it. 10 mins later it came back with the Philly cheesesteak. I am not sure I would call it a cheesesteak. It was soggy and everything in it was way over cooked. Then my wife tried to cut her chicken in half and the knife wouldn't cut the lower bun. Seriously like a brick. 100% inedible. When my fish and chips came out 10 mins later we sent the chicken back and just ordered some chicken tenders for her to eat. After a while the tenders came out and they were cooked in oil way too hot. The batter was almost black. She took one bit and they were bitter tasting. Think the oil they were cooked in is past its life. Lastly the "chips" that came with my fish were also interesting. The oil they used for the garlic Parmesan was also spoiled. They tasted spoiled and old. You know oil is not forever right? As you can see, I don't have a lot of negative reviews. Pretty tolerant for most things, but poor training of bartenders and cooks is my limit. Especially when it happens over different visits. That is just lazy and inexcusable. Train train train. We may go back, but it would only be for beers (not Guinness).

Perfectly lined up TVs, sports ticker, and private rooms.

Don't sleep on Giggy D's for a sports bar to watch the game, or dinner with the crew. I went with my 5 year old daughter last night and had a really great meal. They do a great job with the kids food - well seasoned mixed veggies, a legitimate small cheeseburger with a nice bun and seasoned smash patty, appropriate kids cups with straws. The fish and chips were very good too - great quality fries, solid fish that was well battered and fried crispy. Served with tasty fry sauce, plus standard tartar sauce, malt vinegar, and ketchup. Healthy selection of beers on tap and everyone around seemed to be enjoying their food and the atmosphere. Great addition to the Linder/Chinden area!

    Happy hour rocked.

The worst service we've had in the area. Waitresses would rather flirt with guys at the bar than take care of their tables.

For some reason, we were seated in a corner booth near the bathrooms, while other customers were seated elsewhere in the restaurant. We didn't mind, however, because it was nice and quiet. And, for me, convenient. My wife had the Sirloin Salad, and I had the Ahi Poke Salad. My wife said that her meat was cooked the way she likes it, and the rest of the ingredients were delicious. For me, the ahi, sesame vinaigrette dressing, wonton strips, onions, and greens were very good. The food is always good at The Tavern. And, the prices are reasonable. Unlike our past experiences, the service this time around was not up to our usual. Our server, Hannah C., seemed in a rush and impatient. Though she told us to ask her if we had questions, I didn't find her responses to be pleasant. The first dish my wife was interested in had Boursin cheese. My wife had not heard of it, and she cannot eat a lot of cheese. She preferred something milder, like mozarella. When she inquired of Hannah, the reply was terse. "We don't have mozarella." "Do you have another milder cheese?" "Like what?" Not in a nice way, and not professional, in my opinion. And, she was loud. We waited longer than usual for our food, and when Hannah brought it, she just dropped the plates and split. To her credit, she did check in on us once during our meal. Now I don't know what kind of day Hannah was having. Maybe not so good. I don't know what kind of person she is, and I'll give her the benefit of the doubt that she is a nice woman. Hopefully she is not like how she was with us to all of her customers. I'm a 20% tipper. For her, it was 18%. I wasn't given a choice, but I would have gone down to 15%.

It's a nice sports bar theme, but also welcoming and cozy. Once we sat down, a server came over immediately with menus. It seemed like she was the only server though, which made me feel badly for her...she never stopped moving the entire time we were there with taking orders, serving, refilling drinks, taking payments, etc. We had a party of four - I ordered the "Hail Mary" (2 patties, onion rings, bbq sauce, bacon, American cheese and pickles), hubby had the double steak burger and my friends ordered "The Big Hurt" and "Bullet Work". Bonus points for having multiple fries options (regular, garlic, French fry dippers and sweet potato), but unfortunately for me, they were out of sweet potato. Food came out relatively quickly and everything looked pretty delicious. My burger was bigger than I expected, which I appreciated. The onion ring was the perfect size for the patty and the drizzle of BBQ sauce was enough to flavor the burger without drowning it. The only downside was that the bacon wasn't crispy enough and the cheese was barely melted. The patties had some nice, crispy edges and the bun was soft even though it was toasted. It might have been bumped up a notch with some mayo on the bun, an extra slice of cheese and lettuce, but overall, it was a nice, very filling, burger. The fries were perfectly seasoned, slightly battered and the fry sauce was a great compliment. Everyone finished their meals and raved about how much they liked their burgers. Due to the one server taking care of so many tables, we didn't see her again until it was time for the check. Thankfully the water glasses were enormous and I luckily made it through dinner with just enough to drink. We would definitely visit again to check out all the great options on this menu!

While everything was alright, I preferred the sides to the actual burger sadly. The meat was too crispy around the edges. We went twice in one week even but haven't been back since. The second night, I just decided the meat was overcooked and the patty was over salted. There's so many burger options out there to try before I feel like I'd return.

And with the view by the patio, how can it not be the most perfect setting to enjoy my birthday dinner. We just stuck with water since it was on the warmer side today. We just went straight in for dinner. As much as the appetizers sounded lovely, I was ready for the main event. So for dinner tonight I ordered the charboiled salmon with seasonal veggies in place of the salad. My salmon was plated beautifully with nice char marks on it. The veggies were a variety of squash and were sautéed nicely. And you can tell visually that they were seasoned nicely with spices and herbs. I dug right into my salmon. My first couple bites were delicious. I did spread some of the sun dried tomato butter on my salmon. The butter was fantastic! It added a nice flavor element to the salmon. After I ate about a a fourth of my salmon, I noticed that it was not cooked all the way through in the middle. With my new kidney, I can't have rare or undercooked fish. My immune system can't handle a parasite if the fish were to potentially contain any. I shouldn't have assumed that it was going to be cooked all the way since our server didn't ask how well I wanted it cooked. I did have to send it back and have another one remade. While my new fish was being prepared, my server gave me a small salad plate to transfer my veggies to. I got to work on them so I wasn't staring at my family eat. The veggies were cooked perfectly. They weren't overly soft or still raw. It had a nice bite to them while still being tender. Unfortunately, they were overly seasoned and was on the saltier side. I was hungry so I polished them off. But I did have to drink a good amount of water to help with the saltiness. Thank goodness the portion was on the daintier side. As hungry as I was, it would have been bad if it was a bigger portion. All that salt would not be good on my new kidney. My second round of salmon came out. Was it as pretty as my first plate, no but it will do. I'm sure they set the flame on high, let it sit on the grill for a while and then flipped it to cook the other side. I have cooked salmon well done plenty of times and have it come out tender. When you cook for a living, having cooking times for your dishes should be down to a science in your kitchen. Unfortunately, the salmon was super dry and flavorless. As hungry as I was, I ate it. The butter did help with the dryness of the salmon. But I shouldn't have to rely on butter to make the dish edible. For my birthday, I got a free dessert. I chose the gluten free carrot cake. My cousin eats a gluten free diet so I thought this cake would be perfect for all of us. I enjoyed the cake very much! The cake was moist. The spices in the cake were fragrant and very noticeable in each bite. I loved the frosting on the cake. Since the cake wasn't overly sweet, the frosting added a nice sweetness to it. I enjoyed the cake very much! Our server did a mid job. There were times when she would be gone for long periods of time and we had to wait for her. The patio was perfect with its stunning view. Dinner was ok but dessert was fabulous. Overall it was a decent experience. I do look forward to coming back and enjoying the outdoor patio with my husband for a date night. I just know now to make sure I vocalize everything to my server so I don't end up with dry salmon again. I do want to come back and have a better experience.

Brisket quesadilla was good and tasty, no complaints what I was told. Huckle berry burger was different, it had a sweeter fresh taste to it. I'm always trying something new but if I could order again I would have got the hells canyon burger a more dirtier of a burger.
