Dijon honey chicken. Huge portion and very tasty

This salad is my new favorite obsession. It comes predressed , the slightly spicy tangy salad dressing is amazing. Loaded with seared tuna , covered in sesame seeds , avocado cucumber and lots of wonton crispness. A MUST try.

Came in around 9:10 for dinner to find they were closed. Sign in door said they closed at 10. No sign, no signage to let your guests know. Kinda pathetic to have your neighborhood bar close at 9 on a Saturday night, in the summer I might add.

    Southwest Salad with chicken

Wanted some a little less heavy so I got the Southwest salad with grilled chicken. I got the full portion and was definitely a big salad but it was delicious. A lot of yummy veggies and the tortilla bowl was delicious. I had the dressing on the side and found it was plenty with half of the dressing. I'm not always a salad girl but I really enjoyed this. Sweet staff. More of a sports bar scene but still felt really clean.

We have been here numerous times. Today we went here and had another incredible lunch. I ordered the fajita steak bowl. I substituted cauliflower rice and had a pear cider. The dish was spicy and good. The vegetables were fresh, the meat was tender and delicious. Our server was Cade. He was friendly and courteous. He kept our drinks full and gave us incredible service. This restaurant is worth stopping at for great food and servic

Quick dinner on the way back from downtown. Convenient location off the (44). Typical sports bar/restaurant vibe with plenty of TV's Quiet for a Saturday night but bartender was enthusiastic and prompt. Brixx burger was the highlight. Good flavor and meat. Fries were ok, not good or bad. Cobb salad was the same. cocktails and beer were standard. Would return just for the burger.

Chicken Sando with house pub chips

This was the first restaurant I tried when I moved to Garden City and it did not disappoint. We've come back multiple times for the Honey Hot pizza and excellent customer service. Eating outside on the patio is best if it's nice out as it can get noisy inside. The Honey Hot pizza is a must-try if you like sweet and spicy combos. The pickles add a nice crunch and freshness to eat bite. We also get the chicken sando with fried chicken and pub chips. The pub chips are always crispy and come with a unique creamy sauce. It's their take on home made potato chips and you can't go wrong. Lastly the pretzel sticks are a classic, they are soft and have the best texture. Definitely recommend coming at least once!

This restaurant opened in my neighborhood a few years ago. I've lived in the neighborhood almost 8 years and this was my first time there. The roommate wanted to take me out for my birthday. So I was like..let's just try that Brixx place. I was kinda surprised tbh. It was really good. It's not like THEEE best place for a low key birthday dinner, but it still delivered. I can see someone going here for like a big gathering for their birthday. However, it was just the roommate and myself. Totally would have brought my little man, Alfred tho if they allowed dogs lol. I wish I remembered the greeters name. Dude was suuuuuper nice and the type of person you love to see when you walk into a restaurant. Really nice guy. The entire staff actually, the ones we dealt with were all very nice, very helpful. Our waitress was super sweet, however, she rarely checked on the table to see if we needed refills and that sorta thing. She has potential tho. She really was a nice person. The food, imho, was really good. I ordered a steak. I'm guessing that's not something most order when they go here. It's kind of like a perfect spot to watch sports and get drunk lol. But it's a nice place to that haha, if that makes sense. The steak was surprisingly tasty. Wasn't overdone, perfectly cooked, kinda melts in your mouth. Something I wasn't expecting, if I'm being honest. The roommate and I are always late eating dinner. I REALLY wanted to go to Ruth's Chris. It's been so long since I went last. I really wanted a steak. But because of our weird schedules, of course we couldn't get there and tbh, I wanted to stay close to the house at this point. Ruth's Chris is downtown and Brixx, even tho we drove, it's like a 5 min walk from my house. I would absolutely go again. Even their fries were good. Seems lately like too many restaurants are doing "in house fries" and their soggy AF and are basically covered in potato skin. I HAAAAATE those fries! Hate them. I gladly call out any and all restaurants who only serve those and don't have options. Was happy Brixx hasn't jumped on that bandwagon.. yet. Those potato skin fries are like the never ending gray and white "trend" EVERYONE is using in their homes. Restaurants think these are the fries everyone wants... they. are. not. Just like gray and white. Not everyone wants that boring shit lol. Can you tell I'm passionate about those "colors" and passionate about French fries? I rarely ever eat fries. I really do watch what I eat. I work out every day. So when I have fries, it's a treat. Y'all stop ruining that treat with them soggy ass fries lol. If you've never been here, I 100% recommend it. It really is a great place. The manager was even out there working his a$$ off. Going ham on those windows haha. Very nice guy: Again, I was surprised at my first experience there. Was definitely expecting something else. Glad it was a good one. I'll definitely go back. If you've been, I'm sure you agree or most agree that this is a great place to go for dinner, games, beers with whoever. Just a fun environment. Thanks for reading, YelperBrixxers! Cheers!

It's a nice sports bar theme, but also welcoming and cozy. Once we sat down, a server came over immediately with menus. It seemed like she was the only server though, which made me feel badly for her...she never stopped moving the entire time we were there with taking orders, serving, refilling drinks, taking payments, etc. We had a party of four - I ordered the "Hail Mary" (2 patties, onion rings, bbq sauce, bacon, American cheese and pickles), hubby had the double steak burger and my friends ordered "The Big Hurt" and "Bullet Work". Bonus points for having multiple fries options (regular, garlic, French fry dippers and sweet potato), but unfortunately for me, they were out of sweet potato. Food came out relatively quickly and everything looked pretty delicious. My burger was bigger than I expected, which I appreciated. The onion ring was the perfect size for the patty and the drizzle of BBQ sauce was enough to flavor the burger without drowning it. The only downside was that the bacon wasn't crispy enough and the cheese was barely melted. The patties had some nice, crispy edges and the bun was soft even though it was toasted. It might have been bumped up a notch with some mayo on the bun, an extra slice of cheese and lettuce, but overall, it was a nice, very filling, burger. The fries were perfectly seasoned, slightly battered and the fry sauce was a great compliment. Everyone finished their meals and raved about how much they liked their burgers. Due to the one server taking care of so many tables, we didn't see her again until it was time for the check. Thankfully the water glasses were enormous and I luckily made it through dinner with just enough to drink. We would definitely visit again to check out all the great options on this menu!

While everything was alright, I preferred the sides to the actual burger sadly. The meat was too crispy around the edges. We went twice in one week even but haven't been back since. The second night, I just decided the meat was overcooked and the patty was over salted. There's so many burger options out there to try before I feel like I'd return.

My girlfriends and I decided we needed to get some grub and enjoy the patio weather today so we all picked Sockeye to hit up for our monthly outing. I arrived first and the patio area was pretty chill. Was sat at a great table and hung out till the rest of my friends showed up. My two friends and I did get to peep out the menu for a bit. Our last friend who is notoriously late allowed is some extra time to really check out the whole menu without feeling rushed. Happy hour was going on so of course the apps were calling to me. I can make a meal off of multiple appetizers. We finally got food ordered when our last friend showed up. I got the salmon and shrimp crab cakes. I have left Sockeye hungry before after having dinner here so I also added a side of chili just in case. I was ready to eat! My crab and shrimp cakes came out looking fabulous. They were fried a nice golden brown. So crispy on the outside and savory on the inside. I love the aoili that was on top, it added an extra flair to the crab cake. 3 were in an order and it was the perfect amount. I smashed all 3 and they were so good! I did have a couple bites of the chili. It was hearty in meat and beans. Rich in flavor and filling. I'm looking forward to adding this chili to some fries with some cheese on top for dinner later. I know it's going to be so good. Our server did a great job tonight. Despite the fact that she had to wait till our last friend to show up, our server was on top of it. Our water was always filled, she checked up on us and always made sure we were happy. As a past server, it's hard to manage time between tables when the whole party isn't there. Our server didn't have that issue today. My girlfriends and I had a great time. We enjoyed the food, enjoyed the atmosphere and was happy that we got to do this all on the patio. I always forget that there's a Sockeye by us off of Hill Rd. I will have to check that one out soon to grab more crab cakes. I do look foward to coming back to this location and enjoying another round of appetizers on the patio here.

I was surprised to see it pretty empty for a Wednesday night, but it worked out to our favor since we had a large party of 20+ people. Happy hour prices and specials are not posted anywhere that I could find, but the bartenders happily listed them off (I can't recall them, but there's deals on beer, wine and well drinks only). I had a Blue moon on tap, with a glorious orange wedge. The beer was perfectly poured and had excellent flavor. I wasn't in the mood for the lounge fare, but luckily you can order from the full restaurant menu from the lounge. My friend and I opted to split the Signature Barrel burger.with cheddar cheese, bacon, brown mustard, onions, lettuce, tomatoes and a patty that is grilled to your liking (medium). We asked for a plate to split the burger ourselves, but the bartender was nice enough to put in the order as a split order without an additional charge. Our burger and fries were split and served on two different plates, which was greatly appreciated. The burger had a nice flavor though a tad under seasoned and a notch more than medium-didn't blow my socks off, but it's a solid burger. The fries were the star, as they were crunchy, yet pillowy soft inside, covered in a lovely batter. I wouldn't mind going again and trying out the restaurant side, it was a nice visit to the lounge. They only had one bartender for a large crowd and she hustled really hard to keep everyone happy...I just felt bad that she didn't have much help.

And with the view by the patio, how can it not be the most perfect setting to enjoy my birthday dinner. We just stuck with water since it was on the warmer side today. We just went straight in for dinner. As much as the appetizers sounded lovely, I was ready for the main event. So for dinner tonight I ordered the charboiled salmon with seasonal veggies in place of the salad. My salmon was plated beautifully with nice char marks on it. The veggies were a variety of squash and were sautéed nicely. And you can tell visually that they were seasoned nicely with spices and herbs. I dug right into my salmon. My first couple bites were delicious. I did spread some of the sun dried tomato butter on my salmon. The butter was fantastic! It added a nice flavor element to the salmon. After I ate about a a fourth of my salmon, I noticed that it was not cooked all the way through in the middle. With my new kidney, I can't have rare or undercooked fish. My immune system can't handle a parasite if the fish were to potentially contain any. I shouldn't have assumed that it was going to be cooked all the way since our server didn't ask how well I wanted it cooked. I did have to send it back and have another one remade. While my new fish was being prepared, my server gave me a small salad plate to transfer my veggies to. I got to work on them so I wasn't staring at my family eat. The veggies were cooked perfectly. They weren't overly soft or still raw. It had a nice bite to them while still being tender. Unfortunately, they were overly seasoned and was on the saltier side. I was hungry so I polished them off. But I did have to drink a good amount of water to help with the saltiness. Thank goodness the portion was on the daintier side. As hungry as I was, it would have been bad if it was a bigger portion. All that salt would not be good on my new kidney. My second round of salmon came out. Was it as pretty as my first plate, no but it will do. I'm sure they set the flame on high, let it sit on the grill for a while and then flipped it to cook the other side. I have cooked salmon well done plenty of times and have it come out tender. When you cook for a living, having cooking times for your dishes should be down to a science in your kitchen. Unfortunately, the salmon was super dry and flavorless. As hungry as I was, I ate it. The butter did help with the dryness of the salmon. But I shouldn't have to rely on butter to make the dish edible. For my birthday, I got a free dessert. I chose the gluten free carrot cake. My cousin eats a gluten free diet so I thought this cake would be perfect for all of us. I enjoyed the cake very much! The cake was moist. The spices in the cake were fragrant and very noticeable in each bite. I loved the frosting on the cake. Since the cake wasn't overly sweet, the frosting added a nice sweetness to it. I enjoyed the cake very much! Our server did a mid job. There were times when she would be gone for long periods of time and we had to wait for her. The patio was perfect with its stunning view. Dinner was ok but dessert was fabulous. Overall it was a decent experience. I do look forward to coming back and enjoying the outdoor patio with my husband for a date night. I just know now to make sure I vocalize everything to my server so I don't end up with dry salmon again. I do want to come back and have a better experience.
