What a great pie. Love the dough and sauce. Legit pizza. We have only dined in, so no comments on delivery or take away. Big area to sit and watch one of the dozens of TV's fun for games or just hanging out. Always playing cool music unless it's a big game. wings, salads and appetizers are also amazing. If you are looking for that classic, local community pizza parlor, Uncle Bob's is the place to be. It is incredibly family friendly and features arcade games to keep the kids entertained while you wait. The seating is great too, with long picnic tables that can easily accommodate a small family of four or a massive party of twenty four. The staff members are always nice and the pizza is consistently above average. One of the best parts about this spot is their weekly specials. They are a total bargain, which is a lifesaver when you are trying to feed a large family. They also have a solid selection of ice cold, mostly local beers on tap to enjoy with your meal. If you are looking for a recommendation, the Miss Honey pie is my absolute favorite so far. It has a cream sauce base topped with Italian sausage and ricotta, all drizzled with hot honey. We've gotten Uncle Bobs I think a total of 3 times now and each time it has been so incredible! Each time we order we get it to go and bring it over to Good Apple which is such a great setup. This last time I ordered the loaded fries (pictured) and my husband ordered the personal hot honey pizza (didn't snag a picture before we started chowing down). The twisted wedge fries are the perfect amount of crisp on the outside, soft fluffy potato on the inside. I don't even know everything that's loaded on them, but it's something like cheesy, a spicy aoli, jalapeños, bacon, chives, and onions. The jalapeños definitely have a kick to them so be warned! We didn't get them this time, but my husband is also a fan of the pepperoni chips. I haven't sat down and eaten there before, pizza places to me are meant to be takeout :D but everytime I go in there seems to be a decent amount of people sitting down. I came to this pizza joint a little over a year ago. The food and venue was dope. I recalled saying that this joint would be fun during football season. The setting is big with huge tvs all over. Recently on Facebook, they posted that they were your go to spot for Niners fan. So today, I had to go check it out! Pizza and Niner football are two of my favorite things! We made the mistake of showing up at 2 and the game starts at 2. The parking lot was a madhouse! The parking lot of completely full. Luckily, someone was pulling out so we were able to get a parking spot. Walking up to the restaurant, you see a beautiful big red Niners flag. And a sea of Niner fans walking in and chillin outside on the patio. It was a beautiful sight. The parking lot was a complete representation of the restaurant. It was crazy busy busy! Every table, every chair and the floor was full of people. My husband and I made our way to the counter to order. We were going to deal with finding a seat after we ordered. We got a couple things to share. A small half salami extra cheese pizza, Bambino salad, pretzel sticks and pazookie. We ended up finding a table after some guests were done watching their team win. We shared our table with other Niner fans. It was a cool way to meet people. Our salad and pizza got dipped off first. Holy Molly was my salad huge! I got a generous amount of feta, olives and meat on my salad. It came with 2 sides of Italian dressing and a side of balsamic glaze. The lettuce a so fresh and crispy. The add ons on me salad were so tasty! The balsamic glaze added such great flavor to the salad. I was only able to finish half of it. I did steal a slice of cheese pizza from my husband. That baby was not lacking in the cheese department. The cheese was perfectly melted. The cheese pull was fantastic! It was a great slice of pizza. The sauce, cheese and crust all together was the perfect bite. After half time we got another round of goodies. We got pretzel sticks and the pazookie. The pretzel sticks were so hot! They were baked perfectly and not overly salted. The beer cheese that came with it was a great sauce to the soft pretzel. That is something we will totally reorder again. The pazookie was a huge chocolate chip cookie topped with two massive scoops of vanilla ice cream. The cookie wasn't hot but warm. I'll have them put the ice cream on the side next time. We only ate about a third of the cookie. It will save the cookie from absorbing the melted ice cream that we couldn't finish. I had the best time here today. The food was fantastic! I couldn't have asked for a better setting! I was surrounded by Niner fans. The staff did a great job dropping food off, getting us random things and cleaning off dirty plates. Going to Uncle Bob's pizza was a great way to start off football season! read more

We had our son's little league end of season party here and watched game 6 of the world series. The night we were there it was absolutely packed but Im told that wasnt a normal evening. Even then we got a seat for our family which was nice. Both the food and the service were great. The pie's are your standard ball game level afair. Both the kids and parents will like it. The sides were really good and I think that's where they shine. We got the garlic pillows and they were great. We saw many others being brought out that all looked fantastic. The subs looked fire as well and will probably be my order next go around. I can gladly give my recommendation for Uncle Bobs. If you are looking for a family friendly pizza/sports establishment then this the ticket. Get out there and eat up Boise. read more

Most riduclous pizza menu. The most ordered pizza in every pizza place is a combo and they dont have one. Instead they have 2 all meat pizzas and a few chicken choices. The also dont offer a veggie pizza. You can build your own but it will cost you much more. Leaving angry. read more

Uncle Bob's is one of the BEST pizza places in the TV. I have lived here for 16 years and, although I love a few others, I feel like Uncle Bob's brings something new to Meridian. The ingredients are super fresh and sometimes very simple, but extremely delicious. The crust is just the right amount of crispiness while still having that great chew to it. My daughters are OBSESSED with their Garlic Pillows as well. They are extremely kind and appreciate your business. Also, the restaurant is very spacious and welcoming. Ok, my expectations for Meridian are pretty low, but are increasing. This is a pretty standard family pizza place. Expect large groups. Kids running around. Maybe that is exactly your group! The two apps made me wants to try the other appetizers on the menu. For lunch, a lunch special (slice of pizza and side salad), two build your own pizzas, and a Miss Honey personal pizza. The Miss Honey did not disappoint. I'm usually a pepperoni, mushrooms, and olives type of pizza girl but since I was trying a new place I wanted to step out of my comfort zone. So glad I did. Came here to watch the Boise State game and were surprised at how empty the place was. Besides that we ordered a margarita pizza and it was really solid. The pizza itself had good cook, the toppings were great and the balsamic glaze was an interesting but welcome addition. We've been to Uncle Bob's Pizza a few times since it is close to home and it's become our go-to pizza place. We love the unique pizza combos, including breakfast pizza! The atmosphere is also really fun! Food: 4/5. The pizza combinations are really unique and the breakfast idea is fun. One of my favorites in the Miss Honey. The eggs on the breakfast pizza is a little questionable and might be better cooked on the pizza instead of separate as they just kind of fall off. For classic pizzas, the pepperoni is amazing but the sausage is too bland. We are addicted to the Pepperoni Chips and get them every time. Be warned the sauce that comes with it is a little spicy, yet delicious. Service: 3/5. The only interaction with staff is at the front counter. It can be a confusing experience because you're not sure who is supposed to be helping you and they don't always seem attentive. Atmosphere: 5/5. I think my favorite part of Uncle Bob's is the atmosphere. We are HUGE sports fans and will all of the tvs it is the perfect spot to watch a game (or 5). Side note: we have gotten pizza to-go a few times and it is always early (which is nicer than being late and making you wait) but there are no warmers to keep the pizza warm and then you're left with cold pizza when you get home. They have definitely changed something when it comes to the quality of ingredients. The pizza sauce does not taste good. It is now a pasty texture and they add way too much sugar and fennel into it. The dough is different as well. It tastes bland and very doughy. Unfortunately probably won't be returning. There are better tasting options that aren't as pricy in the area. It was my first time at Uncle Bob's. We decide on pizza. My friend likes Pesto. Me? Not so much. She ordered an 18" (small) Godfather, I the 18" MVP, plus a Modelo draft and Miller Lite bottle, $44.00 Both pizzas were flavorful with fresh ingrediencies and just the right amount of cheeses. The atmosphere is bright and clean with TV's lining the walls. The service was excellent. Now to the observations. If your a family on a budget? Stick to Pizza Hut, Papa Murphey's, Dominos, Little Caesars, ect. The price point at Bob's is more inline with Flying Pie and the other upper scale pizza houses. So, it ain't cheap and out of the price range for some Idahoans. read more
