This place would have gotten five stars on food alone but I absolutely HAVE to do a review due to the service we received!! To start our visit, we walked in and had two friendly smiles waiting! They allowed us time to look over the menu without making us feel like we were taking too long in any way. Ordered our pizza (Everything with some modifications) and got sat down. The atmosphere was inviting and fun! Lots of Bob Marley, Jimi Hendrix and that type of decor all over, music playing but not so loud we couldn't have a conversation with our friends. Even had someone offer us the remainder of their pitcher of beer! When our pizzas were brought out, we noticed that ours was missing the pepperoncinis we had ordered to sub for the mushrooms and onions we removed. Not a big deal-- hubby went and asked if we could just get them on the side. The young man working offered to remake the entire pizza (large)! Told him that wasn't necessary, side was fine. A little bit later, he came to our table and said "I know one of you was mentioning the Monkey Balls (pull apart dessert!). I'd like to give you an order because of the mess up". While that was so not necessary, it was very much appreciated and shows a level of hospitality that isn't seen a lot nowadays! Pizza was amazing and the Monkey Balls were to die for! Both were baked perfectly in our opinion-- oftentimes pizza is way overdone for us when we eat out. Pizza toppings were plentiful and tasted delicious. The Monkey Balls were covered perfectly with cinnamon sugar and the cream cheese icing spread all over the top-- even my picky husband liked them! My husband loves this place so I go along but what is supposed to be the Sante Fe was a disappointment for the second time. Came in on Saturday night during the nfl playoffs. Sat at bar which is separated for the restaurant. order a pizza and pitcher of beer. Employees were standard teen- young adult crew. They were actually fairly respectful. The salad bar was listed for 899 a person in the menu, when we went to order, we were told it was 9.99/person. Then I was told I could not share any of my salad with my 1 & 2 year old toddler granddaughters. We had already ordered a large pizza and pasta. The employee said there was nothing they could do, this is what the owner wanted. After seeing the salad bar and the limited selection and brown, wilted lettuce... I was extremely happy that I hadn't paid for our party of five to get salads. They didn't sell one time salads. They had a large salad they probably would've fed the three adults just fine, but it was to go and we were told we were not allowed to eat it inside the restaurant. Bizarre experience! Garbanzos is a great option for a Pizza night! A regular go to for our family is the Bob Marley, which is a white sauce chicken pizza. The crust is thicker and Cheree and they have great house made ranch. Their menu can be hard to find online, but it is worth the effort to try this place out if you like chewy crust and a thick amount of cheese! Great quality pizza. read more

Was excited to order from Garbonzo's for the first time since moving to Caldwell. Pizza was good. But!!!! All we did was order on the phone then my husband went to pick up and the total said $64 for 2 large pies and 3 drinks. Ok a bit pricey but maybe it's worth it. He used tap with his card and was told $64. No screen to look at. He left with his hands were full so they put the receipt in the bag. When we got to our place we notice on the receipt that the tip was $19!!! 30% tip to pick up a pizza no service!!! $84 pizza we picked up!!! We got tired of the economical chain pizzas cutting toppings to make ends meet and after reading the reviews decided it was time to pay a little more. And I think we received what we paid for. Toppings: plentiful and all vegetables were fresh (except black olives of course). The crust is crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. I like a crust with a little more "nutty" taste backed on cornmeal and a little sweeter but nonetheless it was a good crust. I had a small (10") but there was enough crust that made it seem more like a medium size and it filled me up. The sauce was kind of bland; it could have used more Italian herbs and been a little sweeter but the abundant fresh toppings made up for part of that. There are chili pepper flakes and parmesan cheese at the table to dress it up a bit. Lots of mozzarella cheese as well. The restaurant has kind of a carnival-fantasy-halloween decor to it with some large screen TV's playing football. The venue is unique in that there is a separate full-service bar in an adjacent room. The young servers at the counter were all friendly, helpful and seemed knowledgeable. Our order taker answered all my wife's picky questions with a smile. It's not our favorite pizza; that would be Bit of Italy in downtown Nampa but its definitely a quality pizza which is getting harder and harder to find. We'll be back when we get the urge to have some fresh pizza again. read more

The decor is great and I love their family style dining tables and the place is very clean. My only complaints would be the salad situation and they don't have unsweetened ice tea.
