Poppy's pizza is decent pizza, better than Garbonzo's. It's pricing is perfect and it's located in a good place

What a great little local place for take and bake pizza! I've been greeted with a friendly hello every time I've come here. Everyone has been patient with my questions, they offer a deal every day of the week and their prices are reasonable! I ordered the Viking pizza and one-topping sausage, both medium for $22. I placed my order an hour in advance and when I arrived for pick up, they were ready to go with instructions on how to cook when I get home. Both pizzas baked up as instructions indicated; we pulled off the baking round (that comes with it) for the last few minutes of baking to crisp up the crust. It's obvious that each pizza is made with care, each ingredient looks hand made. We were honestly kind of surprised at the level of freshness we had in each bite. The sauce had a spicier tang than I'm used to, but it was also hearty and a perfect complement to each topping. The Viking is a "must have"! I would prefer a thicker crust but I can forgive that since this pizza tasted great overall. Do not pass this place up. read more

Ok, so not NY pizza great, but ID great. That said, they are generally less expensive, more toppings, bigger pizza and pretty good. They answer the phone in a friendly manner. They are quick to put the pizzas together. Better than the other local choices that deliver for sure. Yum. read more

Great place for take out pizza! I pick it up when i'm out in the afternoon and bake it up whenever we're ready for dinner. The pizza is delicious, great (thin) crust and wide variety of toppings. And we always get a salad, too. Always fresh ingredients and a great ranch dressing. The people working are super friendly and efficient. Not sure if they always have this, but if you go there and they have cookie dough ready to bake do yourself a favor and get some! read more

My family loves their take out pizza. I haven't tried all of the different options, but some of our favorites are marketplace, gourmet garlic chicken, mediterranean, pepperoni, gourmet garden, and aloha. Staff is extremely friendly, I order ahead, so I never have to wait, and the prices are reasonable for the times. read more

Perfect prices and bake it yourself. We like the Parmesan Ranch Bread as well. Ordering is easy and fast.

Their pizza is low grade but convenient. Unfortunately I stopped in at 2pm on a Friday and found the doors locked. I looked inside and saw several people standing around talking. Then I looked at the hours and to my surprise, they don't open until 3pm. They didn't seem to care and I was out of luck. I'm thrilled Poopies Pizo has so much business they don't have to open up for customers. Go to Garbonzos and get a real pizza. Other options are out there too. We've ordered pizza from Poppi's twice and have had good experiences both times! I've called ahead both times to a friendly employee, and they say to give them about 25 minutes, but it's always been ready and waiting when we arrive, which is nice. The store is squeaky clean, always a good sign, and the pizzas are very fresh. Disclaimer, take and bake is not my family's favorite, but great for a more inexpensive, and quicker pizza experience than delivery. Poppi's has solidly come through when we've needed them. It does make it kind of hard to review take and bakes, because you have to add your own baking variables into the equation, and both times I've been experimenting with a new oven that actually bakes at the temperature you set it at unlike my old one.. so our pizzas have gotten a little extra crispy, shall we say.. But since that's me and not the actual pizza itself, plus this is a local small business, I'm giving it 5 stars! read more

We've tried this place twice and both times it was great and affordable. The service is always friendly. The last time in we showed up 10 minutes before closing. The pizza was good, the service was also adequate. The only reason I rated them so low is price and size of the pizzas. I was shocked they cost so much more than papa Murphy's (which maybe since they are more and pop it makes sense) but also the pizza sizes don't compare. Only reason to go here and not Papa Murphy's is if you live in Middleton. We are equal distance and since papa M's always gives a coupon or deal, I doubt we'll be back at this place. read more

First time visit. Great pizza and very friendly staff. Immaculately clean place. Had their large BBQ chicken pizza (that normally has chicken, red onions, and BBQ sauce, and lots of sweet pineapple chunks). We had them add some artichoke hearts...which was a perfect way to balance the sweetness of the BBQ sauce and pineapple with the addition of the sourness/saltiness of the artichoke hearts. We are glad Poppi's is in Middleton and look forward to many more future pizzas ! That big Take-N-Bake franchise chain can certainly learn some things from this local mom/pop pizza store. read more

Their pizza sauce is extra spicy, owners told me it is seasoned with cumin and chili powder, it was too spicy for my family. Owners kindly gave me a refund and they let me taste the sauce to be sure. Apparently they have been making the spicy sauce this way for a while, but we believed the pizza was over seasoned. read more
