Cool spot that looks like it was redeveloped from an old auto shop into a multi-tenant restaurant plaza. Tiny parking lot with entry on Alpine and exit on Latah. You'll probably have to either parallel street park or try a vacant lot across the street that had a sign stating it was ok to park there as of Aug 2026. Order at the register and they give you a buzzer. Go get it from the counter when it goes off. Indoor and outdoor seating. Fast and friendly service. We tried the wyld style burger (favorite), wyld style chicken sandwich, fries, sweet potato waffle fries, and orange crush slushie. Fries come with one sauce each. Everything was great and it was a good quantity to feed our family of four, which includes two adults, 4 yr old and 2 yr old. read more

Right off the bat the place was busy. That's always a good sign. Both my husband and I ordered the classic burger with sweet potato waffle fries (pictured). My son had the kid's chicken tenders, which was just their crispy chicken cut into strips. The waffle fries were perfect. Just the right amount of crunchy and the taste...so good. The burger was good but I didn't find it amazing. My husband on the other hand devoured his and declared it "good." Coming from out of town, Wyld Child was a great introduction to what Boise offered. read more

I came here with family, which worked out nicely thanks to their ample seating and long benches. Just passing through Boise and saw the reviews on this place so I recommended it when lunch was brought up. I got the classic burger, and sweet potato waffle fries. The smash burger was good, but the fries were the best part. Crispy on the outside with sweet potato sweetness on the inside. My kid on the other hand didn't like his chicken tenders, which is just a chicken sandwich patty sliced up. I ate a chicken strip and could see why he didn't like them, they're lacking the breading all the way around, but they weren't bad. The service is top notch, the guy calling out the orders came to our table to differentiate each burger. The place gets busy but they handle the crowds well and move the line quickly. Overall it was a pretty good experience. That's this critic's review, until next time, I'll be eating. read more

My wife and I tried the Wyld Child Sunday night for the first time. The food was very good. The burgers are prepared very well, the fries are also very good but be prepared - It is very, very busy. I would have probably rated this higher except for a couple of things that I really didn't care for. First the flies! There are an inordinate amount of flies in the restaurant. They need to do something about that. Also, when we went to get our sodas, there was no ice in the ice machine or in the soda machine. I realize it's busy, but there's really no reason for the lack of cleanliness and the non-availability of ice. I would probably go back, but I will pick a better time as it was so busy and chaotic, it was almost unsettling. If you go pick an off time to go there, trust me. read more

You don't have to make any sacrifices at Wyld Child. While it's casual and low-key, the food is high-quality and exceptional. The wild style chicken sandwich is not your everyday fare. The portion was huge and the flavor was tasty and just exotic enough to be special. And the sweet potato waffle fries? Forgetaboutit! So good. read more

Another Gem from the Wylder group restaurants located in the Bench subdivision east of Boise downtown. And yet another amazing spot to have burgers, salads, or even chicken sandos. I was visiting a friend in Boise and he took us here after a long morning of pickleball. The atmosphere of this burger shop is lively and welcoming, and the staff were fantastic. He recommended the double griddle burger with sweet potato fries, and it turned out to be exactly what I needed after a morning of exercise. The burger was hearty and satisfying, and I was impressed to see they use a beef blend from Snake River Farms, which is always a mark of quality. But let's pause on the burger and talk about the sweet potato fries. They were hands down some of the best I have ever had. Perfectly crisp, full of flavor, and paired with the signature fry sauce that seems to be an Idaho specialty, they made every bite unforgettable. If you are ever in Boise, make your way to Wyld Child for a meal that is hard to beat. read more

I've been seeing this place all over social media and was so excited to try it! I'm so glad I finally had the opportunity to try because it did not disappoint. My friend and I got a Wyld Style Burger, a Griddle Burger, and sweet potato fries. All of the food tasted very fresh and homemade. The portion they give for fries was big enough to share between two people. Their service was also friendly which was a plus. I can't wait to come back and try more read more

One of the best gluten-free buns I've ever had! Burger was cooked well, and was not dry. Maggie single Patty with a black pepper bacon jam was delicious. Fries were crispy and the Wyld (dilly) ranch was a great addition! I had the frozen classic lime margarita which was small but packed to mighty punch. Servers are friendly and I'm digging the outdoor patio lounge atmosphere! With two other shops to satisfy your cravings, this is a cool place to hang! read more

Visited last weekend. I had an absolutely fantastic experience at this joint. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt welcoming and upbeat, with friendly staff who clearly take pride in what they do. The burger itself was outstanding--perfectly cooked, incredibly juicy, and packed with flavor in every bite. The ingredients tasted fresh and high quality, and the toppings were balanced just right without overwhelming the burger. Even the bun was soft yet held everything together perfectly, which is something a lot of places overlook. What really stood out was the attention to detail across the whole meal. The fries were crispy and well-seasoned, and everything came out hot and fresh without a long wait. It's clear this place cares about consistency and customer experience. Whether you're just stopping in for a quick bite or looking for a go-to burger spot, this place absolutely delivers. We will definitely be coming back again and recommending it to anyone who appreciates a truly great burger. Location is fun with other restaurants nearby. Must visit! read more

Incredibly yummy food! The falafel burger with all the toppings is a stunning execution of a veggie burger. The sweet potato waffle fries and house sauce are an absolute treat. Wyld Child has solid food and a great atmosphere. This is a hip spot to catch up with old friends and hang out. It's connected to one of the STIL's newer locations (a Boise local favorite ice cream shop). So you can enjoy some nice ice cream after your meal. The biggest draw for Wyld Child is the vibe. This place has great energy. With a lively bustle, you can often find run clubs and other social clubs using Wyld Child as a meeting spot. I joined some friends for the run club last time I was in town, and I definitley recommend it for those looking for a fun way to stay active with some cool folks. The burgers taste even better after a nice run as well, lol. read more

Well I have really loved them in the past but this week's burgers were just mid. And the fries were not hot. Very disappointing for a place that in the past I put at or near the top for best burger in Boise. Maybe it was an off day. But the prices are not low so more is expected from this Wylder Group location. Super friendly folks behind the counter and it's a really nice outdoor eating venue (they do have e inside tables too). read more

Where Wagyu Meets Efficiency This is a straightforward American burger joint with a small twist. I'd heard a few good things about it before coming (I'm not from the area) and decided it was worth checking out while in town. The service was quick, efficient, and friendly. I asked a couple of questions, and the staff gave clear recommendations. The place itself was clean, organized, and well maintained, which I always appreciate. I ordered the griddle burger with extra meat, and it was excellent. The wagyu beef blend was buttery, juicy, and not dry at all. The house sauce, sweet onions, and American cheese added richness, while the pickles were impressively fresh-not wilty, but crisp with that loud crunch you want in every bite. Everything came together in a really balanced way. The vibe gives off what feels like an old gas station that's been completely reimagined-now modern, family-oriented, and welcoming. There's plenty of outdoor seating with picnic benches, and it's dog-friendly. The fact that it's attached to both an ice cream parlor and a coffee shop is a nice bonus if you want something after your meal. They also have a self-serve water and condiment station, which shows they've thought about the small details. Straightforward, solid, and worth a stop. read more

so this was my very first time in there and the Madison cashier was super sweet at first until I did no tip , then when I got my receipt, she properly shoved it in my hand and her facial expression and everything changed and became super rude!! wow! This is super unprofessional, childish behavior. It's like so many places I go. This is the behavior from the younger generation of kids.! I have to eat out quite a bit and I can't tip every single time and I've NEVER been to this place. On top of that the ranch for my fries just 'happen' to be forgotten ... coincidence? I'm thinking not! it was on my receipt and I'm glad I checked my order before I drove off unreal! I was not happy to say the least someone needs to teach these kids, some manners and it's not just this place it happens ALOT! I read in the comments of this coffee place in Cascade, Idaho, Idaho, where this young girl did the same exact thing with a family! her review was long and mentioned that as soon as she clicked the no tip button, which is obviously optional her whole attitude changed! this is wild behavior I would NEVER act like that toward people and I used to work in restaurants. do better at customer service! Definitely not a great first impression! read more

This order off the wall place is real popular and I can see why. Despite the lines they efficiently have your food ready soon after placing your order. I had the wedge salad and it was one of the best I've ever had. LOTS OF BACON. I also tried their sweet potato waffle fries which were perfect and a canned blood orange Mike that was refreshing and not too expensive. Ole Ty if seating outside and the weather was great! Would definitely come back. read more

Burgers and fries were excellent. Pimento cheese wasn't bad but don't need to order it again. A couple of bothersome things...more like annoyances that wouldn't deter me from going back: 1. Music was so loud that the cashier had to lean in to hear us order. Went back to get a bag and the guy had to lean in too. 2. Why don't people turn off their beepers when going to pick up their food?? All you have to do is hit the button on the side. read more

Very good! Tried the chicken sandwich and the burger. I think the chicken sandwich was my favorite. Both were good though. Fries were also very good - nice and crispy. Ranch is good as well. Sweet potato fries were good too, though that's not usually what I would get personally. Great burger as far as burgers go. Need more options for their burgers. Nicely put together store with plenty of seating.

Inside out: it's trendy and around some other wonderful establishments. I've always found it to be clean and an enjoyable place to hang out with friends! The parking situation can be a little nightmare. Service: I can't say I have ever been blown away, but it's never been bad. I don't expect people to have the max level of enthusiasm in Food Service so I would say they do great. Food: I think the food is a little pricey, but it's always been absolutely delicious and everyone I've ever brought here has enjoyed their meal! read more

Ambiance was cool. Food service was good. As far as food goes. Unfortunately I'd give it a 4/10 :/ Burgers were just okay, fries wayy over-salted, like wow they went heavy. All in all, didn't live up to all the hype. read more

Was visiting family in Boise and we had lunch here. Oh my goodness...what a great place to visit! This restaurant is housed in a location that appears to have been a gas station at some point. There were a couple of other businesses in the same area. They have picnic benches outside and I saw a few fire pits as well with seating around them. We chose to stay inside because it was cold the day we visited! Having it be the first time I've eaten here, the person at the counter was especially helpful navigating their menu and the drinks available. I ended up getting the Crispy Chicken sandwich with modifications, of course (it's me!). I asked for mayo on the side, sans the aioli and onion. This was, hands down, one of the best chicken sandwiches I've ever had! The patty was cooked perfectly, lightly breaded, and it was huge! Hung over the bun! I loved the bun, which was a brioche I believe? I also ordered fries, which were definitely not your typical frozen kind...I have to believe they cut their fries! They were cooked to perfection, crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. Such a great experience! I also had some of their ranch dressing for fry dipping...so good! Homemade with fresh herbs for sure! My nephew had the Power Bowl and I guess he orders this exclusively because he loves it! It was a good size bowl, full of tomatoes, brown rice, black beans, cabbage, shallots and cilantro. I had to get a bite and it was so fresh, clean, and healthy tasting! It comes with a slice of brown bread. What a great neighborhood spot! They serve healthy foods, freshly made and you can tell they take pride in what they all do! Cannot wait to visit again on my next trip to Boise! read more

I came here on a Friday around three. First off, good luck finding parking. It is pretty much non-existent. I finally found a spot across the street. I went in and had to wait a bit because the people in front of me had absolutely no idea what they were doing and there was only one cashier. Seating was also really hard to find. It was busy. The girl at the register, her name is Challis. She was absolutely wonderful. She was very helpful. I ordered the Wyld Style burger with lettuce and tomato, the sweet potato fries, and every one of their dipping sauces. The burger had a nice crisp to it. I just wish the sauce they put on it had no flavor and that they seasoned the burger more. The sweet potato fries were crispy and salted very nicely. I also got one of every dipping sauce. The best one was the malt vinegar one. It had a nice tang/kick to it. Aji verde next, then the fry sauce. Last was the Wylder ranch. It was just ok. If you don't get this, you won't miss out on much. read more

No vegetarian option for the French fries (a staple vegetarian side normally) unfortunately

First, I think the burger and sweet potato fries were delicious! The average rating is due to the counter staff not being helpful. I ordered the Griddle burger with a gluten free bun. The sauce that comes on that burger is not gluten free, so it comes dry with what I suspect is an Udi's GF bun. I ended up discarding the GF bun. I recommend ordering bunless, if you require gluten free. The sweet potato waffle fries were cooked to perfection. This is definitely a happening place! The customers were mostly college students with everyone enjoying their food. read more

Great smash burgers! We both got the wyld style burger which came with bacon jam, Gruyère cheese and black garlic Dijonnaise. We both made it a double and subbed the buns for gluten free buns. We asked the cashier what ingredient the GF buns were made of but she didn't know. I also inquired via Instagram DM about the type of GF buns but they also didn't know... are they rice flour, potato flour, etc? Please don't offer selections unless you can explain them. After looking at other yelp reviews, we should've gotten them protein style instead (which we didn't know was an option) On a brighter note, the sweet potato fries were really good! Overall I'd rate this place 3.5/5 read more

Really was not impressed. Was like a Temu version of In & Out. The vinegar aioli had little flavor. Great concept poor execution.

Great food. I heard they fry their food in beef tallow as opposed to seed oils, which is really awesome. They also offer gluten free options, & they offer to cook your food in a separate fryer if you need it. Their gluten free buns have good texture & don't fall apart like many other gluten free breads.
