This place is near my office and is the default restaurant that we all go to. Nothing fancy, just a good All American restaurant. But if you're going to order a salad. I recommend the half size. That size alone is enough for a fair sized foodie. I would guess a couple of cans of tuna sits on top of the full size tuna salad! Fish Tacos are awesome. Gyro's are great. Greek salad is excellent also. read more

I have been coming here for a few years..food is good, prices are reasonable. They have a wide variety. But lately it seems like they care less about cleanliness. I usually avoid the patio area because the tables are usually dusty. This time my kids wanted to sit outside. When I asked someone to clean the table, they never showed up. read more

Legends Classic Diner - American Near Me - Glendora, California

Driving by, we decided to give it a try. The service was great and we didn't have to wait too long for our food. I had the classic cheeseburger. It was delicious. The place is child friendly, both of my kids ate all their food, which is a plus for me. Cute retro decor throughout the restaurant. Overall, a great pleasant experience. Will be back whenever I am in the area. read more

Legends Classic Diner - American Near Me - Glendora, California

Wow a great place to dine w/ family ^ friends. The whole vibe of the 60"s is so cool. Great environment & clean! The food is good and reasonable priced. The fries are thin and crispy. read more

This place is terrible. Once again, no salsa, no ketchup, no napkins, no plastic ware. Rude people working the window. I ordered a bean and cheese burrito that completely fell apart, was filled mostly with rice and had one huge clump of half melted grease cheese. Gross!! read more

I seriously love Legends! Buuuuut this location seriously forgets something every time I order. No matter how I order it or how much I emphasize something, my order is always wrong. It's honestly a hassle having to go back in or worse, drive all the way home and realizing that they messed up. Just to be on the safe side, if you can visit another Legends, I would suggest doing that. read more

Everything I've tried taste great (best eaten hot) and the young ones love the nostalgic surroundings.

I came here tonight 10 mins before closing. I went through the drive thru where nobody said anything. I drove back to the entrance to double check the hours, which says they're open till 11. The girl who came to the door to open it and tell me that they were closed said that they close 10 mins before 11. Don't say you're open until a certain time when you're not going to serve your customers. Lost a customer and I'll just head to in n out where they'll gladly take my money up until the minute they close! read more

This place is beyond it expensive for what you get, I got a strawberry malt and it was disgusting and expensive what a waste of money I will never be here again. read more

Great chicken salads, breakfast burritos, fries and burgers ! Drive thru can take a while so be ready for a for wait. The inside is fun to eat in with every inch decorated with memorabilia and license plates! read more

This place is always great... service,food,environment.....Great! Everytimr I come i am never disappointed.

My reviews are mixed on Legends... I've had it previously, and it was great. This last time we went, the order came out incorrect, the onion rings were overly breaded and nearly inedible, the taquitos were so hard that I nearly broke a tooth. I'm really not sure what happened. I don't think they changed their food, it was just not good. I love the Route 66 decor and the large dining area. Plentiful parking and a great vibe, but I don't think I would choose to come again. read more

So I really like the food here. I have pretty much tried almost everything. I highly reccomend the deep fried mushrooms with ranch. The burgers and crispy chicken sandwich is delicious also. So why the 4 stars? I took 1 star away for the ladies that take the orders. They never smile and the seem like they really hate it there. They come off kinda rude. A smile goes a long way. Otherwise, this place is pretty good. read more

Your Employees need to wash their hands before they make/touch the food because my family got really sick and my baby sister so make sure to tell them to wash their hands! read more

Great sandwich. Horrible customer service. While the food was very fresh and obviously well prepared and seasoned, the cashier who took our order (NiNi) was very rude in her attitude to both my husband and I. She literally held her hand up as we walked to the counter. An excuse me could have done the trick read more

I unfortunately have to give legends a low rating this time. When we came last time i asked if they were going to make fried chilis in the chili bar. The guy said yes but never made them, then i saw the cooks use their hands. I don't see what's wrong with wearing gloves. I asked for my money back from the manager because i felt grossed out to eat my meal. He refunded me only for the burrito and not the zucchini fries despite me leaving a good portion of them and i asked for a refund of my whole meal. The manager said ok and told me that he's sure the cooks wash their hands all the time before preparing food. Im sorry. There is no way to guarantee they are washing their hands everytime they are coming into the kitchen. Just because you have not had a sick customer doesn't mean its sanitary. I have seen them wipe tables then just go back to preparing the food so no they do not wash their habda evey time before preparing meals. read more

Stopped in for a cup of coffee to go. Wasn't all that good. Watery weak and bland. Needs a new brand of coffee. Also the coffee cups didn't seal up correctly. Almost had a disaster in my car. read more

Love the variety of foods available especially the avocado salad! The classic car show on the 1st Sunday is awesome!

I've been coming to Legends for years. Their food is absolutely delicious my kids love this place. However my last 2 visits this month via drive thru have not been very pleasant. The young girl taking orders in the evenings on drive thru is the RUDEST!!! She huffed and puffed because I placed 2 separate orders everyone clearly heard her huff and puff;So I just ignored it! Came in a second time 2 weeks later and again the attitude. I was trying to place order and she kept on interrupting me 4 times to be exact that she couldn't hear me. I had not even finished my 1st word when she rudely said " I can't hear you" and again still can't hear you. Well if she would let me finish my first word maybe she would be able to hear me. Long story short her patience is very short and Customer service skills suck other than that we enjoyed our food and ice cream read more

LEGENDS.....YUMMY!! Went there today for lunch. I had the Carne Asada Taco w/tortilla chips. The meat was so good! This was the first time I had the taco, tho I have had the burrito before....tasty! And the price was right at $3.25. My hubby had his usual Egg Breakfast Burrito. He loves them!! Egg...potato....cheese...huge! We have never had a bad choice at Legends! OH...try not to go on a Sunday when the car clubs are there, they take over the parking lot and most of the eating area!! read more

Situated in East Glendora, Legends is the place to go for classic American food, as well a few Mexican food, for an affordable price! Its quality is better and quantity is more than what you would get at McDonald's. I usually come here for their avocado salad and grilled chicken salad. I like their warm and buttery pita bread that comes with the salads. my friends rave about their hamburgers and fries. the interior is amusing with 50's decorations. a only downside is that it can get crowded in the afternoon with annoying kids running around. read more

All I can say is WOW! It Sucks. The doable hamburger had about as much meat as a single McDonald's hamburger. And that was too much. It was bland and sat like a rock. It took me about 45 minutes to finish it because it was not good. The chicken fingers were pre made, just like their bullseye BBQ sauce. The mozzarella sticks were OK, but the marinara sauce tasted like plain ketchup. It gave me and my woman stomach pains, and would not let us sleep through the night. NEVA EVA AGAIN! It is not Legends, It is FOrgetable. read more

We love legends!! Fun atmosphere and great food. Service is always good. This is the one place my family can always agree on

This place is a flashback to the 50s. Food is mostly decent (the grilled cheese sandwich was somewhat burnt but edible), the fries were good, the hamburger excellent, the dipping dressing was very good... ...but the music was TOO LOUD. I will be back but I will have my shooting ear protection in the car if it is needed. ** Update** It's about two years later, and again I was next door at Social Security, my business there was complete, and it was time for lunch... My wife wasn't with me so there was no grilled cheese involved on this trip... Well,it looks like there's been a 100% staff turnover... The order-taker was pleasant, he got the order right. The food is made to order (no heat lamps). They give you a number card when you place the order and they bring the order to your table. The food was excellent (double hamburger with mushrooms). Yes, I did need the ear protection that I normally use at the gun range, I will be back (again, with ear protection). read more

The appeal of Legends is more the ambiance than the food. It definitely has the vintage diner vibe down and that is in. The menu is hit or miss. Nothing is bad, but some things are better than others. If you just want a relaxed, family meal out, this works. read more

I've always loved this place. Amazing food, and lots of it!! My favorite is the pastrami cheese burger with zucchini fries. They have a drive through and outside patio to eat at. read more

Big portions priced ok. Plastic plates and utinsils. Parking lot is small. Inside the resauant is wide open and they play lots of oldies. I will be back read more

I've been coming to Legends since it opened, I'm a huge fan of their salads, And their ranch is some of the best. Its creamy and wonderful. A perfect addition to most foods in my opinion. Their chicken strips are fantastic, I suggest the chicken strips combo. Its fries a drink, salad, and three strips. For a VERY low price. The malts are delicious as well. The burgers are a bit odd tasting to me, though. And the breakfast sandwhiches are greasy, But huge.. All in all, I recommend it. The inside of the restaraunt is amazing, And so clean and well lit, As well as charmingly decorated. I'm a fan. read more

Me and my family love this place. The atmosphere is good and the food better. I love burgers, so you guessed it, I usually order a burger and fries. They give you plenty. I have also had chicken strips, salad, club sandwich and their gyros are really tasty too. We have also shared a banana split. Yummy. Servings are generous. read more

Our local favorite hang out with delicious & fun food from breakfasts to dinner & dessert. I love their mango smoothies & chili dogs! A bunch of us meet here for lunch and share onion rings for an appetizer. A lengthy menu includes hamburgers, tacos, sandwiches, & a kid's menu. The fun 'highway 66' atmosphere hits all ages. Car shows on certain Sundays each month too. The food is tasty, though not yet diet friendly. There are salads, for those who like lots of iceberg lettuce and bland, fatty salad dressings. Go for the fun and brings some friends! read more

Classic egg burrito is awesome! They must put an addictive chemical in it because I constantly crave this breakfasty (yes that is a word) goodness for days at a time until I can get my fix. Eggs, bacon, ham, sausage, cheese, and avocado, perfectly balanced in a flour tortilla that is large enough to appease the biggest of appetites (or share if you are a light eater). Paired with an order of fried mushrooms, you may only need to eat one meal today. They donT make it until you order it, but the wait is well worth it. read more

Giving a nod to the benchmark of American cuisine, this 'diner' justifies its food with great quality and simplicity. A combination of flavor and simplicity, without being overpowering, is a premium in American cuisine as American food is just that--simple. Great place to bring the family! I recommend the chili cheese double cheeseburger or pastrami! read more

Legends Classic Diner - Chili cheese double cheeseburger! - American Near Me - Glendora, California

Food is OK, but the greatest for the price. My issue is with the drive thru lady arguing with me about my receipt. This was the second time I've had to ask for my credit card receipt. She argued that she gave it to me with my card- it was in her hand. After having identity theft in the past, I always get my receipt. Yes, I know they can pull a copy- but at least I have mine with the right total. The first time she said she already threw it away- why would you throw a customer's receipt away without asking if they want it. read more

$9.27 for a sausage and bacon breakfast sandwich I think that's a little ridiculous when I asked the cashier why so much she said because they have big portions well the sandwich was just average size $9.27 not worth it by any means trust and believe I'm not a cheap person but $9.27 for a sandwich outrageous read more

We enjoy eating at Legends. The food is fresh and the portions are sizable. Two of us share the Classic Sampler (fried zucchini, french fries, fried mushroom, and onion rings). Another one had a burrito, with really fresh avocado. It was clean, although it took them a while to bus the tables near us. read more

As you drive down Route 66, you can't miss Legends; the building is large. The portions are very large. Everything on the menu is marginal to good. I personally like the fried zucchini with blue cheese dressing... very good. The interior of the restaurant is covered in 50's decor. The staff is very friendly. As for prices... considering that each order can feed two people... ...you certainly get your money's worth! read more
