This was so delish!! Yummy beef teriyaki, rice, mac salad and egg roll!!
Faye A.

After a really fun Rosedale tour, our heroic realtor decided to reward us w the ultimate edible treat... a lunch trip to Best Teriyaki. Bold name, right? I was skeptical..... this place looked a bit sus while waiting for our food. But ohhh, was I gloriously wrong!!! We all got the #5 Teriyaki Plate Special, aka the holy trin of comfort food: juicy beef (deliciously marinated and just simply amazing), fluffy rice, creamy mac salad, and a freshly made egg roll (i burnt myself, it was that fresh). Parking is tight.... the place is situated in a corner strip mall. I went in judging this place by its cover, but this little hole in the wall punched me right in the taste buds, in the best way!!!Never doubt a spot that looks like it's been around since VHS tapes. It's usually hiding greatness in a takeout box!! This may just be the best teriyaki in SGV!! Definitely recommend!!! 800th review. Milestone. FYVIA :)

I thought this place was really good the chicken was perfectly cooked , rice was really good , the egg roll i thought was out of this world so delicious i could eat those all day! The service was great id def come back here. Theres a little area where you can sit and eat if you choose to!

French Fries

Asked for fresh fries and they didn't even bother to care about my order so this is definitely sad

Nice spot hidden at the base of Azusa Canyon and a local favorite. This place is focused on putting out a delicious teriyaki meal from a small building with only a kitchen, a pay window, and outdoor seating. Nothing fancy, but fantastic teriyaki glazed food. I ordered the chicken special, because all the staples were included. A side of macaroni salad, a lettuce salad and an egg roll. The Mac salad was simple, not overwhelming, but made just perfect. The salad was fresh a slapped with thousand island dressing. You can sub with fries if you like. Now to one of my highlights. This egg roll was perhaps the perfect egg roll. (I've had a lot of egg rolls). Sitting on top of the rest of the food, I expected soggynedlss but it was perfectly crispy all around. The inside vegetable fillings was nice a warm and scrumptious. The sweet and sour sauce was provided too. Wow, I would go back just for this just to see if they make them this consistently good. Now the chicken. First bite had a nice char on the outside, followed by the perfect tenderness on the inside. The teriyaki sauce was standard, not overly salty or thick, but just right. Most of the rice was smothered with the sauce runoff to my liking. Overall, a perfect meal! Definitely returning, and a definite recommended spot for teriyaki lovers in east SGV.

Not the same big portioned plate. Officially dissapointed.

It's Saturday august 2nd, it's my first time in about 2 years... I think they changed owners... nothing taste and looks the same. No sauce on my teriyaki(my sis said it's happened to her again) I miss the Asian lady and Hispanic cook.... The young workers were nice but it just didn't give since 1989 anymore. I will definitely pass Plates got smaller than last times plates. Mac salad tasted almost the same can't mess up mc salad Idk something didn't give Azusa canyon staple

The service was great, they were all very friendly. The location is really nice font outside and eat. The food was good, not amazing, but def good.

Service seems has gotten a little bit better. They've adjusted their pricing up a little bit due to inflation, which I can fully understand as people as you before. Their pricing was on a slightly lower side. Their price is here now are a little bit closer to market still a fair deal.

Food is good but the service sucks I ordered A chicken plate and he gave me a beef plate. I also clarified the Order two times before paying. Either the young man doesn't know English or just doesn't care. While I was forced to eat a beef plate another man ordered 2 plates and he waited 20 mins then when his order was called he asked why there is only one plate. Bruh how do you screw up two times in less than an hour? Your better off going to Yoshinoya Or Waba Grill! For the price of the fake beef they sell. Costco sells the items they buy

Cash only business! Work trip had me training at the corporate office in Azusa and wanted a good quick bite. My Yelp APP point me to Best Teriyaki. I am glad I found Best Teriyaki! This is a very cute place with outdoor seating via park style picnic benches. I'm from the desert and very accustomed to lizards. Being a desert dweller, I can only assume my lunch date was more of a iguana chilling in the seating area. My first time here and I went with a Beef Teriyaki bowl. It is packaged in a small to go container. It is very delicious! Next time I will go with a plate! Fries and macaroni salad are side options. I'm still kicking myself for not getting a plate! Service was very prompt!

Cash only, I drove up there nearly passing it since the road goes one direction. I was about to leave until I saw I had $10 in cash. I chose to get their chicken teriyaki plate ($9). It comes with rice and sides of a salad with thousand island dressing and a macaroni salad. Their teriyaki sauce is much darker and thicker than other places I've tried. Their chicken was hot and moist. The salad was crispy and had pineapple chunks in it. The macaroni salad was bland to me, the noodles were not over cooked though, the dressing was not runny. Parking lot is tiny and they have outdoor seating with two patio table. The guy is nice and the wait was not long.

Packed with eggs, veggies, and a blend of savory sauces, it's both filling and flavorful. We stubbled on this place after a soccer game (we won). The addition of impossible sausage and avocado makes it a fantastic vegetarian-friendly option, ensuring everyone can enjoy a hearty breakfast. It's great to see places embracing diverse diets while still delivering deliciousness at the same time!!

Pros: delicious breakfast burritos…read more Cons: confusing concept it's a virtual restaurant inside of Dog Haus I yelped "burrito" because I was in a burrito mood for breakfast. How can you pass up an opportunity to try a place called "badass breakfast burritos." 4 stars- mouth watering burrito pictures. I had to try it. Slowly driving by looking for a restaurant named "badass breakfast burrito" I was confused because I didn't see any signs. I had to park and read some reviews. One of the 1 star review mentioned they couldn't find the restaurant after driving around for 10 minutes. The reply from the owner mentioned it was a virtual restaurant located inside dog Haus. So confusion cleared up-- I went to dog Haus. The restaurant is divided into 2 areas. One of the areas near the bar and the other is near the cashier. The bar dining area has their dining chairs folding up and upside down on top of the table. It's in the "I'm closed " position. I can't blame them cause I'm not here to drink. It's just awkward cause it's such a big place. The whole place seemed like it was ran by one guy. I picked my burrito and ordered it. "The fonz" I didn't want to hype myself up. But when I got home turned on Netflix and had my first bite. It was wonderful. Size was decent. The outside was grilled like a crunch wrap supreme at Taco Bell. The tots were indeed crispy. Eggs fluffy. Bacon crispy. Couldn't taste the pastrami. The sauce was pleasantly spicy. 100% recommend to my friends and family.

Still Searching for My Perfect Commute Dinner Spot!…read more Stopped by La Cosecha Mexican Bistro for dinner, hoping I had finally found that perfect little spot to look forward to during my long commute home. Unfortunately, the search continues! First things first, BRING A JACKET! And maybe a scarf, gloves, and a heated blanket while you're at it. This place was FREEZING! I'm all for a comfortable dining atmosphere, but I wasn't expecting to have dinner inside a walk-in refrigerator. And the music? LOUD! Don't get me wrong, I love good music, but between the volume and my teeth chattering from the cold, I could barely hear the person sitting next to me. Now, let's talk about the food. I ordered the chilaquiles, which came with a $30 price tag. For that price, I was expecting a little Mexican magic on my plate. Instead, I got something that tasted more like tortilla chips covered in plain tomato sauce. Bland, underwhelming, and definitely not worth the price. I really wanted to love this place, especially since it's conveniently located along my commute. But between the Arctic temperatures, nightclub-level music, and expensive, flavorless food, I left disappointed. The verdict: I came looking for my new favorite dinner spot and left looking for my car heater. The hunt for my perfect commute restaurant continues!
