Worse serve ever! The manager is an idiot! Went thru the drive thru. They got our whole order wrong. Went in to tell him and they just laughed. Not sure if it's under new management but this place was not this bad before. The food is ok.. Not great. Wouldn't go back again. read more

Great local diner with the classic feel inside and out. They have just about any kind of food you could think of. I've ate just about everything here never disliked any of it. The burgers are good my go to is the avocado bacon burger. I know it's pretty basic but I love it. The prices are a little higher than some other fast food places but well worth it. I recommend eating inside that way you get the full experience of the classic diner. read more

Ordered a quesadilla, bacon cheese burger and a shake last night and it was worse than Burger King. How is it even possible to ruin a quesadilla? I will not return after paying $18 read more

The cleanest restrooms I have ever seen in a public place.I have been a customer for 5 years with weekly visits on my way to Los Angeles. Food quality is superb; customer service is prompt, outstanding and very fast. i heartily recommend them. read more

First time and last time coming here. I liked the 50's decor, but that's where it ended. My wife and I did not have an enjoyable experience. The service was unpredictable and unattended. We waited at the soda counter for 30 minutes before the waitress decided to tell us that we had to stand in line for a Malt. We had a long drive up from San Diego and we were both weary from the road. We placed our order and sat down at a both. When the waiter brought us our Malts they were in PAPER CUPS!! NOT GLASS. NOT 50 Diner Style!!! TERRIBLE!!! I would get better service at DENNY'S and I get EXACTLY what I pay for. A MALT WITH WHIPPED TOPPING AND A CHERRY ON TOP. So very disappointed. KOSMOS BURGERS HAS BETTER MALTS, TOO, AND THEY COST LESS!!!! read more

Ah, Legends. I have such a love/hate relationship with you. I should preface this by noting my impressions are largely formed by experience at the drive-through. Every so often, I decide I want to treat myself to a calorie-fest and get a bacon avocado cheeseburger with a side of onion rings and their blue-cheese dressing. The food is always good, The burger is well-seasoned, and packed with ripe avocado, and the onion rings batter fried. Their blue cheese dressing is thick and lush, and on par with some better steak houses. (BTW, who ever heard of ranch on onion rings? Ugh!!) This is also one of the rare places that will make a proper chocolate malt, and with chocolate ice cream. What a blessing that was when I had oral surgery last summer! The only complaint on the food front is the one tiny container of their blue cheese dressing the rings come with. They used to give me two larger ones, now I have to ask to get two, now much smaller than they used to be. I understand the need to avoid waste, but let's be realistic about how much dressing is needed with their order of rings. One ranch (much thinner) wouldn't do the job, much less one blue cheese. Prices are going up, up, up (my order was $8 a couple years ago, and now is over $12); let's not cut corners on a couple ounces of dressing. And that leads me to customer service. The drive-through can be busy and slow, particularly because the food is cooked to order. I'm fine with that. But the last time I went through, I got home with someone else's order. The tag on the bag was for mine, and there were two receipts inside, one for my order and one for what I got. I was exasperated, but I didn't have nearly an hour to go back, wait in line in the drive-through again, explain, wait for my food to be cooked again and drive back home, so I made do with what I had. (Mediocre chicken strips on fries and a salad.) I decided to give them another try tonight. The girl taking orders asked me to give her a minute (surprising given the line wasn't long at all), and left me sitting there for several minutes with no apology. She finally came on to take my order, and the line moved along rather quickly, always nice. When I got to the window, I asked her to check my order to be sure it was correct, explaining I'd gotten the wrong order the last time. She didn't check the bag, but rather pointed to the yellow ticket on the bag, insisting that was what the cooks saw, so it must be right. I tried to get her to listen to me and hear me say that it hadn't mattered the last time, that I still had gotten home with the wrong order, and would she please check the bag. This time, she pulled off the yellow receipt, waved it at me and again insisted it was what the cooks saw. I finally took the bag from her, checked the order myself, and left. Clearly, it didn't matter one iota to that girl that they'd made an error the last time, much less that I left happy. What a frustrating experience! She was totally unconcerned that my order had been wrong, and not even remotely listening to what I was saying to her. She never asked if I had paid more than the order I got was worth, and worse, never apologized for the error. I felt like she saw me as a nuisance whose concerns were to be brushed aside. The irony of it all, of course, was that she was the same girl who was working the window the night the error happened. Talk about leaving a sour taste in my mouth. I've been a fairly regular customer for years, but after the error, I found myself wondering if I wanted to go back. After tonight, I really doubt I will. And that's a shame. read more

I love the decor but the fare is just okay! Not in a hurry to return.

Awesome and nostalgic place for a quick meal. Got the classic egg burrito, which was actually pretty big. Great taste and very affordable.

It's ok, I think people come here for the gimmick. They put seasoning on the the fries they cover in chili cheese sauce, not good

Michael W. really got people "jazzed" on his review below. The theme is pure camp, and if you can't enjoy the cheesy nature of the interior of this place and instead choose to take it "seriously", you must've had a lobotomy. I don't see how this place is a "hot thing". It's a really gimmicky fast-food franchise, but I'd rather come here than other fast-food restaurants in the area. Don't recommend certain fried goodies from this place (mainly mushrooms and onions rings), but their burgers and burritos are pretty spot on. Fries are abundant and cheap, shakes are good. This place isn't amazing, but I doubt you'll regret coming here (unless your some pretentious fast-food go-er, which is a strange thing in itself). read more

The food is amazing and the service was great! I enjoy coming here with my family on the weekends.

This food was amazing! If you want a fun time with your family this place guarantees it. There are lots of things to choose from and the atmosphere of this place is so alive. Service if great and very friendly. Fries are the things I recommend the most. Come on down to eat here and come on down if you want good food, good times and good atmosphere. read more

This is going to be a bias review. You can't get better than hot rods: blown big blocks, disconnected outlets, 4 on the floor, drag slicks - wheelie bars, exhaust smells and sounds from the engine - not a resonator, and the only cars chrome belongs on... Welcome to show off day. This isn't a draw back to the good ol days of street rodding pricing, but the portions aren't either. 1/2 pound double cheese burgers, that are probably that weight after cooking... with all the fixins. Deep fried everything by the pound. Great feel inside and out - but you make your stop to talk cars. This is a feel good experience. The food is average, but the experience covers all. read more

Ordered the pastrami burger, and bacon breakfast burrito. They stoped serving breakfast plates at 11am. We past by at 11:05 and were denied; which we can understand. What I don't understand is why serve a breakfast burrito all day and not the platter, same ingredients? ?. What topped it off was the young women at the drive thru was very rude, with a bad attitude. If you don't like what you do then move on to something better. She charged me $20, put a smile on your face and fake it. She gave me more attitude when i asked for extra ketchup. Food was 4 star but the service was 2 star. I'll just stick to Grand Burger!! read more

The best bacon avocado burger! Speedy service, and all around good food.

Great food, big portions. The patty melts are delicious as well as the carne asada burritos. You can't go wrong eating here!

Okay I seriously LOVE Legends and my boyfriend and I come here frequently. We do both dining in and drive thru. But every single time we go through the drive thru the girl at the window is completely rude. And to top it off, you guys are completely stingy on giving out sides of ranch. If we order 4 cheeseburgers, a salad and 3 sides of French fries how are you going to only say we get 4 sides of ranch and need to pay extra if we want more?! We just spent over 40 dollars on food, I think you can spare some ranch! Plus, those sides of ranch used to be huge and now they're tiny! Quit being cheap Legends! It's not appealing. My 4 stars is based on how delicious the food is. I would give 1 star for customer service if I could! read more

Ordered a bacon cheeseburger with avocado and a crispy chicken sandwich. Both were very bland. No flavor. It's a very cool place but the food isn't all that great. read more

Horrible place first night living in glendora and decided to try it out..asked through drive through if it was ok to dine in and they said yeah without telling us it was almost closing time. All our food was wrong even though the receipt had clear instructions and to top it off not even 5 min eating our food they were kicking us out because they were closing flicked the lights many times N screamed at us to get out we didn't even finish our food...horrible customer service N the food was made half asses..never going there again read more

Delicious carne asada burritos and chilli cheese fries. Cute location and great atmosphere. Amazing customer service ! Must try

I grew up just a few blocks away from this place, and I have rarely had a good experience there. The portions are small (their gyro sandwich is tiny), the quality mediocre, and very over-priced. If I have a bad experience at a restaurant I am always willing to go back to give them a second chance, but I have given this place a lot of chances simply because it is so close to our family home. The last time I went there about 6 months ago, we had to wait 20 minutes in back of the car ahead of us until they handed them......a drink. That was the last straw, I was very angry and told the girl at the service window that I would not ever be coming back, and to tell this to her manager. I have not gone back since. read more

A Hamburger Joint that keeps me coming back! Portions Are great, Prices are low ! The burgers here have a really good taste and the fries are really good too. They offer a lot of different stuff. The only other thing that makes me come here is the Classic Chili Fries with Pastrami! WOW! read more

Just waited forever to get a pastrami sandwich. Extremely greasy and gross. Should have went to the Hat.

Legends has been a great go to place for lunch over the years, they do have a lot to offer for breakfast and dinner as well. Highly recommend this gem of a place in SoCal. read more

Very disappointed with the pastrami. They must have changed bakers for the bread, it was a tough chew. Meat was not the same as I have had in the past, it was not juicy and tender. I was there earlier in the year and it was awesome. I will have to go some place else. read more

This place seems to be a bit of a go to for some locals. It has good American and Mexican choices. The portions are hearty but so is the price tag for a place with a drive thru. I prefer the tuna salad because it comes with large scoops of tuna. The environment is nice if you are into throw back 60s themes. All and all a nice place to grab a quick bite but nothing to crave. read more

When you walk in you immediately notice all the flare. It has it's typical old school diner decorations all over, Johnny Rockets comes to mind, but this is even more heavily decorated. The place is huge, it has a large seating area. The biggest selling point of this place is it's price to food quantity ratio. The sides are ridiculously huge. Just ordering a small zucchini fries is almost enough food for me, and I eat a lot, like hungry fat kid amount. So the "large" option they have makes me wonder, "What exactly is large?" I haven't tried that yet, nor do I plan on to. And it seems like every side is like that. The rest of the menu consists of the typical American burgers and they have Mexican style foods as well. There really is nothing too unique about their menu other than their portions. And if you're hungry and broke, that should be enough to attract you over. So if you want a burger, and want a lot of food for a decent price, then pig out over here. After eating here you'll probably need to hit up the 24 Fitness at Gladstone though... read more

fun place! it's one of those diner-oldies-memorabilia places, with all the "comfort" food you could eat! j. had the pastrami burger (he said it was "excellent") and i had the cheeseburger, which was really tasty. the large chili fries were enough for 3 people. we didn't even finish it! but it was sure good. the atmosphere was fun. the service was good. milkshakes looked good, too. we had ice cream cones on the way out. i saw a old guy ordering a milkshake, and wished i had my camera. the look on his face seemed like he was a kid again, he was enjoying himself. awww. they have car shows, i think once a month, when everyone just brings their oldie car and shows it off. i hope to check it out one of these days. read more

Love it! Love it! Love it! I come here as frequently as my wallet allows.... not that it's expensive... I'm just paying off student loans! Where to begin... the fried mushrooms and zucchini sticks are AMAZING! So is their vegetarian burrito, chicken breast salad, turkey and avocado sandwich, I could go forever. I haven't had anything to eat here that I didn't absolutely love. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it. Completely awesome, 100% read more

Meh...I guess I made the mistake of not trying the burgers as its probably what a place like this is good at, but I had tuna instead. It was bland., not much flavor and left much to be desired. First time here so will probably give it another chance by trying a burger in the future. Today, not impressed, especially for the price. I will live but I won't be smiling on my way home. read more

Great place! I would recommend! Came here to bring my son to college and he wanted to show us this awesome and fun place!

I first started going here a little over a year ago, and on average I'm there twice a month. First off, don't expect a mind-blowing epic dining experience, it's all about the convenience and pricing at this joint. If you're just looking for something fairly quick and decent, this is your spot. My favorite item here is the Caliente Burger, which has a nice chunk of avocado in it, and the meat is a tad spicy (hence the 'caliente' portion of the name), but delicious. The carne asada is a bit inconsistent, but never below average. It's a cool place to have lunch, and worth checking out at least once. read more

A great place to look around 50's and 60's memorabilia. Too bad this place never got the ostrich burger. Why tease a customer about an item that will never be available. My favorite item here is the tuna melt. The chili cheese fries and large sampler are great for people who have the drunken munchies. I remember I saw a salad here one time and it was huge. Whut?! read more
