Newest updated review: The salon got repainted, the hair salon chairs removed, the tv moved to a difference wall, the nail color shelve moved to across wall, mirrors & painting decor & 1 new chair, so the owner decided to raise the price up on all the service. I don't mind a few dollar raised if the male owner (I think the husband) learn how to talk to me not so RUDE & I would appreciated if he told me there will be a charge on credit card transaction. Updated review: I had appt but they made me wait 1 hour. The lady turn on the water for my pedicure, went to the back & left me there for 20 min. Seriously! My go to nail shop. Parking can be a little difficult but the service makes up for it. The place is always clean and the staff is very friendly. Wide variety of regular and gel nail polishes to choose from. Monica and Lynn always do an amazing job! Just make sure to set up an appointment before you go becuase they could get very busy, walk-ins could wait for over 30min. Other than that they are near downey gateway and portos, so you can always meet up with the homegirls afterwards and grab some food to show off your nails. read more

I've been here 3 times, the first two times without appointment and I was still given very prompt service. The first two times also I got really good service and my nails looked amazing! The price was good. The third time though, I feel like the service was rushed even though I had an appointment. Everything seem to be going well until more people started showing up. Although my nails look good from a far, when paying close attention I can see the difference from my previous two visits. The edges of my nails were not properly polished. I also ended up with a few cuts on my toes from removing the cuticle. I understand it happens but a little "I'm sorry" wouldn't hurt or an explanation of why it happened. I called and set up an appointment for two pedicures, however upon arrival we were rudely told that we had only make an appointment for one. When we tried to explain how we had made an appointment for two we were again rudely told that we only had an appointment for one. I have been a loyal customer along with my sisters for about four years and we are finally done with this place! When Tanya was the owner service was great and my nails always looked amazing! All of a sudden Tanya was gone and there was a new owner. As soon as that owner took over customer service went out the window! The nails still looked good but service was mediocre. We decided to stay because it was cheap and the nails looked good. We finally had it this Sunday! Two of my sisters and I came in for mani and pedi's and we had the worst service ever! First of all the foot nail polish that was meant to compliment the champagne color i chose for my manicure was ORANGE! When i politely brought up that the color is not what I was expecting she automatically got bothered. The service then changed to roughly taking off the nail polish off my feet while grabbing a few color pallets and throwing them at me without saying anything. I asked her if she was upset and she snarlingly said no! When I asked for the original colors I had chosen so that I could compare colors she snatched the ones she threw at me and threw the original colors at me. As if that wasn't enough as I was trying to choose my new color the lady doing my manicure kept getting mad at me for touching the palettes I was supposed choose the color from. Can you freakin believe that?! I was so overwhelmed that I had finally just had enough! I told them to stop everything and leave me alone. As if that wasn't enough I am pregnant but they could care less! They also proceeded to charge me $30 for an unfinished manicure and pedicure. I walked out with no polish on my hands and feet! I have been getting my nails done at Le My's salon for about four years now. I've the years many people have come and gone but this place has a propensity for hiring very skilled nail techs. Today JC did my gel manicure and he attention to detail made for a perfect manicure. Not only are cuticles and nails clean and even, but my gel was applied beautifully as well. I have been coming to this place for a long time and have always loved how my nails come out. They take their time with your nails and make sure they come out good. They have a great gel and regular polish collection and usually have matching colors between gel and regular polish. I always get a pedicure and gel polish manicure and always leave happy and relaxed, the massage chairs are a huge plus. The pricing is not bad at all for the quality you get, basic pedicure is $16, gel manicure is $25 and gel polish change only $15. I recently tried the Special Pedicure for $25 and the hot stone massage was amazing on the legs. My gel manicure usually lasts about 3 weeks with no chips before I go back in for a polish change but I have even gone as long as a month and beside nail growth they still looked great. Only thing I recommend is always making an appointment, they do accept walk ins but they get so busy that it's just safer to make an appointment. read more

They were really good---luckily they by chance had an availability on a Saturday (someone canceled last minute). However you should really have an appointment if you want to go on either Friday, Saturday, or Sunday----it will be very difficult to get in if you just walk in. I went in and spent $58 with tip on my nails and toes. I had two of my natural nails broken and they said they would put powder on them. The same night the two nails crack in the same spot the same day. Went the next day and was told they were booked. Told me to come the day after and I was given 5pm, I was late due to traffic and when I walked in they said no they were booked again. Never will I go back. This place sucks! I came here this morning for a fill. When I asked the 'owner' if he could do a particular design he said no. I asked if there was someone else that could and he said no. I'm the only one who does nails. I told him can he do something similar he said no. So I then asked if he could just do my fill and he said he no longer wanted to do my nails because I'm rude for asking questions. After reading the reviews and seeing that this place was close to home, I decided to give it a try. Once you walk in, the atmosphere was very clean, warm, quiet & relaxing (maybe I got them on a good day!) Right away, the young lady, Tanya assists me and I get seated for my gel medi & gel pedi spa ($45) wow! Not only with the price but that they can do gel on your toes! I want it. Of course, w/out gel on toes, it's like $12-13 cheaper, but I wanted to try. The owner Tanya starts on my gel manicure while I was enjoying their massaging chairs. There was a little wait for my pedicure to start due to all the other chairs were occupied, but I didn't mind. I was in no rush, especially if I can relax. Tanya was very friendly & made me feel welcomed. I hate to see how others didn't get a good experience here but hey we all have some bad days on the job. Walked out very unhappy with my full set service today. They're short and stubby, I asked for medium. When he trimmed them they were good, but then filed them too much. Asked for square with a little filing on the sides not coffin and what did I get coffin. Not only that some sides are filed more than the other. Even underneath my nails I have big chunks that didn't get file off. Not only that he didn't start the acrylic where he should have started, it looks like I need a fill already on some of them. Now let's get to the gel polish, when is it ok to not polish the sides! Like are you serious! Just put it this way I really hate them! Now I have to get them redone. Should have just went to my usual spot. My pedicure on the other hand turned out very good! The lady did a great job! Definitely won't be going back especially since he was the only one doing full sets. Too bad for my toes. The man that did my full set also had terrible customer service. You don't talk bad about your customers to your customers. A lady called to reschedule her appointment from 12:30 to 1:30, but when she came in with her daughter he was confused he thought it was just for one person. So he looks at me as if I was on the phone with her. Then asks her what they want in a very annoyed way, then when she wasn't looking looked at me and told me he doesn't want to do their nails. Got there 10 mins early and they had the chairs ready for us in no time. The special pedicure I asked for was $25 bucks and it was very relaxing. I have never had hot rocks massaged on my legs, but it definitely was nice. When walk ins came the man in the front did tell them there was a wait because of other appointments. So I really do recommend calling ahead FIRST. My toes came out really clean and I am happy with the end result after the nail polish was applied. I would definitely go back.
