Tried a new salon and got a bob cut from Mandi. She was great, the salon was great, and the team was efficient, too. Love how the cut came out and how it somehow makes me feel both more polished and more like myself. Exactly what I was hoping for. Thank you, Mandi! read more

The lady with the red hair (shannon) fried my ends and was too busy doing my hair while working on two other girls at the same time, so she wasn't even paying attention. She clearly has no idea what she's doing because if you ask for blonde, you'll walk out orange. read more

I wanted purple tones added to my hair. Alyssa worked with me and was able to achieve that . It not an easy process by any means and requires a lot of patience and money. She is so sweet and accommodating . I have to say that overall I am very happy with the service. The only thing is that the color washes out quite quickly within 4 to 5 washes ( which she told me would happen) and my hair lightens . They make sure you're comfortable and the glass of wine comes in handy while waiting 4 hours. . Parking is easy and I never have to wait. They are very punctual. This is my second time coming and I'm still evaluating the process. But overall I can't complain . read more

Mandi and co salon is a great place to take care of your hair needs. They have very kind staff as well. They always deliver beautiful results I recommend coming here! read more

I got my appointment with Alyssa, she was very accomodating and kind! I know I have trouble sometimes describing the kind of haircut I get as I've only gone to cheaper hairdressers before this. So everytime my hairstyle has been a bit inconsistent and I don't have a solid example of what I usually get. But Alyssa was able to work with what I told her and checked in with me often to make sure the layers were cut to a length I was comfortable and she did a perfect job styling! This was my first time in a full-service salon! Very well worth paying more for a better result as they are very good at what they do. Definitely coming back again! read more

I started coming here because I no longer wanted to be blonde as it was getting expensive. I discovered Amber through Instagram and when I was finally over the blonde I saw Amber's work, booked an appointment & have been going to her since February. I have only had a handful of appointments but Amber is not only good with her work but she is funny & kind. She matches your vibe and tries to find things to talk about with you which is nice because sometimes you can be on the chair for hours depending on what you're getting done. In regards to her work, I love that she writes down what tone you get so that your hair always looks how you want it to! She does a great job with hair cuts. & lastly, she's always happy to answer any questions you have! I would definitely recommend Amber for your hair needs. read more

When you get stopped by people asking what do I use and who does your hair then you really know you have hit the jackpot. Mandi is truly talented to have brought my hair from the dead and I've truly have seen my hair transformation go from dry, brittle, split end, frizzy monster into long, luscious shiny healthy hair. I wished I had before pictures but only after pictures of my beautiful hair. Mandi gave me my beautiful wedding hair with extensions and she matched it seamlessly. I use all her branded products and now even my husband has been using them and loves them. He has wavy/curly hair so I've seen his texture of his hair improve and is less frizzy. The experience at the salon is always wonderful from getting my hair washed, with the wonderful head massage to walking out with by hair beautifully blown out and curled I just feel so beautiful! read more

Love love love Mandi! Brought my suffering hair to her in 2016. Her salon is great and the stylist are the friendliest, love them all. Mandi has done it all on my hair and trust her 100%. She keeps my hair looking stylish and healthy but more importantly (to me), she covers my greys very well! Ps. The music at the salon is always the best, they play the jams! read more

Mandi & Co. Salon - Love my hair by Shannon - Hair Stylists Near Me - Downey, California

Shannon's my girl! I have been coming to Mandi & Co and Shannon, for several years now. I'm still just as impressed, every single time, as I was the very first time! I still couldn't be happier with how Shannon works her magic on my hair and I'm so grateful I found her when I did. I simply could not recommend Shannon, or Mandi & Co. more. From the moment I walk into the salon, I'm always greeted with warmth and a friendly smile, not just from Shannon, but from everyone at the salon. It's just a really great vibe and all of these ladies get along so well, which really enhances the overall experience. Shannon has an eye for detail and a genuine understanding and love for her craft. She truly cares about her clients' satisfaction and it shows! I get lots of compliments every time Shannon does my hair. Check 'em out y'all. Any one of the stylist at Mandi & Co. do a great job. You won't be disappointed! read more

I was beyond satisfied with the cut that Mandi gave my baby girl. It was her first hair cut so she, Mandi, gave her the full treatment. I waited in the car because I wanted to make sure my little girl had the full experience without dad hovering over. Once done, Mandi walked her out and I was floored upon laying eyes on my beautiful little girl. My daughter raved about the treatment given to her by Mandi and she was ready to schedule the next visit. The prices are fair and definitely justified based on the quality of their craft. Their location is immaculate and would definitely recommend booking an appointment before hand. I would wholeheartedly recommend booking with Mandi. My daughter could not stop raving about her new friend! read more

Since my first appointment over 7 years ago it's always been such an easy appointment, welcoming staff, and the most talented group of gals! Shannon is my go to girl for all my hair needs! I have always felt comfortable just letting her take reigns over my hair and that's not easy for me! But her passion shines thru with every color, cut and just her being herself! She has been great with taking care of me and an easy referral when someone asks me about my hair! So this is a long over due review! Thank you ladies for being phenomenal and always making my hair salon appointments enjoyable with lots of laughs! read more

Been getting my hair done with Emily for almost 2 years and couldn't be happier with my experience at Mandi &co. I've been coming to this salon for years and shame on me for taking this long to write a review. I can't stress enough how much I love it. My first appointments were with Mandi and she completely transformed my hair. She's a hair genius and a beautiful person inside and out. When I've been unable to make an appointment with her (due to my hectic schedule) she has set me up the amazing stylists who were just as awesome. The stylists I haven't sat with are also highly skilled, as I've seen them at work and their clients hair consistently looks fabulous! I have most recently been seeing Margaret and she is excellent! Truly one of a kind. With both haircut and color she's given me exactly what I wanted every time. I don't know what I'd do without her. :) Mandi's hair products are top notch! I've tried the hair genius leave-in conditioner. It is my go-to as a heat protectant before styling my hair. It's between that and Unite's 7 seconds detangler, which is also carried here. I have also tried Mandi's rose oil which I use for my skin and scalp when they feel too dry. The rose oil is perfect because it gives just the right amount of softness without a greasy feel. The same with the Mandi & Co luxury serum, a little goes a long way and never feels sticky or too oily. All of these products smell amazing btw! I'm sensitive to scents that are too strong but these smell sooo good without being overpowering. My favorite is probably the dry shampoo. It's one of the first dry shampoos I've tried that does not leave that residue feel. And again the scent is light and dreamy! It's always a wonderful experience here. Everyone is so welcoming, genuine, and sincere and most importantly, they know what they're doing! Thank you Mandi & Margaret for giving me true hair confidence. read more

Mandi is by far a gem! Thank you YELP for existing...you allowed me to find this hidden treasure. Call for an appointment if you need to beautify yourself, no walk-ins. And due to the new norm Mandi is on it...you must adhere to all current state regulations due to COVID. The salon itself is immaculate with the feel of being in Palm Springs or Santa Barbara (modern decor, relaxing and spotless). The customer service was insanely professional, friendly, and accurate. My hair wash was heavenly which consisted of ideal water temperature, thorough wash, and a bit of a scalp massage which was thee ultimate! I shared a photo of my preference in hairstyle/haircut and VOILA! Shannon was there as well and she seems just as fabulous as Mandi. Thank you, ladies, for a fantabulous experience during these challenging times; you make a difference in people's lives. read more

MANDI IS A TREASURE OF A HAIR STYLIST! I was so happy she took over the previous salon that used to be there and made it her own. She is so down to earth and makes you feel so welcomed right when you enter. As someone who has thinning hair and dry scalp, I am always a little nervous for hair stylists to do my hair. Mandi never pointed out those insecurities and made me feel like a million bucks by the end of my appointment! I received so many compliments on my cut Definitely check out this place to be pampered and to exceed all your hair expectations! Thanks, Mandi! They really value your time here and they dedicate quality time to each client. They called me well in advance before my appointment to tell me that Arlene's first appointment might go longer than expected and asked if I could push my appointment back. Glad I did because it was a much better time for me anyway. The salon is soo cute and there's ample parking available! Arlene took time to understand what was going on with my crazy, dead hair. I hadn't had my hair cut in almost a year so it was a much needed cut. We talked about some cut options and she was so knowledgeable about the "in" styles. She also gave me some options for my specific hair type and style. I love that she was so gentle with my hair and I definitely left with smoother, healthier hair.
