Love the atmosphere great place. I'm a makeup artist and hairstylist at this salon and I'll say customer service is key to a good business.

STEPHANIE! Has given me the best hair transformation. I went from a dark brown to a beautiful copper color. She made suggestions that left me hair soft and shinny, keeping the integrity of my hair. Stephanie is amazing, talented,funny, patient and extremely helpful. The whole Salon is a vibe. Everyone working there is so helpful and pleasant; multiple services are offered in the facility.

3 month later no apology no refund but was told I was ridiculous don't come Here I've had to cut my hair all the way to my neck for All damage they worked On my extensions put bleach over my extensions instead of taking them out my new hair Stylist states my hair was Completely burned and that it was no professional at all they should have removed the extensions

Such a cute salon! Super chill and bright. There's even a little snack cart, plus an offer of coffee or water (Steph made me a tea cuz i was feeling kinda blah). Super personable. First off, I've been entrusting Stephanie with my blonde for a good minute now (just over a year n a half) and I'm sooooo happy! She is amazing!! She's constantly upping her game with classes, so you know she's never dull and always staying on top! ... plus she's been in this game for a long time so she's seen - and fixed - just about everything! STEPHANIE GONZALEZ is the best hair extension specialist ever!!! I had my 1st professional hair extensions installed by her a few years ago and i am absolutely happy with her work. My hair looks so natural & beautiful. She taught me how to take care of my extensions. And the best thing about her hair installation is that ur head dont hurt. Its not tight on your head meaning no head aches!!! Definitely recommend her !! 10/10 read more

I have not been to a new salon or have had anyone but my friend/stylist touch my hair in 30 years! Due to medical reasons my girl is out of commission for a while and since I haven't had my hair cut in over 2 months I was desperate. I live 2 minutes from Elysian Salon and checked them out on Yelp. Saw all the raving reviews about Steph G and took a chance. Im a 62 year old woman with very short and VERY fine hair. Im not the pickiest when it comes to a haircut because it seriously grows back so fast and to be honest I have no upcoming events so i figured what the hell? I hate being the "new girl" ANYWHERE! especially at a salon. Nowadays they're all young stylists with young clients who ALL have long, beautiful hair. so yeah i was a little hesitant and worried they'd think "oh God, here comes an old lady" Steph was SO cool and chill!! we started out a little quiet but once we started talking about our dogs and mutual love of all things goth....all my worries were gone! This girl was my daughter in another life!! She's so REAL and i just loved her personality, honesty and straight forwardness. My hair cut came out SUPER short and FANTASTIC! Ask for Sarah when you come here! this place is a hidden gem, when you enter you are welcomed with a very cute environment full of energy and super cute decorations! Greeted by the front desk person you are asked who you are there to see and from that point on you are in as I like to say... "hair world" I would say the experience every time I have came has been super pleasant and all the girls there are super nice, so conversation is always great! I went on my birthday and had a blast getting my hair done, having great conversations and drinking mimosas ;) read more

I loved loved my hair. I am not great a reviews but i loved my outcome. I had a horrible experience and was left with dry damage orangish low lights. I was tired of them and was hesitate to come (it is pricey) but i thought it would be worth it. I booked my appointment with Ale, and i was there on time. Upon arrival i was greeted and taken to my seat where i told her what i wanted (dark hair again). She said that she knew exactly what to do and i trusted her. Throughout the process she was super friendly and we were able to connect. When she showed me the results i was in LOVE! She gave my hair LIFE! She also shared with me the shampoos and treatment which she said are always optional. I took her advice and treatment. My hair hasn't been this healthy ever! A week later and I'm still in awe! Stephanie!!! You are to die for! I can't thank you enough for not only fitting me in last minute, but, taking the entire night to transform my hair. I came in after another hair stylist did a horrific job at not only installing my extensions but also educating me on how to take care of my hair. I appreciated Stephanie's honesty and immense amount of knowledge she has! She does not beat around the bush and wants to have you be happy on your his journey. My best friend recommended me to Stephanie and honestly I can't thank her and Stephanie enough. This was my first time doing extensions so I had no knowledge about anything. Stephanie took the time to teach me the techniques to wash my hair and how to take care of it to prevent damage. She educated me on all of the products I needed to use and said "this is like your skincare routine but for your hair" that phrase just stuck with me. I appreciated so much. She also did a smoothing system on my hair. I tell you I have the coarse hair, so a Brazilian did absolutely nothing, but what Stephanie did transformed my hair. Honestly night and day difference. I already recommended it to most of my friends. Stephanie knows what she is doing and is honest. She wants you to be happy and has such a beautiful personality. Thank you for taking your time on me Stephanie. Thank you for not just rushing. She is all about quality of work and wanting to make her customers happy. Steph G. kills it every time. I've been a client of Stephanie for 6plus years. When she mentioned she was moving to Elysian, it was a no brainer to follow her. She has turned me on to great products like curl manifesto and heat protectant by Kerastase, and my hair game has shifted as a result of Kerastase hair treatments. She is a color specialist, all I have to do is show her a picture and she nails it every time. I just had my first visit with her at Elysian and I love the salon! It's so cute not to mention clean. Everyones work station was well kept, you don't see hair all over the floor. The location is great, with its own parking which is always a plus. The hospitality and customer service at the salon is superb, they offer snacks and your pick of coffee, tea, or water. The music and the decor put you in the beauty mood. She eventually responded at nearly midnight, which I didn't see until morning, effectively canceling the appointment. I understand her reason for canceling, but what I don't understand is the lack of communication -- a quick text takes a minute. Booking this appointment was already frustrating due to delayed or no responses, & the last-minute message makes me feel like she wasn't even planning to reach out. I truly liked her work & wanted to remain loyal, which makes this extremely disappointing. I'll unfortunately be looking for a new stylist & a new salon.

This salon is truly the place to go to get pampered and feel like a million bucks! Sarah Ponce does amazing work on me every time I go in and I've been with her for 9 years now. I follow her on all of her professional social media sites and there's no one else I trust to make my hair shine every time! Ive also had work done by Roxanne the esthetician and she was amazing! My eyebrows are finally the shape I want them she spent so much time on them making sure they were perfect! She even drew them on for me leaving me totally done up! One Word "PERFECTIONIST" my hair stylist Sarah never fails me!! She has been my hair stylist the past 5 years until I moved to Artesia area about a month ago which put me too far from her salon , but she relocated here which is about 20mins away and well worth the drive! Sarah is always making sure my hair looks amazing and is always generous with product when it comes to hair treatments.
