First timer manicure review... I walked in without an appoint in the afternoon, they seemed busy but was quickly greeted and seated when told I wanted a simple gel manicure. I was given these nail color sample swatches to choose from, so many colors to choose from. I quickly figured out what I wanted and they got to work on me as soon as they were available. Took about 30 minutes and was out very happy! It was actually the first time I had my nails done at a nail salon ever in my life and I was nervous(I didn't tell them though). I wish I knew the name of the lovely lady who did my nails, she was great. She cut, shaped, and filed my nails to my natural nail shape quickly yet very gently. I had a bunch of uneven cuticles and hangnails and she cleaned them up real good. After she painted my nails and it dried, she massaged my hands. Very a nice first experience and I would come back again. Also, I noticed they have a "under new management" sign and I hope the best of luck to this business and the people here. :)

New customer and definitely will be a returning one. I drove up and I must've blinked and passed it up. Parking is in the rear and driveway in between them and bigger building. Not very big but 4/5 massaging chairs and 2 tables. They did a great job my my pedicure. Best I've had in awhile. Prices are pretty good as well. $20 pedicure! I don't get paint or any treatments so that is a great deal. I was the last appointment(5pm) and there was one customer there when I got there. I will definitely com back.

I made an appointment with Quang for full set acrylic. He definitely had the most interesting technique I've ever seen but he shaped my nails perfectly. Usually at other salons, my nails would come out looking really chubby and fat but Quang made my nails look normal. One complain would be that he took off my previous set by sticking another nail underneath my nail but overall, I would go back to him. He's very friendly and a pretty good nail technician. The price was $42 for gel. UPDATE: For some reason, full set is $42 while my fill costed $41. One complaint would be that I got cut but it's all good because Quang put medicine on it. I love his work. He's very detailed oriented and always makes my nails look very thin and nice.

Quang's work is beautiful! He spent a long time on my nails, making sure everything was perfect. My cuticles were cleaned, my nails were shaped and filed perfectly, and my acrylic was smooth and even. The length was exactly what I wanted and the polish was a perfect match to the picture I showed. The salon was very clean and I was able to make an appointment the same day. Lots of parking available and the shop is easy to find. Quang was very nice and friendly. Prices are great and he really knows what he is doing. He took his time to make my nails perfect. First timer manicure review... I walked in without an appoint in the afternoon, they seemed busy but was quickly greeted and seated when told I wanted a simple gel manicure. I was given these nail color sample swatches to choose from, so many colors to choose from. I quickly figured out what I wanted and they got to work on me as soon as they were available. Took about 30 minutes and was out very happy! It was actually the first time I had my nails done at a nail salon ever in my life and I was nervous(I didn't tell them though). I wish I knew the name of the lovely lady who did my nails, she was great. She cut, shaped, and filed my nails to my natural nail shape quickly yet very gently. I've gone to several nail salons in my lifetime. But Artistic Nails and Spa was by far the best experience I've ever had. This is under new ownership. I came for the first time under new ownership about a month ago. A woman who I would guess was in her 60s worked on me and did an excellent pedicure. Today I called and made an appointment for a pedicure. That woman no longer works here. The owner whose name is Nellie Did my pedicure. She was more interested in her cell phone than hearing my request. When I asked her to cut my nails more, she refused. The towels were worn and very dingy. Nellie appeared unhappy & I stated I'd rather leave than be exposed to her negativity. She improved by a minimal amount. She only put one coat of nail polish & one clear coat. Never returning. Addendum: The Owner Nellie I just responded to my review, which was today saying, I lied, and I'm not a good person. I did not lie. I think it speaks volumes for her character. Client beware. The yelp reviews from before were from previous owner. The new owner has no yelp reviews. Except the one I just did. I think the fact that her shop is always empty. Also speaks volumes for her poor service. read more

Shop has gone down hill now. Polishes are old, spa chairs do not work. Spa chairs hot water never works, or the massager. No waxing anymore and everyone quits. New ownership that offers nothing worth stopping for. Will not return. Also, have kids at the shop bouncing around while you are trying to relax. Overall horrible experience. Reviews of other workers are all old and not up to date. Save your money & honestly go somewhere else. I predict this shop will close soon permanently. read more

I really do love it here. It's a small local hole in the wall which means it's more personable. If you want acrylic nails you have to get them done here. The owner is the sweetest thing. Once a Math teacher now a nail shop owner and very artistic. Wonder why they call it Artistic Nails? Disclaimer: if you have plans the day you make your appointment, you should cancel them. This shop is small and they take their time making sure each client feels special. I've gone at 10 and left around 2 before. Think of it as a fun spa day, not as a get in and get out quick nail job. I tried this place months ago and decided to come back again. I was hesitant at first to try something new but the technician did such a great job, I absolutely love my nails. I am so happy I found this gem on yelp!!! Everyone there was so nice and accommodating!!! I needed to take an old set off, and put a new set on. I feel really bad I didn't get the names of the ladies that did my nails, but the woman that did my new set was so kind and gentle. The pedicure was fabulous she really took her time and did not rush it. It was a very lovely experience, the time, care and kindness of everyone in the salon. I would definitely go back again!! Jimmy also greeted me asked me if I'd like something to drink and was super friendly. Mia did my toes and she was amazing, friendly and gentle. Diane resurrected my nails and spent so much time fixing them to my liking. She was so sweet and gentle too. When I showed her a few designs I was interested in, she brushed them off and said it was "too early for a fall design," which came across as dismissive and a bit snobby. At the very beginning, when she was removing the old gel design, she used the bur tool so aggressively that I felt a burning sensation from the friction. One of my nail beds is now bruised because of this, which should never happen during a professional manicure. The gel application that followed was no better -- the cure buildup was crooked and uneven, with bulky, thick spots on several nails. She was not clean in her technique, and the overall finish looked sloppy and unpolished. Although she was personable, the combination of poor technique, lack of attention to detail, dismissive attitude, and physical discomfort made this a very unsatisfactory and unpleasant experience. I would not return and cannot recommend her services. Mind you that i was the very first client of the day!
