The only reason I am not giving this 5 stars is because I got gel manicure and regular pedicure in the same color, red. Somehow the red didn't match up. The red in the gel manicure was like a cheery red while the red in the pedicure was a darker wine color red which was what I wanted. I have never had this happened to me before. In the past, the gel and regular colors have always matched up pretty nicely. This nail shop is located in downtown Monrovia. My nail tech was very kind, super attentive to detail and cleaned my cuticles without me asking, which I really appreciate because it seems like you have to ask to have this done now? The photos are 1 month builder gel retention, and I am not gentle with my nails. I lift weights, wash dishes, and am generally pretty rough on my hands. There has been no lifting, no chipping, and no snagging. Manicures are not cheap anymore but this was 100% worth the money to me. I just moved to Monrovia and was excited to try Miracle Nails because I can walk there. I had a full set of Gel-X done on Saturday, July 26, 2025 with Holly. Everyone in the salon seemed friendly and professional, which made me hopeful. Unfortunately, once I got home and looked closely, the set was badly done--uneven lengths, bulky tips, lumpy surfaces, and a strange "candy-corn" shape. Even my daughter said press-ons would look better. Because the staff seemed sincere, I went back to give them a chance to make it right. On Tuesday, July 29, I spoke with a woman I believe was Tren (sister of Vi). She thanked me for coming in and asked me to return Wednesday, July 30 at 5:00 PM, assuring me she'd set me up with one of their best techs. I left work early, got ready, and walked over--only to be told at the front desk that there was no appointment on the books and the person who scheduled me wasn't there. No solution was offered, and I wasn't offered a refund either. So I ended up with a full set I'm unhappy with and a wasted afternoon. I wanted to love this place, but between the poor quality Gel-X and the missed "make-it-right" appointment, I can't recommend Miracle Nails. I won't be back. read more

The store is located in old town Monrovia off Myrtle. You can find street parking or in nearby lots. Scheduling an appt was easy. You can do it online but when I walked in they didn't seem to be expecting me. I was then asked to choose a color. They do have a great variety of colors to choose from. They also have snacks and drinks in the waiting area which is a nice touch you don't see elsewhere. The spa pedicure was nice. The massage was a good amount of time. She took her time and was detailed. She was nice. What disappointed me was afterwards. I was waiting for my nails to dry but it seemed like she forgot about me. I noticed she started working on another lady. I sat there for so long waiting for the ok to go. She never came. I rarely get my nails done and this was my first time here so I didn't even know when or how to pay so I assumed someone would come and give me directions when everything was ready. Saw this brand new nail salon the other day while walking around Old Town and since I'm in desperate need of a pedi I had to check it out - what a treat!! Michelle was my technician and she was FABULOUS - Very thorough and gentle and generous - great pedicure! I got the highest level pedicure- the volcano pedi that comes with all the basics plus callus removal, extended massage, and special fizzy water foot soak and lotions - it was so relaxing and delightful! The lotions and scrubs that come with the "volcano" pack smell so lovely - light and flowery - I also added on the paraffin wax - heaven! My feet are so soft and pampered like a baby's bottom haha!! They've only been open about a month now and the salon is very clean, chic and comfy - I loved it! They have a nice selection of treatments on the menu - all sorts of mani/pedi options, as well as waxing, threading, and even a kids menu. I didn't get polish in my nails (I almost never do) so I can't speak to that but they have a TON of colors - more than I've seen anywhere lol. Prices are reasonable and on par with what you'll find at most salons in the area - maybe even a tad better imo. They have a rewards stamp card that gives you $10 off after 10 visits. Staff were all lovely - extremely friendly, attentive, and welcoming. And they have WiFi that works very well. This used to be TLC Nail Spa but that closed and these new owners moved in after completely remodeling the space. Their grand opening will be Saturday 5/18/24 and they'll be having 20% off all day! The new pedicure chairs are high-end, very techy, and so comfortable! The kneading massage is lovely and there are even options for intensity adjustment. They also have those foot rests that support your legs while they work on your heels - so much more relaxing than trying to hold up my leg the whole time lol. They're located in the heart of Old Town - excellent location. There's plenty of street parking or public lots nearby and of course lots of awesome shops and restaurants so make a day of it. Omg, where do I start? My daughters and I have been patronizing this place for well over a year+ now. Historically, I've chosen to overlook the owner's rude attitude, complete lack of eye contact and disregard for customers' sentiments. However... today was the last straw... I asked the pedicurist to please paint the tips in my toes, which I don't feel should be something I should have to request but with no avail, I'm still left with white tips at the end of my toes.
