Just want to caveat that I've never had my nails done before in my entire life so I could be totally wrong.... For my first time, I will say that the ladies at this place were all super nice and flexible. Helen welcomed me in and was explaining to me how it works and what gel nails are. Mind you, I've been a nail bitter since I was 5 so if my cuticles are fucked, they didn't say a word and went right to work. That said, the nails turned out nice. No pain except a bit on the left pinky but again, habitual nail biter so not their fault. I paid 65 total for the set and manicure. + 9 tip (1 dollar extra for credit card) so 75 total. I had to get this for a conference but hey if I needed to get this done, this place seems solid! Again I know nothing bout nails so.... Place was pretty clean, she pulled out a whole bunch of new supplies which was nice. would come again if needed! I'll figure out how this works somehow haha read more

Came here last minute because my nails needed done before my grad party, and my nail shop was busy so I needed to find a place asap! I called and they said I could come at 3pm. The nail shop is not quite modern and can be updated and dusted a lil but they do all service here!! I needed a feel pedicure and acrylic fill w/ design. I got the diamond pedicure that is the highest on the menu and it was well worth it !!!! Karen worked on my feet and she was phenomenal!! Super patient and made sure she got all dead skin on my feet and cuticle right!! She did her thang I would come back here for the pedicure service with Karen!! I recommend her for your feet ! For my fill I got Kelly and she was very patient I wanted a design and I did not end up liking it since my nails were short, so I told her to to black French tip and gold so it would be to my liking!! For the past few years, I've only ever went to the same nail salon with my mom for simple manicures and pedicures but I've been interested in designs lately. So I've been looking around for a new place and found this one through recommendations. I went here for the first time yesterday for a full set and the revival pedicure. Absolutely loved it here! I appreciate how the pedicure has an exfoliation included. They also ask to see the exact design and reference that throughout the process which is a good sign to me that they try to get it as close to the inspiration as possible. First time coming here and I usually get my nails done. I called in for an appointment for gel manicure. Got seated pretty quickly. I didn't see the website before coming here, but it listed it to be 33 minutes...I'm not used to having my manicures limited to a time, but it really felt like my lady was rushing through my nails to meet those 33 minutes. I felt like there were portions of my cuticles that were not as cleaned because she was really rushing through it. There were several dry skin left, the under of my nails were not cleaned, was a bit rough with it (because once again she really seemed to be rushing) and they just rubbed oil and sent me off. I enjoyed coming here for the first time. It's a nice, clean place, and the staff is really friendly. I'll definitely be back. My only concern is that my nails came out a bit lumpy on my left fingers. I'm not sure how or why that happened, but Kelly was very nice about it and fix them for me. They're still a slightly lumpy, but it will do for now until my next visit. I just hope they last the usual two weeks, which is when I normally return to get them done again. I was in the area and had some time to kill. I walked in without an appointment and they were able to assist me. This was a very casual place and there were a lot of technicians there. However, it was a little hard to understand their English. I needed a gel removal and a basic manicure (just a top coat). They suggested i get my nails buffed because the shine will last longer. So i did just that. As I was sitting there with foils on my fingers, I get a work call and luckily they didn't have a do not use cell phone sign in their shop. I quickly answered over speaker because I couldn't use my hands. The technician was able to assist me afterwards. At one point, the technician had a coughing attack. I was unsure if she was sick, but she did wear a mask while working on me. She did also at one point nicked my cuticle so I bled a little. For this, im rating it as a 4 star. Towards the end of the buffing, I asked what other services they provided and I ended up with their $38 manicure package. I got a 10 minute massage, a scrub, and hot towels. It was nice, but she was a little hard on the massage. This place wasn't bad and they were all nice. They gave me a hand lotion as a holiday gift. They really didn't have to. read more

The manager or owner made me pay my bill BEFORE my nails were done - that is not standard. You don't pay for a service before receiving it!!! I've never done that for nails, massage, facials, etc. I'm not sure if it's because it was late and she wanted to close the register but I found it very unprofessional. She even INSISTED I go with a sparkly top coat instead of chrome because 'it's cheaper' and 'looks the same.' The only reason i decided to go with the sparkly coat was because my nail polish application was so uneven and bare after two coats. My nail tech Karen was a SWEETIE. She was lovely and very kind, but it unfortunately did not make up for the bad technique she used on taking off my polish which left some gel residue and an uneven base to work with. I've never had someone remove my polish like she did. I came on a Sunday because my go-to nail place was closed and I needed a manicure before the week. Sadly, I will not be back. read more

As much as it pains me to write this the experience I had today was awful. I went and had my hard gel fill yesterday a design I'd try a design. I never do. I showed her my picture and she said she could. I kept asking to see the colors but I was never given the colors. She just kept bringing what she thought would work. The nude base I kept saying wasn't a match and she said it was. I was frankly tired of arguing. When I went home I couldn't get over they just weren't what I asked for. So I called and asked if I could come back to have them fixed. I had to text a picture the the manager for approval of what I had compared to what I wanted because they had offered to fix them but for a fee of what I had already paid yesterday. I came in today and she was so angry. Every color I pointed out for she design she said couldn't be done. It won't show, it's not right. She was holding my hand very tight, filing roughly and repeating you didn't say anything. Just really angry I had come back. For what I spent I'm actually really bothered I couldn't even get what I was asking for. So I again conceded and just got an all over color. I did love this place before. But I pay too much to be told I can't choose the colors or design I want. She even changed the shape of my nail today. I go in for a monthly mani/pedi. It's simple--but they do an excellent job. They have an extensive menu for all of you who get something more complicated done. I make an appointment because they seem like they have consistent clientele--plus they take walk-ins. I'm in & out fast, which I appreciate with an intensely busy schedule. The place is clean. I would've given this place 1 star if it weren't for the woman who does my pedicures. She's amazing and always does a great job. However, I've now had two disappointing experiences with manicures here, and unfortunately, I won't be returning. About a month ago, I was mildly disappointed with a design that didn't match the inspiration photo I showed. I decided to give it another chance because I truly loved the pedicure experience. This time, I showed the front desk employee my reference picture, and she was transparent, saying the pink might not look exactly the same. I thought she meant just a slight color variation, which I was okay with. But the airbrush technique used ended up getting on my skin and made the whole nail look like one solid color, nothing like the design I had in mind. I didn't say anything right away because I really dislike confrontation. I planned to pay, leave, and get them fixed elsewhere. What made things worse was when the tech tried to clean the polish off my skin. First, she used remover, but when that didn't work, she started cutting the polish and ended up cutting me pretty badly, especially on my right ring finger. My cuticles were left burning and irritated. She apologized, but then just told me to wash the other hand and the excess polish would come off over time. That's why one hand has polish all around the cuticles in the photos, and the other doesn't. I got the courage to speak up as I was about to pay. I mentioned that the design didn't match the inspiration photo and was about to ask for discount, but she insisted on trying again with a different color. I appreciate her trying to fix it, but it just couldn't be done here. After attempting to figure out different methods, I gave up on the original design and just asked for the polish to be removed and to leave with natural nails. Unfortunately, I won't be coming back due to: 1. Over three cuts on my cuticles (three visible, but more than 3 are just painful and irritated) 2. Nail polish left on my skin (with an attempt To cut it off??) 3. A design that didn't match the contrast in the inspiration picture at all It's disappointing, especially since the pedicure service is so great, but the inconsistency with the manicures and the injuries just aren't worth it for me. read more

I was chatting over Yelp and was able to do a walk-in. I had two nails on the verge of breaking and just wanted something simple to hold me til I went to my usual place. But I won't be back. They only showed me a few of their colors even after I asked about the ones not pictured but clearly displayed on the wall. She cut my nails down after I asked her to do "lil" trim. She asked what shape I wanted, I said ballerina. She gave me square. Her drill bits were still dirty from the last client. One of the messiest hard gel applications I've had. I decided on regular nail polish and gel toe nails. My friend decided on gel extensions on her nails and gel toe nails as well. We paid for 2 manis (1 regular and 1 gel extension) and 2 gel pedis for about $165. I have a photo attached but WOW. My regular nail polished nails have lasted for FIVE DAYS!!! Not even ONE CHIP!!! I will come here from now on no matter what! Every time I get regular polish on my hands, it chips within 24 hours. Guys, what a GEM. I was stuck in insane traffic trying to make my way to my usual nail salon, and there was no way I'd make it on time. I called up maybe 5-7 salons in the Arcadia area, and this was the only one that had availability at 6p. The salon is discrete, a little hole in the wall business and not crazy fancy or flashy. Also no appointment necessary. But WOW. My manicure was so done not only so fast but so professionally and with so much care and intent. And if that isn't already a selling point, the price points here are MUCH MORE affordable than other places I've been to. I'm also wildly impressed with the designs that the ladies here are able to make given price point. I honestly am incredibly happy with my results and my experience. This Nail salon is a top tier! I don't get my nails done often but I needed to for my sister's wedding this weekend. All the women helping me and my sisters were very kind. I get having a long day, but you should always treat your client with gentleness, well the ladies doing my pedicures and GelX nails were nice but not very gentle. She would just shove my hand in the uv machine and the girl doing the pedi was just trimming to hard making my toes very red. Besides that they were lovely and patient about my slight pickiness in colors. I will say the girl doing my nails did not seem skilled in designs for nails. She did OK with the French tips but when she did my ring finger (flowers) she just kept re-doing it and getting frustrated. She also put a black dot in the middle of both flowers when the inspo picture has yellow. I didn't want to correct her as they was getting quite annoyed with the small dots. In the end I don't mind the black and she did her best. Also I don't know if this is normal but she laid the glue in THICK and did not cut my nails very well. My thumb nail is sticking out it's kind of annoying. Maybe I'm not used to GelX nails. I can't speak for my sister's much but the older lady who did ombre on one sister did really well it's stunning. Yet my other sister has to have her nails re done because the first lady did the complete wrong color and she couldn't communicate to her she didn't like the color. When I tell you I'm amazed at the amount of effort that was spent just on my toes. I appreciated the responsiveness of the business and the availability. I was able to get a same day appt on June 16th for Extra Long gel x nails and a basic regular polish pedicure. The pedicure was great and polish still looks good. However, the Gel X didn't last at all. This week I have had 3 nails that lifted and 1 that completely tore off. In my Gel X experience I have been able to keep the same set on for 5 weeks so for a set to not make it 10 days shouldn't be happening.
