I went here for lash extensions and hands down - this is the best place I've ever been to. The lash tech was very gentle and patient with me; I think I literally fell asleep like 3 times and woke up in a tizzy. I was EXTREMELY relaxed as the area is very comfortable and clean. The ambiance she set up was also so comforting! My lashes literally lasted over 2 MONTHS. I have no idea what glue she used but it never felt uncomfortable or itchy like other places. Well... I didn't think I'd actually enjoy sugar waxing as much as I do especially Brazilian! I wanted to wait before writing a review and I just finished my second session with Brazilian waxing and now have included underarms. I gotta give credit where it's due and Jasmine is AMAZING. My first time with Brazilian sugar waxing I didn't know what to expect but she definitely put me at ease and made me feel comfortable. Jasmine was thorough and transparent. She explained that the more you do sugar waxing the thinner your hair grows back hence less pain but you gotta be consistent! She is very sweet, professional, and consistent with her work. She is gentle yet swift. PRO TIP: Look no sugar waxing is gonna be 0 pain especially if it's your first time so don't expect no rainbows and unicorns. The middle of your lady parts is the most painful. Although Jasmine is great and she's good at what she does, bare in mind that there will be pain BUT IT IS TOLERABLE. I noticed she will swipe 3 times before she waxes the hair out. So I count to 3 and on 3 I take a deep breath, it helps lol. You'll feel a quick zap of pain feels like you got flicked hard with a rubber band BUT it only last like 10 seconds then you're back to lala land feeling great listening to the awesome music that's playing in the background. My second session, I didn't feel as much pain as the first time she was right when she said hair grows back thinner each time you sugar wax. I also did underarms this sessions and didn't feel any pain for that area. All I can say is if you've been looking into sugar waxing DO IT. YOLO. BOOK with Jasmine and you have just unlocked a new level of greatness. Expect to feel super clean, light as a feather, and smooth like a baby's bottom. Ahhh... I waited 1 month and 7 days to write this review. Let me just tell you I still have extensions on! It may not be as full as the first few weeks but the fact they are still there speaks volumes of how awesome Jasmine's work is. I'm sure I could maintain my lashes for another month but I need a full set done again for several events I'm attending this month and I want them ample. Wait for my next update to see if it holds up for 2 months! The facility is clean and there is ample street parking. Jasmine was very courteous and professional. A friend of mine recommended Jasmine at JBeauty to me because she got a full set done and the eyelashes survived a very humid trip in Southeast Asia. I was in a bind because I needed my eyelashes done the same week I requested an appointment as I had a wedding to attend. Unfortunately, Jasmine was not available but someone else was. I gladly accepted. At the end of the appointment, Jasmine could tell that I was not very happy with the outcome but I was getting on a plane in 10 hours so there was not much I could do. After I arrived back from the wedding I requested to have the eyelashes removed but Jasmine reached out to me personally saying she would remove and redo my full set. I tried to schedule an appointment and they proceeded to tell me I would have to Venmo them the full price of the service just to reserve the time slot..! Never in my life has this happened. At the very least set up an official portal to hold a deposit if you really feel this is necessary for your business. To tell a client that they need to Venmo you is not only absurd but it is also against Venmo's user agreement. My experience here was great. I texted for an appointment and would've been happy with anything in the next week, but she had a same day appointment which was super convenient. She responded super fast! I would say the atmosphere was off for me, it just didn't feel super relaxing. However, I came just to get sugared and to get out so I didn't dwell. I didn't come in to have a spa day lol. I left having the best results I've ever had from sugaring! I get sugared every 4 weeks and I've tried different places but I was living out of state so I wasn't sure what to expect here. Details: I normally get red little pimples every time I get sugared and they last for a few days. The skin would be super red, inflamed, and sore for the first day or two. I thought this was just the norm and that I should expect this every time. I didn't experience ANY of that after getting sugared here. No bumps, no extreme redness, no soreness... it was amazing. I've also been known to get ingrown hairs after sugaring - which is super annoying because it shouldn't happen as often - but I didn't really get any ingrowns after. It's been 3 weeks and my hair growth has been sparse (which could be a result of the length of time I've been sugaring consistently...) but I like to think that it just has everything to do with how great of a job she did. I would definitely come back and recommend to anyone who is just looking to get the job done (a great one at that!). read more

If I could give her a one star I would. I have been coming here for longer than I should have, after moving down here I realized she is one of the few people in the area that does sugar waxing. At first I thought she was good, but I have gotten many more ingrown hairs than I ever did with previous waxers. But didn't really have a choice but to keep coming. Some days she is gentle, other days she is rushing and hurts you. Overall tho the actual job is okay and would deserve a 3 star. However, I have always tipped her 5-10 dollars each session. Today I had chosen not to leave a tip when I paid cash, I had just put away my change, and she decided to wave in my face the paper she has typed on that gratuity is appreciated. Asking me if I wasn't leaving anything. I was confused for a second and asked her what she meant and she kept waving it and asking for tip. I was shocked that she thought this was the reasonable way to ask for a tip. I told her not today and she asked me if I didn't like the service, I told her I did which is why I paid I just couldn't leave a tip today but I always have in the past. She behaved very condescending until I put $5 down and then she kept asking if I didn't like it and that tip is needed. So after a bit I asked for the tip back, and told her I wouldn't be booking her again. She kept repeating the same thing over and over again. I explained you do not ask for a tip, a tip is the customers choice but you also do not demand it and wave a paper around. Honestly if you don't have a choice to go elsewhere come here, but always leave a tip, if you don't you're going to get judged and spoken to in a very condescending tone and speech. I was introduced to eyelash extensions a little late in the game... and I LOVE how they look & never want to be without! My cousin referred me to Jasmine & she does a great job. She only books by appointment & promptly replies to my texts. At my appointments, I never have to wait, she is the only one there. Her office has a very nice ambience, is very clean/sanitary & soothing music is played. Her process is so peaceful, that I am relaxed always fall asleep. Parking is easy, too. I got my first full set in mid-September (used Yelp discount!) & have been back twice for refills (1 hour sessions). Although I am due for another refill they still look good. The fullness has lessened but the length is still obvious. I get many compliments from others, including how natural they look. There are mainly 4 different types of eyelash looks but she verifies the amount of curl & length that you want. Each time I have gotten the same look. Just got my refills in today and I love them! I initially came two and a half weeks ago for a brand new full set and got the dramatic wispy look, even though I liked it I wanted to go more natural the second time around. So for the refill I asked if I could get shorter lashes and she did exactly that! Now they're natural fluffy and perfect , just in time for vegas ! Make sure to call in for a reservation. I definitely recommend this place, very clean and sanitary. It's also very comfortable, which is important since you're laying down for one and a half hours to two with your eyes closed. I've been coming here for about 5 months for my sugar waxing. I absolutely love this place! It's extraordinarily easy to set up an appointment, and what I love is that your number is saved so you're remembered! It's a nice quaint and CLEAN place. It's always nice and quiet when I go (besides my inner yelling because sugar waxing hurts more for me than a regular). It is street parking, but theres plenty of parking around. They're also very accommodating when it comes to having to reschedule as well as when i was running a few minutes late (I was less than 15min late, so you know, maybe dont get any ideas on being late all the time).
