I was able to get a free manicure with the purchase of a pedicure. Definitely take advantage of the specials! The service was exceptional. Yanni did both my mani and pedi and I appreciated her attention to detail. She didn't rush the services and took her time to take care of my nails. I felt bad because I messed up one of my nails while waiting for it to dry, but she fixed it with no problem. She was super friendly and sweet, and I would definitely come back to do my nails with her. The nail salon itself was pretty small - 2 manicure nail stations and 2 pedicure massage chairs. The massage chair was a definite plus, as I enjoyed using it during my pedicure service. The interior, including the bathroom, was very clean and well kept. They welcome walk-ins, but I would recommend calling or texting beforehand to set up an appointment. I called them on a Saturday morning and was able to schedule a same day appointment for the afternoon. Parking was easy as they have their own lot. Where do I start? I had issues setting an appointment with another waxer so I decided to try Monique's expertise. Monique is the best and the nicest person I've ever met. You'll find out when you meet her. So sweet and gentle. My last wax was more than 5 years ago because I almost passed out after from the pain and I never wanted to have it done again, I told monique about that experience and that I'm pregnant right now and might be more sensitive. What a fantastic little gem and find! I was so lucky to be able to do a drop in at the last minute, and they were so sweet and over-accommodating for my request. I was hoping for a gel mani and pedicure set, and they were willing to service me with only an hour left of open time. They did not rush me nor the procedure; they treated me with such great consideration and kindness, it could melt a puppy's heart. And the prices are very reasonable. She stayed overtime to make sure I was fully taken care of and got all that I needed, AND THEN ON TOP OF THAT, she gave me a HUGE special discount just for supporting their business! Even with her great kindness, I promised her I'd never do her wrong again by coming in last minute, lol (poor planning on my behalf). Also, keep in mind, the shop is on the smaller end so don't bring a whole gang of your girls; maybe just you + 1, but it is super cozy and cute. They also offer other services such as facials, waxing & eyelash extensions (done by a different technician). They speak English and are super sweet! Also, K-dramas (w/ subtitles) are played on an HD TV (overhead) for all to enjoy. The shop was very quiet and peaceful, and I felt no pressure to converse which is a huge plus. She was super focused but always attentive, esp if I needed anything, even so far as providing chargers for customer's phones by the pedicure station. She was very mindful to give me mental space so that I could relax, talk on phone, or watch their Kdrama, if I wanted. There is a parking lot to the side of the shop which you can easily pull into from Alta street which is super helpful and convenient. Honestly, they are the sweetest and most helpful nail salon I've ever been to, and I am now a loyal client. It's in Arcadia, about a 13 minute drive from Pasadena only. Please make sure to TIP WELL! And BE KIND to them! If we want to keep spectacular customer service, then we as customers also need to be respectful and kind in return. My sister and I came in today for 2x Deluxe pedicures to celebrate my birthday and it was the best choice I ever made to pamper myself . I believe our nail tech was Yanni because everyone seems to be served by her and she stated she is the only nail tech available at the moment due to Covid! She was super attentive to the both of us and made sure we were comfortable. I had never received service like what I had received from her today from any other location. She impressed me most when she hadn't nicked me , bless her skills for that. Even when she was cleaning, she was very gentle with my skin and cuticles which I really appreciated. Her nail application is *chef's kiss* and I definitely will be returning here! If you are going to do the Deluxe, I would say prepare to have 1-1.5 hours of extra time set aside for it in case she has another client to tend to. Took my daughter to do nails yesterday after got hair cut from O'salon next door. It's really convenient. The store is clean and quiet. They do nails and facial. A week ago I went to remove my moles on my face.They were not quite ready yet. But this time everything is done and already had some customers. Now my moles are gone. I needed to get a pedi before the weekend and was eager to try out a new place that was close by. In doing some research and checking out Yelp, I discovered a brand new nail boutique in Downtown Arcadia. I was able to get a same day appt and parking was easy and plentiful (on both Alta and 1st Streets). The salon was exceptionally clean and bright, with a large TV in the middle. It is not a mega-salon with 20 chairs and people being churned in and out. It had 1 nail station, 2 pedicure chairs and a facial room. Personally, I prefer the smaller, boutique-y vibe with more personalized, attentive service. I also like that Yanni took her time with me - I received one of the best pedicure massages ever :) I got the Stress Relief pedicure which included a sea salt soak, sugar scrub, callus treatment, masque, paraffin, 10 min massage, along with all the usual items in a pedicure. Also, the chair massager worked! I don't know about you, but oftentimes, the chair massagers at nail salons are broken or have been overused and barely work. This was brand new and it felt like it! They have a grand opening special, so I got 20% off! You also have the option of getting a free mani with a pedicure (which i would've done, but I did my own nails at home a couple days before).
