I'm extremely disappointed with the customer service and lack of respect for customers' time at Urbane Nail Salon. I made an appointment for 11:00 AM and arrived on time. At 11:10, after already waiting 10 minutes, I asked when they would be ready for me and was told "5 more minutes." At 11:25, I was STILL waiting, and it was very clear that the technician wasn't anywhere close to being ready--she was still applying polish to another customer. What is the point of taking appointments if you have no intention of honoring the appointment time? I completely understand that salons can occasionally run a few minutes behind, but making a customer with a scheduled appointment wait 25+ minutes with no realistic update or apology is incredibly rude, unprofessional, and poorly organized. I'm a mom of two and specifically scheduled this appointment in advance because I only had an hour available before I needed to get home to make lunch for my kids. My time matters too. Had they been upfront and told me they were running significantly behind, I could have made the decision not to wait instead of wasting nearly half of the limited time I had. Unfortunately, this experience showed a complete lack of consideration for a customer's time. If you cannot accommodate an 11:00 appointment, don't book an 11:00 appointment. I left without getting my nails done, and I will not be returning. Very disappointing experience and extremely poor customer service. read more

She was so patient with me to get the detailed look I needed for an event I needed to attend Sat She was so kind to pay attention to every detail and made sure to achieve the look I wanted with my nails. She is super professional & talented! MIMI, was the nail tech who did my pedicure ,she was so thorough on making sure she got my feet not just looking great , But feeling great & healthy. I work 12 hr shifts on my feet , Mimi, made sure to truly exfoliate my calloused heels & get all in growns fixed Nail wise.My feet were transformed into soft &smooth & feeling great again. She made sure the color & length for my nails were also achieved in the details I expressed.. My feet felt brand new after this pedicure. But all the ladies were so kind and accommodating. Their customer service is definitely 5 stars .their venue has street parking spaces in the front . But I absolutely love how they can accommodate for people with busy schedules. Our nail tech, Mia's, attention to detail was impeccable, and she really took the time to make sure she understood my sister's vision and executed it well. When I got there, the PEDICURE technician was hostile reeking of HUMAN-TRAFFICKING, working up to 13/ day with NO pay in over a month. She was very rude. She was slamming things down. I absolutely hate leaving yelp reviews but ... ??? what was that service? I'm still appalled. service - non-existent, complete trash.. not a single worker in that store looked happy to be there. why did everyone look so miserable working there? its 90+ degrees weather outside and they had no AC, no fan, no open door or window for ventilation. I was sweating... paid over $130 for a at best mediocre to below average full set / pedicure service. $130!????? and to top it off she glued my skin to the acrylic on multiple fingers. i almost want to go to another store and get them removed but you know, i paid over $90 for a full set. outrageous. I religiously get my nails done every three week'ish.. It's my one thing I look forward to but this place totally ruined it. My original nail salon that I've been going to for the past three years moved quite far from me so now I am left to find a new place. I am a loyal cliental. I honestly don't mind at all paying for a good service but paying $130 + tip + a credit card transaction fee for a below average service I could have received at another shop for $70-$80 blows my mind. do not waste your time.
