I go to Idol nails every 2-3 weeks for my regular fill . Julin is always very friendly and accommodating to what type of nails I want . She takes her time shaping , refreshing each nail & due to the fact I have arthritis she is very gentle and moves her body around to be able to give me the best final product. Since my hands get stiff after awhile. When I call to have an appointment she is very mindful of my time and treating me as soon as my appointment time arrives. I highly recommend Idol nails , all staff is friendly and treat with care.

Be careful! The workers are very nice but the shop is not sanitary at all. I came in for a "clean up" pedicure yesterday and ended up with bleeding cuticles and an infected toe that hurts so bad!

BEST SQUARE NAILS IVE EVER RECEIVED! So glad I tried this place yesterday all the ladies working were so nice & the lady that shaped my nails took her time & did amazing! She paid very close attention to detail. Great job! Usually when I go somewhere I'm scared to ask for square shape because they always end up doing coffin shape instead accidentally hahaha but this place got it spot on! I'm so happy with my nails!

I honestly could not be happier with my nails. From the moment I sat down, the experience was amazing. The attention to detail was incredible and you can tell a lot of care and skill went into the set. The shape is absolutely perfect, the design came out exactly how I imagined it, and the quality is seriously top tier. My nails feel strong, comfortable, and they look so clean and professional. I've gotten so many compliments already and people keep asking where I got them done. You can really see the effort and talent that goes into the work. Nothing feels rushed and everything looks flawless. I will 100% be coming back again because this is easily one of the best nail sets I've ever had. Great experience at Idol and I'll be back! Lyna did an amazing job with my toes. I got a deluxe spa pedicure. She was very thorough and it felt very pleasurable--massage was great! She checked in several times to make sure I was happy and it was very cute because she would keep saying "thank you" when I told her I was good. The shape of my toenails and paint came out perfectly! I've had an extremely hard time finding a reasonably priced nail salon that does a great job in a timely manner. I received a gift card for Idol Nails for Mother's Day and was very excited to try out a salon that I haven't been to since high school. I got in my car and cried. The one thing I wanted to do was get a good nail service and feel good for once! I haven't had my nails done in probably six months. I got a nail polish manicure and the Firewalker Pedicure. My cuticles were barely touched, massage was terrible, the product was skimped on, AND there is still my old nail polish on my cuticles. Unfortunate experience. I will not go back or recommend to a friend. read more

This salon is good if you just want a simple manicure , if you want a design DO NOT GO THERE. They are not the best at designs . I showed them a picture they said they could do it and they did it but very sloppy , I asked them to fix it three times and every time I either saw it the same or just got worst. I am personally not going back there . read more

Went In To get a pedicure and manicure, Be careful before you start your service the prices when walk in and posted in salon are not the same as on their website, and when you ask them, why? They don't seem to like it. Prices are on an average $7 to $8 higher. read more

I love this place! Although they take walk-ins, definitely call ahead so you get in. Mary and Donna are my favorites for pedicures (since I get ingrown toe nails). The ladies go the extra mile to make you happy. Sometimes the color I pick doesn't look as I thought it would. The ladies get creative with layering glitter or another color to make me happy. These are some of the reasons why I've been coming here for years. read more

I have been coming here for at least three years. As always, I call to make an appt first. I asked for 12:45 appt but was told 1pm was better. No problem. I arrived 5 mins early. Then sat for 30 mins. I asked how much longer and stressed that I called 1st and made an appt. They moved me to a chair and again I sat for 10 mins, no water even in the basin! This has happened a handful of times to me here. At check out, I was given 10% off my bill. Sorry but there are too many nail shops nearby to deal with this again. read more

She was annoyed when I showed her my pic I wanted to copy. Buuut Instead of addressing the issues I pointed out, the technician grabbed my hand, held it down, and began cutting off my nails. I never asked for my nails to be cut and did not give permission for that service. I only wanted the uneven shaping and dents corrected. The handling felt rough and uncomfortable, and I was shocked that my nails were cut without my consent. When I told her that wasn't what I wanted, she simply told me to pay for the pedicure only. By then, my nails had already been cut much shorter than I wanted, and the situation could not be undone. Such lack of communication and respect for what I had actually requested. Customers should be listened to and asked before any significant changes are made to their nails like grabbing a hand and cutting off the nails. And based on this experience, I would not return.

At the very beginning, when she was removing the old gel design, she used the bur tool so aggressively that I felt a burning sensation from the friction. One of my nail beds is now bruised because of this, which should never happen during a professional manicure. The gel application that followed was no better -- the cure buildup was crooked and uneven, with bulky, thick spots on several nails. She was not clean in her technique, and the overall finish looked sloppy and unpolished. Although she was personable, the combination of poor technique, lack of attention to detail, dismissive attitude, and physical discomfort made this a very unsatisfactory and unpleasant experience. I would not return and cannot recommend her services. Mind you that i was the very first client of the day!

All the employees are super nice. They have a really good selection of gel polish. Their massage chairs actually work and are some of the best I've ever sat in at a nail salon. zero stars!!!!…read more absolutely furious. absolutely outraged. absolutely disgusted. my sweet, respectful, polite, shy young daughter went into this salon expecting a peaceful, relaxing nail appointment. instead, she was completely ignored, bulldozed, pressured, overcharged, and treated with a shocking level of disrespect. we called ahead and specifically made an appointment for dip nails with tips. we knew exactly what we wanted. we requested dip nails with tips multiple times. there was no confusion. after putting on the tips, the technician proceeded to apply gel x instead. we immediately spoke up and corrected her. not once. multiple times. we said dip nails. we called for dip nails. my daughter asked for dip nails. instead of listening to the paying customer, this woman looked us in the eyes with her beyond evil bad energy and argued with us and tried to tell us what we should want. she acted as if our opinion didn't matter and as if she had the right to override the service we specifically booked and were paying for. how dare you look us into the eyes with your beyond evil eyes,bad energy eyes and soul and ignore a customer's request over and over again? how dare you decide you know better than the person paying for the service? as if that wasn't enough, the technician also made my daughter's nails much longer than she asked for. my daughter specifically requested a shorter length, but her request was completely ignored. when we asked for them to be shortened, the technician refused. what makes this even more infuriating is that this happened to a sweet, shy, respectful young girl. her kindness was taken for weakness. her politeness was taken as permission to steamroll right over her. she was completely disregarded while an adult continued doing whatever she wanted. we should have walked out the second she ignored our requests. the only reason we stayed was because she had already glued the tips on my daughter's nails and we felt put in a position where we had no choice but to continue. looking back, i regret not getting up and leaving right then and there, even if the job wasn't finished. no customer should ever be made to feel trapped into a service they did not want simply because the technician decided to proceed against their wishes. we clearly stated what we wanted multiple times, yet our requests were completely dismissed. once the tips were already applied, it felt like the decision had been taken out of our hands. that is not how paying customers should be treated. then to add insult to injury, we were charged even more, $60 instead of the $50 we were told over the phone when we made the appointment for dip with tips! we were charged extra for a service we did not want, did not request, and tried to stop multiple times. and the part that makes me even angrier? we actually left a tip. we should not have. after being completely disrespected, overridden, violated, robbed, and ripped off, we still left a tip out of decency, a decency that was never shown to us in return. a nail appointment is supposed to be relaxing. it is supposed to be a treat. instead, this experience left us feeling violated, robbed, manipulated, and completely disrespected as paying customers. please do not spend your hard earned money here unless you want your requests ignored, your voice dismissed, violated, robbed, and your wallet emptied for services you never asked for. i have never been so angry after a nail appointment in my life. watching my sweet, respectful, polite, shy daughter be treated this way filled me with a level of rage that words can barely express. this was completely unprofessional, completely unacceptable, and absolutely disgraceful. shame on this salon.

My feet have been through it the last couple of years (sports) and I wanted to get serious about caring for them properly, not just getting them painted. Of course, I turned to Yelp for the scoop and zeroed in on Ms. Glen's Therapeutic Manicures & Pedicures. I finally got a chance to go see Ms. Glen and it was everything I wanted and more. It was relaxing (I fell asleep)! It was restorative! My feet felt and looked healthy and cared for. I didn't get polished which is great because I have been wanting to go natural for a while to let my nails breathe and focus on what's really happening with my toe nail health. So may things I loved (in no particular order): - Very communicative from the appointment (via phone) to the confirmation and directions (via text) - Ms. Glen greeted me at the door - The studio smells divine (really sets the tranquil mood) - The studio was intimate (just me - yay) - The space was very clean (I am a stickler for clean) - There was a complimentary water waiting on me - Ms. Glen has developed her own techniques and products which speaks to her dedication and specialization (I love people who are passionate about what they do!) - Every step of the treatment was appreciated! (very detailed, very attentive, think - pampering your feet from the in-depth massage to the parrafin to the soaks to the grooming and much much more) - I got socks! This was such a special and much needed last step that I never knew I needed. It made my feet more comfortable and protected after such a beautiful treatment. She even asked me my size. How's that for customer service! - Now this one may seem trivial but I never had to hold my feet up during the treatment unless I was transitioning from the bowl to a towel. I do not like having to do that while someone attends to the bottom of my feel or heels. Ms. Glen has it worked out where I can truly relax the whole time. I also left with one of Ms. Glen's therapeutic hand and foot oils in Lemon. She makes the oils herself! It smells so good and leaves a refreshing but not overpowering scent. It feels good oiling my feet every night. Like another reviewer said, this is not your run of the mill pedicure shop. This is a therapeutic service that is worth every penny. My goal is to make this a regular treatment. If my feet are healthy, I am healthier! Thanks Ms. Glen for such a wonderful experience! I'll be back. I had recently purchased a soap that helps with skin discoloration. It hasn't been making any improvement in the uneven skin tone and dark marks on my feet. Turns out I just needed an appointment with Ms. Glen. The exfoliation she provided literally rubbed away 15 years from my feet. My dry scratchy heels were left supple and smooth and the calloused areas were left soft. Had I known what I was in store for I would have taken before and after pictures. She even provided socks for me to leave in, to seal in the moisture. My favorite part hands down was the massage. She kneaded into these tired soles, and I needed that! I paid a little more than the price listed (which she does quote as a base price) but she also spent almost 2x the amount of time listed. My Fiancé noticed the difference in appearance and feel immediately. I intentionally waited until 24 hours+ had passed to write this review, wanting to see if my feet would feel just as nice. THEY DO!! Ms. Glen definitely puts pride in her work and I love how she checked in throughout the process to ensure I was satisfied along the way. I recommend her service to anyone looking to give their feet a more youthful feel and look. And if your feet have severe issues that might keep you from visiting open public salons, her private suite will help you feel comfortable and secure. Right before I left, Ms. Glen threw in a bottle of her therapeutic hand & foot oil once she saw how dry my hands were. I had discussed my upcoming nuptials with her and she wanted to make sure my hands moisturized properly for my big day, even providing a demonstration on proper application. Ms. Glen is a gem!
